4.0 oz Item 2505931

Manic Panic Pastel-izer is an odorless, white cream base; specially formulated to dilute any Manic Panic pigmented shade into a pretty pastel. Customize colors by mixing with Pastel-izer to create new hues. Red turns pink, green turns mint, the possibilities are endless! Made specially to blend with Manic Panic colors for the most even application and richest pastel results.
CHOOSE any Manic Panic shade to Pastel-ize.

MIX Pastel-izer in a mixing bowl with a gradual amount of Manic Panic color. Adding the color little by little allows you to control the final color results creating the perfect pastel hue for you.

APPLY with the aid of a tint brush or a gloved hand. Saturate strands section-by-section, beginning from the roots to the ends of the hair. Be sure to apply evenly to the hair strands.

COMB THROUGH HAIR UNTIL FORMULA BECOMES FROTHY This indicates that it has been thoroughly distributed.

PROCESS Leave the color on hair for at least 30 minutes. Results vary from person-to-person, which is why a test strip is always recommended prior to the full coloring process. For resistant hair, it is advised to place a plastic cap on the hair, and leave on for 45 minutes or longer. Applying heat from a blow dryer for 5-10 minutes will intensify color by helping to open the cuticle of the hair shaft. This will allow Manic Panic hair color to absorb better and last longer.

RINSE hair thoroughly in cool water. Condition if needed.

TAKE NOTE Pastels may take longer to process and may fade faster than other colors.
Purified Water, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-20, Propylene Glycol, Aloe Vera, Citric Acid, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone

Comments about Manic Panic Manic Mixer Pastel-izer:

Typically I use a regular conditioner to dilute my dye to make unique pastel colors, but this gave me much better results. Conditioner has more moisturizers than conditioning hair dye and I find the formula can get frothy and not distribute the diluted dye evenly as I work it through. This is a much richer base with the same body as pigmented Manic Panic so I was able to control my custom color better and got a much more even application.

Personally, I don't think you need this. It's just conditioner with the same consistency as the dye.
