Most Helpful Positive Review Shiny frizz-free hair that lasts This is by far the best hair iron that I have ever used. I have heard about T3 from friends to hairdressers to influencers and they all rave about how awesome their products are. Now like me, you may be taken aback by the fact that you could consider this an investment because it's a bit pricier than most and think it's just for professionals. I have never been more wrong. This new innovative iron is catered to basically anyone who can hold a hair tool and want more beautiful hair. In fact, they individualized the experience by letting you diagnose your hair and input your descriptions with their ID system. Now why is this a game changer? Simply it's because not every hair is the same. My friend's hair iron could work great with her thick curly hair but I'd be afraid it would dry my thin wavy hair. The LUCEA ID adjusts the heat according to the type of hair you have, the length and wether or not you have hair color. One more interesting feature is the Refresh setting wherein the heat is minimized when styling second or third day hair so you still get the shiny bouncy frizz free hair without damage. I do have a very minute flaw in my product as I've noticed the edge of the irons white paint began to chip. This does not in any way affect the effectivity of the product though, just a cosmetic flaw but still I'd expect the outer paint to be more durable given the price range. I have still been raving about the LUCEA ID to basically every lady I come across with because they give positive comments about how shiny and healthier looking my hair is.
Most Helpful Critical Review Paint started to bubble after 3.5 months I purchased this elsewhere, but it was through an authorized retailer. Just a word of caution - the paint on both sides of the device, near the edges of the plates, started bubbling after 3.5 months of use - from there the paint easily chipped... The retailer accepted the return, as they have a super good return policy. But really, for the price, that's not acceptable. And I was not interested in finding out if a replacement lucea would last longer... there was nothing about this iron that impressed me enough to go that route. For instance, I did not find the plates to be as good as other "elite" options. I bought an Elchim as a replacement to this and found their plates to offer improved results at roughly the same temperature. This iron is lovely, yes. But I found the settings overcomplicated, and the effectiveness of the plates not there - both with straightening and curling. Overall, very much not worth the price in my experience.

This works very well. Read the instruction manual to learn how to work it. It's not difficult but takes some patience. It does take a bit longer to heat up but works so well that that does not make a difference in overall time to straighten.
Too expensive 3

Not sure I would pay this much again for this product. I think it's a good flat iron, but it's not worth the price and it would be nice if it came in a bigger size. It's hard to work or change heat/hair settings.
Another trusted T3 product! 5

I fell in love with T3 about 6 years ago. I had to get my hands on the latest and greatest. I have fine color treated hair. Theres a lot of it but its thin. I try to use all the right products. So far so good with this product. I dont feel Ive used it long enough to determine yet. I love T3 and cant speak highly of them enough. Im a believer in you get what you pay for. They seem expensive but they always have deals and specials!!!

I do not like this. I have to pass it through 2 to 3 times. I'm not happy with this purchase. I have 3 T3 curling irons and they are awesome.
GET THIS FLAT IRON! 5

I absolutely LOVE this flat iron! I received it for Christmas and can't stop using it. I love the touch screen, and despite what people said about the screen unlocking and the settings switching I haven't experienced that. The iron itself also heats up super fast, and I'm obsessed with the noise it makes when it's done heating because I hate going and checking if my iron is hot or not. Next, the overall feeling is very smooth as it passes through your hair, and gets through my frizzy hair very easily with no snagging or pulling. I'm done with my hair within 10 minutes to curl/wave and about 15-20 to straighten (if I'm doing it for the first time after washing). When refreshing, which by the way is so nice and styles with so little heat, it takes about 5 minutes to curl/wave and 5 to straighten. Overall, this product is great and definitely worth the money. I have the Dyson airwrap and with a similar amount of heat does not deliver nearly as good results. Lately, I have received so many compliments to my hair and when I run my fingers through it I love the smooth feeling (my hair has never felt this smooth). I want to buy the rotating curling iron as I just love this product and want to see what others from this brand are like. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A SIGN TO GET IT, THIS IS IT!
T3 Lucea hair straightening tool 5

Love my T3 straightening tool. Easy to use with one pass it works and doesn't harm my hair. It actually makes my hair look better than any other brand I have used.
The T3 Lucea will change your life. 5

I was very intrigued by this tool as I have stubborn hair that takes forever to flat iron and the straight style will only last an hour or two due to stubborn curls. I saw this one is customizable to texture (fine), length (just clears my shoulders), and if you color it (I have a peacock all over color.) not only does it straighten my hair on the first pass, but it lasts into the next day. And the refresh mode makes touching it back up a breeze. I use Minimal products with heat protectant first but it is worth every penny.
Obsessed!!! 5

Best flat iron ever. Heats up fast. The waves, curls and smooth hair you can obtain are phenomenal
Good flat iron but chips BAD 3
Crystal from Dallas Texas
I really like this flat iron. I feel it gives me smooth shiny hair. I like that you can adjust according to our hair type. It's a nice flat iron. HOWEVER, the white coating on the house chips horribly. After a month of using it, it was completely cracked, chipped and bubbles. I've had it a couple months and it looks like I've had it for years. Wouldn't recommend based on that. Go with one of their other single pass flat irons. Don't waste your money on the features of this one. My previous flat iron was just their basic single pass (the thin one) and it worked just as well but never chipped like this.

Worth the money! 5

I love this hair straightener! I was skeptical about posting this because I read many reviews stating that it worked perfectly the first time and then after that it pulled their hair and didnt glide as smoothly. I'm here to tell you that I've had this for about a month now and it does not pull my hair and works amazingly. I love that I can adjust it to my specific hair type and the refresh mode is amazing!
Nice features but cheap material 3
Itzy from Arizona
I bought this in January 07, I used it 3 times, yes THREE and during my last one I noticed the white pain was cranking and peeling off. Seriously? All this money for a poor quality item.
The product is amazing, does a very nice job to your hair without damaging it but it's hard to believe that materials are so bad. I ended returning the item and waiting for a replacement hoping this was a one time thing however if it reoccurs I might go back to the loyal babyliss. I'll keep you post.
I would buy this product again 5

Girls, It Live up to the Hype. 5

Finally a company that gets it right. I paid this with my hard earned money and lemme tell you it was sooo worth it!!! ANYWAY, this flat iron is amazing! I wanted a flat iron that was going to be worth the purchase, bc lets face it, it ain't cheap. This leaves my hair so soft, silky, and shiny. My hair didn't smell like it was burning. My hair has not been frizzy whatsoever. It's honestly not that hard to get used to the settings. They have some short clips the company made to walk you through how to use it. This flat iron is so beautiful. Aesthetically pleasing, with not only being white, but also having a pearl like finish. There are no buttons, so I guess this makes it touch screen. My hair is not chemically treated, it is between frizzy and wavy, and my hair is really thick and its also course. It leaves my hair just amazing, and I got so many complements from my husband and normally he doesn't notice my straight hair like that. This does live to the hype and there is a smart flat iron that finally checks off everything on the list that we, as girls, want in a flat iron. I just haven't curled my hair with this so I am hoping that it does a nice job with that bc it is not in my budget to also get the ID curling iron. Anyway, if you are on the market, do yourself a favor and get yourself this beauty.
Wow 5

I've had expensive hair curlers and a cheap straightener in the past, but this is a serious game changer. I tend not to use hair straighteners since I have straight thick virgin Asian hair. However, sometimes I wake up with random curves in my hair, and it only takes me one swipe through each section to get it straight with this straightener. I also like to make my hair wavy once in a while, and I usually use my hair curler from drybar for that. Usually takes me 15-20 minutes to curl my hair, but I am able to take only 5-10 minutes max with giving myself some natural looking waves with this straightener. 10/10 would recommend splurging on this!!
Not worth the price 2

While I LOVE the look and feel of the T3 Lucea ID - it is over engineered and sadly does not work as indicated in the instruction book. Basically all I can do is turn it on use it and unplug it ... but it's supposed to have many options to customize the iron.
Good heat but too much of a fuss to turn on. 3

It doesn't turn on with a fast switch. I have to plug it in and wait. Turn it on then hold the button for 5 seconds.
It's wonderfull 5

It is a great product, physically beautiful and to use it is wonderful, straight and shiny hair in minutes
Love the straightener, needs better power option 4
Kaylee from undisclosed
Definitely makes a difference than my old straightener which I got from hair school a couple years ago. Helps with the shine in my hair and it does work faster! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I still have a hard time turning it on. Once it is on it is perfect.
OUTSTANDING 5

Love it! Cannot brag on it enough! It is usually 1 pass for me. I have naturally wavy hair and if i let it air dry out can get a lil out of control. My heart setting is 2, due to my fine, chin length hair. I'm sure it would be 1 pass if i turned the heat up just a tad.
