I LOVE this brush. I see a lot of people saying that it sucks for foundation, but that's because they're probably using it with thick liquid foundation. It only works with thin formulas and only if you use a small amount to get light to medium coverage (which is how foundation is supposed to be used anyway.) This brush is mainly meant for powder products. I use it to apply my loose powder foundation (Tarte Amazonian Clay 24HR Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation) and I have a second one for applying blush and I adore them. It distributes product very evenly in a light layer, which makes whatever you're using look more skin like, natural and seamless, it doesn't cause micro-exfoliation (lifting of dead skin cells when using a buffing motion,) it's easy to clean, it's crazy affordable, it's soft, and it's duo-fiber, which I love. It CAN work well with liquid foundation as well, but only if you're using something light to medium coverage in light layers. I use it with the Lancome Teint Idole foundation as well as the Nars Sheer Glow (one pump only for my entire face, neck and ears) and it makes my foundation look absolutely flawless and one with the skin. If you're working with something that is thick and cakey and you use a lot of product this brush will NOT work for you. It will leave streaks and will not blend it properly. I find that this works best for powder foundation, blush, bronzer, finishing powder, or even contour powder and highlighting powder if you like to sweep it all over the area rather than being precise and intense with your application. Once you learn to use this brush you should love it!
If you're attempting to use this brush for anything but the thinnest liquid foundation it's not going to work. Duo fiber brushes are too flimsy. If you want more coverage or use a thicker liquid or cream foundation use the M439 foundation buffer brush. The long, flimsy hairs on the M406 won't move a heavy foundation enough to blend it out. I use this one for applying a light, glowy bronzer after a deeper, matte bronzer and the duo fibers are perfect for not picking up and depositing too much pigment. This is definitely not for picking up firmly packed product.

I bought this to use as a stippling brush for foundation, but it is way too soft. I'll use it for something else, but not for foundation
Angie from Alabama
It's too soft, it would take half the day to get your foundation set with it. I am now using it as a powder brush.

This brush leaves the brush hair all over your face. It's not very firm so more foundation ends up in the brush hairs than on your face. I was disappointed :(

Not good for foundation.

This brush does not work for thick foundation, however for CC cream and or light liquids. It's magic. Definitely recommend!!!! This is my 2nd one.

Such a soft brush! Love the way it blends out my foundation!

Not sure if I'm supposed to use it with a liquid foundation, I use a Beauty Blender for that. I tried using this with the powder foundation from Too Faced and it basically destroys the surface of the packed powder without picking any up. This might be a good brush for loose powder, but I'm not willing to switch foundations to try it.

I used this for my powder bronzer based on a beauty YouTuber I saw using it and wow! It blends my bronzer so seamlessly and makes it look amazing! I haven't tried with foundation to be honest but I did buy a backup brush because I love it so much for my bronzer!

Foundation did not apply very well with this.

Soaked up all my liquid foundation. Bad for stippling. The reviews on the Morphe website said it was best for powder foundation, which I don't use so I will be returning this product.

I love diffusing my Milk Matte cream bronzer with this duofiber brush. It blends the bronzer over my foundation so beautifully and makes my liquid blush look effortless, not too heavy. It might be too big for some people, Morphe does make a smaller one. I have a big head, ha!

This foundation brush cover's gr8, and spread's evenly. I haven't had any issue whatsoever with this brush absorbing too much of my foundation at all. And the price is good too! What more can you ask?

Would recommend another brush! This isn't it because it soaks up a lot of the foundation.

The brush pulls my shape tape foundation and the too face foundation super easy. Seems to buff out perfect

It soaked up all the foundation and then got very clumpy. I like morphe brushes, but this one was a fail

Bought this brush because an associate said it was great. Don't know if I'm using it wrong but it leaves too many foundation streaks. Still have to go over my foundation with a beauty blender after.

Perfect brush for foundation. I love it

The price says inexpensive but, they work just as good !!

Biggest waste of money on a foundation brush. Good for applying blush, bronzer, or powder...but NOT foundation!! Wish I could return it! :( Morphe is usually better than this, this is definitely advertised wrong.

I don't use brushes like this for foundation. This brush works great for bronzer and blush.
bre from Phoenix
brush was very flimsy and took time to evenly distribute product without streaks
Gab from Bel Air, MD
Not the best foundation brush, not very dense to evenly spread my foundation
