I have both palettes and they are my favourite palettes over any in my collection they blend seamlessly and are amazingly pigmented the only issue is it can produce extra powder kick up but is very easy to blend away.
Bought both marvelous mauves and baked browns. Both are decent palettes. Love specific color palettes and the compact size. Pigmentation is good. Wish a few were more so. Sadly for me, I find the shadows fade rather quickly, even with trying with a few different primers. Within an hour or two was reapplying. Lots of kick up, but doesn't bother me. What did bother me..when I received my order one of the shadows (rosy) in marvelous mauves wasn't glued in at all ( see pic) and wispy washy is barely glued in and pops out .
I wrote dose of colors to inform them. They wrote back " Tell ulta"! While I would reccomend to a friend based on specific color palettes and/or compact travel size. I myself am a bit hesitant to spend another $32 from this company especially out of store due to their subpar glue job and subpar customer service.

The mauve colors are so beautiful! They blend very well. Easy palette to work with.

Walking purchasing again it's like I'm buying cheap make up
Dalys from Arizona
This is a great eyeshadow palette for everyday! I love it. I feel very feminine when I wear it 😌
Belle from DC
I asked for this for Xmas and am overjoyed I got it. I wore it combined with a gold cut crease on NYE and got SO MANY compliments. it's very pigmented, so watch the fallout, but that's unavoidable with highly pigmented and finely milled products. The blendability is right up there with Natasha Denona - the best I've ever used. These are also big pans in a little palette so I feel I got my money's worth. can't recommend enough.

I bought this as a gift for my sister. I personally have this and love the colors. I would have liked a shimmer shade but aside from that this palette is amazing

Primarily in lid crease every day with darkening and extension of palette at night

I have brown hair and brown eyes and always believed that purple-y and mauve tones were best suited for my complexion. For the past several years I've been looking for a palette that was only these types of tones versus just one shade in a collection and tried a Colour Pop palette (too bright) and was holding out hope that maybe one day there would be an Urban Decay Naked palette in all purples. And low and behold! In walks the Marvelous Mauves Eyeshadow palette. I've never heard of this brand, but I'm glad I gave it a shot. The colors, though they look powdery, are actually very pigmented and go on smooth and bled VERY well. There was a smidge of fallout, but I was a little aggressive with pressing it onto my lids, so maybe it was user error. But regardless, GET THIS PALETTE. The colors are perfect. They can be muted for day time and then smoked out for a night look. I love it!

The colors in this pallet blend so well together. Everything you need is right there. I was very surprised with how smooth they were.

this is such a beautiful palette. i was a little concerned when first dipping into it because it looked easily powdery but when applied to my eye (with a primer base) it was auch a beautiful blend. i loved it so much that i came back to shop more of Dose Of Colors palettes. i will buy this palette again!

WOW!... I bought all the palettes in this line, because the pigment depth, blendability, and over all quality is like nothing else out there except Jeffree Star's palettes. These DOC colors are **sophisticated and ALL usable, flattering, and the combos they made in each one are perfect to make great looks without needing to dig out other palettes. Stunning ...and a real class act all around ...from unique delicious color versions of each shade....to the rich high quality velvety amazing performance.

This is the closest to a true mauve palette that I have found and the colors blend together nicely. I consider these shades to be matte. I suggest to dig into the shades gently or there will be a lot of fallout. The packaging is a cute metallic pink but it wont snap shut so I have to put it back in the box to keep it safe.

I. Love. This. Palette! I have been wanting mauves and cool colored eyeshadows lately and when I saw the swatches for this palette, I know I needed to have it. As with other dose of colors products, the shades are pigmented, blend nicely with each other, and of course just look beautiful. If you want it honey, buy it.
Theresa from Durham, NC
These shadows are beautiful and super easy to blend. I mostly stick to the pinkier shades, but with the amount of use I get out of the palette it's totally worth the price.

I kind can't believe how many reviews where people equate "fall out" with a poor quality shadow... fallout occurs when a shadow is soft- thus usually goes hand in hand with blendability and high pigment content (since high pigment means less of the filler which "hardens the shadow). This also occurs with art supplies btw- soft pastels are very pigmented and blendable but have a lot of "fall out", hard pastels do not blend as well but are good for doing detail work where blending isn't as important....I can't think of a high end shadow that doesn't "kick up or have fallout". It also matters what technique you use, lightly dab the shadow (don't rub or swipe) then tap the brush and viola you're ready to go. Don't get me wrong, I can understand not liking fallout, although I would imagine you'd have to stick with drug store unpigmented palettes... I've customized myself to just doing my eye makeup first so I can easily get rid of fall out but in a perfect world I'd do eyes last. I've just come to accept it as part of a high quality palette.
ANYWAYS, before I get too far on another tangent, I hope this helped if you're trying to decide whether to give these a shot. I read all these reviews after trying them, and I could not believe it- I mean people are always going to have different preferences or goals but from what I can tell, a lot of it is from not using the palette correctly or mistaken impressions on what a more high end palette is like?
OH BTW this would have gotten 5 stars from me JUST on the colors. FINALLY a cool toned pink palette. I've been searching and could not find a single one- the pinks always sway more on the warm side (yes I'm looking at you UD naked cherry!) and I'm a fair skinned cool toned girl, that just doesn't look good in those colors. THANK YOU DOSE OF COLORS!! Please please please make more cool toned palettes that are NOT grays and taupes. In fact I think the whole makeup community might not even know pinks and reds come in cool tones
Alex from Milwaukee
These are MY COLORS. I love their matte formula. Even tho it is dusty and has a lot of fall out I don't care. Those kinds of shadows blend like a dream!! I use this palette all the time in conjunction with other palettes.
Nonya from Somewhere
When I put 1 star, the review came out a 2. Not cool ulta. This palette is not good. Colors are off from the website and they are powdery, like get the dustbuster and swifter out because these drop powder everywhere. Not worth the $$$.
Laura from MI
I was so excited to get this and now I am feeling just "meh" about it. Nothing mauve here folks, these are very pinky wine to me. I don't think I even want to keep this palette. The shadows are extremely powdery. Be prepared for major fallout using them.
Clay and mud from Boston
Very delicate to the touch, entire pan will separate and pulverize if not extra extra gentle when dipping into pans. It's almost as if they were not packed and pressed enough. The lightest shade is extra chalky and the rest are just so muddy. I've tried different techniques and looks but these shadows just don't do it for me. I'm going to mix with MUFE Aqua Seal and see if they're good as eyeliners.
Bridge from San Francisco
Yes, the palette is super delicate, but if you know how to use a brush with it then it should be no issue.
K10 from South Dakota
I typically only buy things online that I've used before, or at least have tested in store. I should have stuck to that when I placed the order for this. I've never used anything from this brand, so I didn't know what to expect
The formula is chalky, when I went to dip the brush there was powder everywhere, and it became a cloud of dust when I tapped my brush
The color was faint and wouldn't build up. And speaking of color, these aren't pink at all like the picture. They are very brown and blah. I am returning.
Jill from NC
I really like the colors of this eye palette. They go on evenly and blend out very nicely. However, the shadow is very soft and breaks up too easily in the container. After only 1 use, one color in the palette has broken into many pieces. I tried to mush it all back together to keep using it, but I'm not sure how long that will last. If it wasn't for that, I'd give this 5 stars. Like I said, I love the colors, but for this price I'd expect the colors to break apart so easily and become one huge mess.
Brandy from Montana
The colors of this eyeshadow r ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFULL.
Han from Kentucky
The shades in this little palette are beautiful and very versatile but the formula is verrrrry powdery
