So every time I see something new, I give it a try. This one works as well as the UDPP on me but I like it better because it also doubles as an under eye concealer. With this product, I apply it all over the lid and under the eye with my ring finger and I like the coverage it gives me and it makes a nice base for the eye shadow. The luxe jar is also a nice touch.Most Helpful Critical ReviewLiked the old product betterI used Tarte's eye primer for years. it was similar to Too Faced Shadow Insurance but I liked it slightly better. When I went to pick up more, I found out they discontinued the old one and came out with this one. It's way more difficult to spread onto the eyelids as it's like a very thick paste rather than a lotion like the old product. performance-wise I had a lot of fading and creasing. I use my finger to apply and no brush and extend it out also if I'm doing wings. Its a dryer consistency but mine doesn't flake like some reviews. Due to the dryer consistency compared to a tube like urban decay, I feel like it absorbs the oil but I use urban decay as a second fav.
