Most Helpful Positive Review Rosacea Helper!!! I have really bad Rosacea on my face. Most cleansers, soaps, makeup removing wipes and especially micellar waters burn and sting the heck out of my face. I was previously using Mary Kay waterproof eye makeup remover and cotton pads to remove all of the makeup on my entire face. That is my favorite of all time. That being said, I ran out and didn't have time to order more. I picked up the Cetaphil version of this and it is almost as good. It costs a lot less than the Mary Kay one, but with Cetaphil remover I find I have to use a little more especially if my lashes are caked with waterproof mascara. It doesn't burn my face off which I love. I just pour it on the big round cotton pads from Ulta and I do my face twice to get everything off and go to sleep. I don't have to rinse or put lotion on my face after. It leaves the perfect feeling behind. Its not greasy at all and feels great. Remember to shake it really good before using it to get the 2 layers to join. Best make up remover besides the Mary Kay one. P.S. I have also tried the Clinique version and it burns my face. My Rosacea is very severe.
Most Helpful Critical Review I won't buy this again I usually use Alba Botanica face wash because it melts off the makeup and prevents acne. Ulta doesn't carry it and I didn't feel like going elsewhere so I decided to try Cetaphil Liquid Makeup Remover. It says oil-free, however, this stuff is so oily and greasy. It takes the make up off after using like a million cotton balls. I would not recommend this product especially if you have acne prone skin.

this is the BEST eye makeup remover I have ever used. It literally took all my waterproof liner off in one swipe like the goofy commercials that always lie. I even feel lighter as if all the bad decisions of my 20s have been removed. My lashes even came 100% clean which NEVER happens for me.
Removed Heavy Eye Makeup 5
Sky R from Fort Worth, TX
I was skeptical but I love this remover. It removes my heavy eye makeup, just make sure you hold a cotton pad with the remover over your eye for a few seconds before wiping to help break up the makeup. No oily residue and didn't irritate my sensitive skin.
I would buy again and again 5

Only eyemakeup that works and with waterproof mascara!
Gentle & Effective 5
mal from North Dakota
It has a subtle oil-y feel but it doesn't leave any residue or "grease" as some negative reviews said. It's so gentle and safe that I've accidentally gotten it in my eyes (with contacts... oop) and it feels like nothing. Literally more gentle than water. Does the job and leaves your skin really soft and supple for whatever comes next in your routine. Be sure to tilt it a few times to mix the ingredients.
Oily and drying 4
Em from Chicago
This product does a good job at removing makeup in a much gentler way than wipes. It is very oily and drying but I found just washing your face with water after, drying and moisturizing fixes that. It isn't a big deal to me.
Too Oily and Greasy, Bad Packaging 3
Ivy from Plano, TX
As a sensitive and combo-skinned girl, I'm very picky about my products. Usually, I use the Garnier Micellar Water, but they were out of stock so I picked this up instead. This was very greasy and oily on my face, despite saying "Oil-Free" on the bottle. I also don't like packaging because it's very easy to spill. It did a decent job in terms of removing my eye makeup. Definitely will not be re-purchasing again.

I like and it a cheap alternative.
I cherish this product 5
Diane from Ohio
Nothing melts off makeup as gently or as effectively as this product does. I shake up the bottle, pour some on a cotton round, and use it to remove my eye makeup and eyebrows. Then I wash my face with a Cetaphil cleanser. This product absolutely melts makeup so fast and it leaves your skin feeling very hydrated. I cleanse my face with the foaming cleanser to remove the rest of my makeup, but this is an essential product for mascara, eyeliner, and brow products.
Amazing. My new go to! 5

I have used so many makeup removers over the years. Dermalogica, Lancome, Beautycounter, Neutrogena, Clinique... the list goes on and on. This is the end of the trail for me. Highly effective at removing face makeup, lipstick and lip gloss and even the most stubborn eye makeup, doesn't irritate my eyes and hasn't caused any breakouts. I will purchase this over and over from now on. I've been using this for about 2 weeks. Only wish I had found it sooner!

Best product for removing waterproof makeup! 5
Eileen from Manasquan, NJ
Works better to gently remove stubborn waterproof eye makeup than much more expensive brands. Not oily at all. Love this product!!
Game Changer 5

I wear a ton of mascara and have extremely, extremely sensitive lizard skin and let me tell you this product is amazing. Three dabs on a wet wash cloth and three coats of mascara has melted away. It's great because if you're like me and have terrible skin, it cleans without irritating and if it gets in your eyes likely you won't notice it because the formula is lightweight. I love it. Just make sure as it says on the bottle to shake it really well before you use, otherwise it won't work as well.

Works great with minimal rubbing to take off my waterproof mascara
Skin Drying 1
Bree from Houston, Texas
I bought this to use as an alternative to makeup removal wipes. The first couple of days it seemed to have moisture and do well but eventually my skin started to dry out.

BEST REMOVER EVER 5

Melts makeup off and is very gentle on the skin. Does not leave skin feeling dry or greasy.
Love the Product Hate the Packaging 5
Kimmers25 from San Francisco
Wish this would come with a spout like the Mario Badescu products. The product is very liquidy & emollient in that it gets all waterproof makeup off, but makes the bottle slippery and spill prone. I've tipped it over more than once reaching for it during removal. Otherwise a great affordable remover that doesn't sting my eyes, leave a film, or break me out. Comparable to another drugstore micellar water I used to enjoy, minus the polyaminopropyl biguanide (reason I stopped using it).
Best Makeup Remover in the Game 5

Hands down my favorite makeup remover! No burning sensation. Skin feels quenched after use, not stripped. Gentle for all skin types, I'm eczema prone with no issues. Will continue to purchase!
Great Makeup Remover for the price! 5

No breakouts. 4
Laurennnnnnnn from Beloit, WI
I have a love hate relationship with this product. Love that it causes no new breakouts. Hate that I have to use 4+ pads to remove make up. It lasts about 3 to 4 weeks for me. So that's decent for the price. Have tried only a handful of makeup removers and this one seems to be the one that I keep going back too.
Great product 5
Elaine from Los Angeles, CA
This product is probably one of the best solutions I've discovered for successfully removing all my makeup. I don't wear heavy makeup, so I can't speak for that, but mascara has always been a pain for me to remove. I've used other products that sting my eyes, leave an uncomfortable residue after, or just don't do a good job of removing it all in one go. This product really does a great job at removing it, a little product goes a long way. I know some people complained about it being oily, but listen, I have the oiliest lids ever. My oily T-zone and occasional burst of oil around my whole face is just awful, but the oil in this product does not cause me any breakouts. Honestly, I've been using this for two weeks now and what I highly recommend doing is wiping the product off after with a towel or cotton swab. Even washing your face afterwards will help so much. I mostly use Cetaphil and CeraVe products so I believe I'll definitely be keeping this makeup remover with me for my whole life. Definitely worth the try!
love. esp sensitive skin 5
puglover05 from St. Clairsville, Ohio
I absolutely love this stuff. it is the ONLY remover that does not irritate or burn my eyes to remove eyeshadows and mascara. not sure if it's meant for this but it also works great for the whole face to remove makeup!! I absolutely recommend if you have sensitive skin, esp around the eyes.
