Comments about Japonesque Makeup Brush Cleanser Rosewater Scent:

I love the Japonesque line of brush cleaners. They get the job done, and are pocket friendly. Purchased the rose scent since it was new, and although it works as well as the original, the scent is weird. I loved the citrus scent of the original. This one though seems like it started out with the same original Citrus scent and then they added a dash of rose. just confusing!

I used as directed and gave excellent results. Don't over spray or you'll have an oily mess. It gets even my white brushes pristine.

As MUA I bought this from hearing rave reviews as the best brush cleaner for pro quality brushes I was very disappointed as upon using, it left an oily residue on the brushes and was over powerful with the fragrance it's going back

I know this sounds silly, but would this be ok to just lightly spray over face ot hair? Like a setting spray over makeup?

For a Clarasonic brush head we suggest using our JAPONESQUE Makeup Brush Shampoo. The conditioning formula of the Shampoo can be used on all brush hair types including sponges and with Argan Oil, it leaves them smelling so fresh!,For a Clarasonic brush head we would suggest our JAPONESQUE Makeup Brush Shampoo vs. the Liquid Cleansers. The Shampoo can be used on all brush head/hair types including Beauty Sponges, and with Aragon Oil, it leaves them smelling so fresh!

                          A:

Drying time will vary according to brush type and thickness. No need to use water! Here are the directions:

Hold the bottle approximately 6 inches away from the brush and direct nozzle towards the brush head. Evenly disperse the cleanser into the brush head. Gently rotate the brush head in a circular motion on a paper towel or terry cloth allowing all of the makeup to be removed from the brush head. Repeat as needed. Dry excess moisture with a terrycloth or paper towel; reshape bristles and lay flat to dry. Do not dry with brush hairs in upright position. Drying time will vary according to brush type and thickness. Ensure brush is completely dry before re-using.

Yes, you can absolutely spray it onto your makeup sponges for a quick cleanse, though we still do recommend deep cleaning your sponges from time to time with brush shampoo such as Japonesque Solid Brush Cleanser and water.
