Most Helpful Positive Review Easy and Effective The first product made similar to this is Secret Extensions, which are extremely thin and you need to buy two at least, to get a nice look. With this product it adds length and fullness, it is 20" (it never said the length on the box) and this piece is thicker than all the hair on my head. But keep in mind, I have quite thin hair. The only problem with this is that it might stick out on the sides a but because my hair is too thin to cover the sides. It tangles a bit after wearing it, you'll need to comb it out a bit, DO NOT BRUSH, only use a wide tooth comb. It sits pretty tight, doesn't feel like it would fall off. I am concerned about the elastic band though, I wonder how easily it could snap? This product is worth the price, I wear it everyday.
Most Helpful Critical Review Do not buy I bought these because I was in a wedding and wanted length and volume to my hair. This product box said the extensions could be styled with heat, including curl and straighten. While the color matched, the hair felt plastic, looked waxy and would not curl. When the professional hairstylist tried it (after 4 different flat and curling irons), it still would only become more flat and have an ugly crimp. It had two chunks of short "layers" that looked like someone chopped two random pieces with normal kitchen scissors. It didn't blend well at all, and was flat and ugly.

I LOVE THESE EXTENSIONS. I've NEVER used extensions in my life. Saw this halo option that made it EASY to put on and it just sits on your head. I recommend using the clipping-your hair-up-method (there's a video on their site) by clipping your hair half up, bangs down and sitting the halo on your head like a hat, then unclipping hair, and letting your hair down; and NOT the pulling-your-head-all-the way-through-then-moving-it-up method. Especially if you have a big head, the rubbery-thick-fish wire-like thing might break, just to be safe. But otherwise, it honestly feels SECURE.
IT DOES CURL. I have curly hair, medium length. When I first put this on, it did NOT blend at all because it is originally straight and in contrast with my curly hair, it looked bad and way too long. Tried to curl it with my iron and it did exactly what the bad reviews said: Kinda crimped and failed to curl. Then I READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. This is HEAT-FRIENDLY SYNTHETIC HAIR. Meaning: unlike human hair, curls will only set AFTER it COOLS DOWN. So try curling a piece, then dump that one curl in your hand like cupping a tiny slinky for 10-20 seconds until it cools, let go, and voila! Perfect curl! You can also use hair rollers, then dumping the whole extension itself with hair rollers, into a pot of boiling water for 20 minutes and dry/cool overnight. Curls can be as tight or loose as you want. YouTube synthetic hair tutorials on the style you're going for.
I really wanted to make this work what with my baby shower in a week, despite the bad reviews. I'm glad I searched more info provided on the box as well as the internet. Highly recommend these quick, easy, affordable synthetic hair extensions. I feel like a princess y'all.

Hair color does not match as it goes lighter at the bottom of hair. Also it does not allow you to curl it.

Okay....so I got talked into purchasing this item by a stylist in the salon. She kept telling me how gorgeous it would be and how easy it was to style. She let me try it on in the store. I asked about the band while I was there, and she assured me it was adjustable and very strong. After I got home, I put it on and was adjusting my hair when the band snapped at the end right out of the hair piece. GRRRR.....but fortunately I had some tiny hair clips that I was able to sew onto the cloth band where the fibers are. It stays in place and isn't sliding off my head. Overall, it looks okay. I mean it is fake hair and it will never be as gorgeous nor fix as well as the real thing. It is a bit overpriced in my opinion.

Although I wanted to love this because the color matched so perfectly, it doesn't curl at all. It stays straight. So it's hard to blend in your hair. I returned this item the same day.
I really love this hair extension.... I've been sportin 5

I've been wearing it daily for almost 2 months. The color matches my hair perfectly, dark brown chestnut, and I love that it feels secure. I use a rat tail comb to blend around the hairline. I love the fullness and worth the cost. Not sure why there are the negative reviews, I love it.

Bought this hair for prom and went to get my hair done and the hair would not curl .
Meh 3
Marcia from Canoga Park, CA
The hair feels nice but wearing it feels a little uncomfortable in that it feels like it can be ripped off at any turn. Also, you have to have almost the exact same texture as the hair otherwise it looks weird and unnatural. Also after a few uses, the quality of the hair goes down. It also tangles easily

I bought this because my hair is thin and I wanted to add some volume for a vacation. The package says heat friendly...it is not. I tried curling it and was greeted with a not so pleasant burning smell and it wouldn't hold any type of curl.
Can't believe they sell this still 1

I've wanted extensions for awhile but refused to have "tracks" put in. When I saw this product, I had to try it despite the negative reviews.
The color I got matched my hair PERFECTLY. The extensions were way to long for me - it made me look like I had mullett!! So I took it to my hair stylist and had her cut it. She cut about 5 inches off and then added layers to it so it would blend with my hairstyle.
I tried to curl the hair with 2 different curling irons and it would not curl. So I wet the hair and used those papers you use when you get a perm (lol) and 1 inch curling rods, let it dry overnight and it worked!!
The band that secures it on your head is very thin so I bought some clear elastic and sewed it in with the current band.
In my opinion, Unless you have stick straight hair, you cannot just take this product out of the package and put in on and expect it be perfect! You will need to make minor adjustments.

The perfect hair accessory! 5

Before buying this product, I read a lot of the reviews posted here, so I knew that I might not be 100% satisfied, but just like with buying any other makeup or beauty accessory...You never know until you try.
I am 100% satisfied!
Yes, it took some trial and error, some pin curls, and styling wax but it looks great and fits my head well and is so comfortable.
It's not real hair, it's plastic. Don't rake a brush through it, use a wide-tooth comb to gently untangle it. You can also cut it and use a straightening or curling iron and it will change shape because plastic melts.
I found colored hair wax that helped me to not only acheive the desired look I wanted, but to also create a blended look between my hair colorr and the extension.
At this price point, it's a deal!

Bought it, took it home and opened to try on....the headband that goes around was broken and no way to fix. So I turned around and brought it back. No problem with returning it but I really wanted it to work.

The elastic band stretched too much. It never felt secure on my head and hung almost down to my neck. It would be nice if the band was adjustable. It was just way to big for my head. However, the hair felt great and the color was spot on. If you could figure out a way to secure it better, it would be worth the purchase.

Meh. Works for Halloween 3
gb1218 from Boston, MA
Bought this in the ginger blonde with the sole purpose of spraying it with colored hairspray to incorporate into my hair for my Halloween costume. The "invisible" halo is fine for what it is, but I really think that the only reason this is staying on my head is because I've got a pretty solid fishtail braid going and some bobby pins. Would I purchase this again? Probably not. Will I likely use this again for future Halloweens? Maybe.
😍 love it 5
