Most Helpful Positive Review Most Helpful Critical Review Reviewed by 9 customers Burns the skin around the lips and does not plump

I tried this gloss several times and had the same experience each time. It doesn't plump your lips, it just burns the skin around them. It was also way more painful than it should have been. I felt a strong burning sensation around the lips as well as an odd sensation that almost felt like my lips were really dry (which they aren't), but only on the edges where it burned. At the end, you end up with red skin around your lips like a kid after drinking Kool-Aid—saw that on a review somewhere else and thought it was a really good way of describing it, because it's true. My lips might look nice from a distance because of the "plump" look from the redness around the edges, but once closer, it's definitely obvious that the skin is just red and irritated looking. It's strange because I only had tingling and burning around the lips instead of ON them... which is where I actually applied the gloss. I wish I had something good to say about this product, but unfortunately, I would not recommend it to anyone. There was no plumping effect, only burning.

Doesn't do anything but shine

This is nothing more than an overpriced clear lip gloss. It does nothing for plumping and wears off quickly. Waste of money.

It does NOT burn and it does NOT irritate the skin around the lips!! Super plumped look, seriously looks like I have lip injections after I put it on. Buy this!!
DOES NOT BURN. A+ PLUMPING GLOSS!

I was anticipating for this to burn my lips like crazy and I was so pleasantly surprised when it didn't! It's very cooling yet still plumps my lips. Even if you don't find it plumps it still leaves a beautiful sheen. After the gloss wore off, my lips felt so smooth and moisturized. This product is worth it! I'm gonna throw out all my other plumping glosses that hurt. This is the ONE!
Benzyl Nicotinate isn't dangerous
Gigi from Ohio
Also known as niacin is found in protein rich foods. It is not toxic or dangerous. Do your research. It helps add lipids which in turn volumizes lips. All in all I thought it was a good product.

You're honestly dumb or just trying to strike fear into others so they won't buy the product.
Benzyl Nicotinate was selected as a vasoactive drug, on the basis of its lipophilicity that makes it a good candidate for skin penetration. Enzymatic hydrolysis of BN results in nicotinic acid, which increases cutaneous blood flow locally and as a consequence increases tissue oxygenation. Benzyl Nicotinate is component used in cosmetics. Marked by EWG as safe.
It is safe to use even on internal organs! To treat tons of diseases and no where will it say on any legit web page that it is dangerous to use or even consume.
