Comments about Lorac LA Palette Santa Monica:

This is a really good pallete for everyday spring-summer if you are going for an easy natural look. The matte cream is a good brow bone color and the transition shade is great. You also have two shimmer colors to work with, or use the light blue as liner. Blush is a good basic peachy tone and the highlighter is just as nice as my tarte ones. Nice small size to do a lot. First Lorac purchase (picked it up kinda impulsively in store) and I am highly pleased. If you like darker/ dramatic/ warm tones they have other variations.

Bought 3 of these mini palettes and was so excited about them! Unfortunately, they weren't as soft, creamy or as pigmented as my other Lorac palettes. Ended up returning them.

I ordered this online and am not pleased with this pallet overall. It is pigmented, and I like the white color, but the largest shades are too peachy and too glittery. Keeping it since I got half price, but not one I'll reach for often.

Comments about Lorac LA Palette Santa Monica:

This was my first Lorac palette. I'm a tarte/UD person usually. I am very pale and 3 out of 6 colors barely showed. I really had to work with the product. If you are beginner I don't suggest this at all. I thought this would be an easy palette color wise to build a natural/neutral look or build it up for evening. I wanted to love this for travel. The shadows feel soft and have little kick back but when applied they blend out to nothing. Seriously, I had to reapply bungalow 3-5 times in crease after already blending out to get a difference in shading from my crease and lid with promenade/silicon beach. I used Sunset yoga in crease with Bungalow another time and still the blending out was more a fading out. Usually in the crease you need to be more careful not to apply too much color but with this palette expect to use a lot of product. The only really good shadow in this palette with color payoff is Twilight tide. Farmers Market is ok too for all over eye base shade but I feel like every palette should include a base. You could use Promenade and Silicon beach as highlighters they are pretty for that and blend out to sheer. Sunset Yoga(peachy) can be a blush but than your left with a weak eye color or way too matched with check/highlight. This is just a bad color combo palette and 5 out of 6 shades color pay off requires way to much work. I don't want to spend so much time building and rebuilding an eye look. I would purchase this only for shade Twilight tide but for the price it's not worth it. I don't know if I'll try more Lorac now. They have such mixed reviews.

Comments about Lorac LA Palette Santa Monica:

This was really pretty when I swatched in the store. However this is so pale that I could not build any color. It was so very light, and faded in just a few hours. Back to the store it goes. Was not happy with one shade in this palette. It's too bad, I won't be purchasing another Lorac palette in the future.

Comments about Lorac LA Palette Santa Monica:

This palette is adorable, and I really love the color selection. The blush and highlighter are beautiful. The highlighter is not blinding at all, but I appreciated that. It's very subtle and beautiful. The only downside is that the eyeshadow did seem to fade after a few hours. Aside from that, I love the palette and I can't wait to use it more!
