Most Helpful Positive Review Seems silly but super useful I felt very dumb buying this, plus i didn't realize how much it was until i checked out. But once i started using it, absolutely no regrets! I have small very hooded eyes and wearing mascara has always sucked for me. I was to a point where i couldn't wear anything except thick eyeliner when i wore mascara because no matter what i did i got mascara all over my eyelids. I wear a liquid liner wing almost every day so I'm not a total makeup novice. It took me maybe 2 minutes to figure out the best way to use this thing and I've been using it every day since. There are little ridges on the tool so it actually helps my lashes from getting clumpy too. If you have hooded eyes i would say at least try this thing out, it's not hard to use and really makes a difference!
Most Helpful Critical Review Nothing special I loved the idea behind this tool, however I feel like it prevents me from being able to actually apply my mascara normally. I'd rather just wipe off any mascara that gets on my upper or lower lids.

I'm still practicing. The black color is a hindrance. I would prefer a lighter color so I can see my lashes. With black, it is hit and miss.
Works good 5

Really helps me with my lower lashes. I usually just use eyeliner on them but now I can do mascara with making a mess.
It's a great idea, but.....? 3
susang27 from Modesto, Ca
It's a great idea, but it is difficult to use and does not really work very well.
Nifty little gadget saves me a step 5
Donnaleem from NC
Works so well on keeping your mascara application mistake proof. Must have gadget.

I love this mascara guard, it keeps it on my lashes where it needs to be! & it's easy to clean!
Worthless! 1

This tool was half price but even that was too much. The goal was to avoid getting mascara on the lid area where liner and shadow are already applied. It's awkward to work with, hold in left hand while mascara is in the right hand? Then make it an L shape . You must wash it between doing the other eye. Way too much effort .
a little awkward but still good 4

Works pretty well but a little awkward trying to hold this and your mascara wand, but it did help me with my application on my lower lashes from getting everywhere.
I would definitely buy again 4

This tool has helped so much when putting on my mascara. No more raccoon eye mishaps
Super weird 2

I thought I would enjoy it more than I did, I always get black mascara on my lid of my eyes, thought this would help, but it turns out it's just easier to wipe off the mascara than to try to use that .
Good Little Tool 4

I like the feel of this tool. It feels (and looks) expensive. The rubber guard is the perfect size. I use it for my bottom lashes. #Perfect👌🏽
Awkward 1
Eyes from King Of Prussia
Bought this because I always get mascara on my eyelid and have to use eye makeup remover to get it off. Holding this was awkward and didn't work well. I think I need more of an eyelid pad that I can just put on vs having to hold this and a wand. Return.
Handy little tool but..... 2

this tool would be perfect if the silicon pad is clear. while its a black color pad, I cant see my lashes or what I was doing while putting on mascara. However, I do love the shape of this handy tool. I will not be keeping it as reason stated early.
Hard to use 2

Really hard to use and to get in the right spot. I get the idea of it but dosnt necessarily work in my opinion.
Great little guard to keep mascara off your skin! 5

This little tool is great for applying mascara to your bottom lashes and it is soft material. Also, I use it when applying shadows

I work as a professional makeup artist, and I love using this to gently pull back the lid and wiggle an applicator on the lashes against this! Makes it easier to pack on mascara with more comfort for the client. No mess either!
Seems silly but super useful 5

The worst 1

The worst tool ever!
Awkward 2
WIMNTXAL from 35811
Seems like a great idea, but it's easier to dab strayed mascara than trying to wield tool while applying with other hand.
Blah! Waste of mondy 1

Totally did nothing to help
Kinda ok 3

I guess it does what it's supposed to do. It's just that I like most people wear black mascara so it's a little difficult to see where I'm missing mascara with this black tool as a background. Plus I don't think the eye curve is round enough. Idk maybe I just have more round eyes. Would I buy it again if I lost or broke it? Probably not
not worth it 1
e from alabama
only helpful if you're not wearing eye shadow because if you are, this thing will take off the eye shadow
Easy to use!!! 5

No more dark mascara on my eyelids after I've done my shadow… I have small eyes and short lashes, but I prefer not to use falsies.

Not too impressed with this tool. I felt I still got clumps and smudges when using. I thought it would help me with more even application.
