I had NO idea how much difference a brush could make. I have naturally curly, shoulder-length, (unnaturally) blonde hair that has turned on me and is now very dry, brittle, damaged and fuzzy. I am desperately searching for new products as this sudden change has to be from something I am using. I have always used a wide-tooth comb on my hair thinking this was best for detangling. I bought this brush on a whim hoping, but not really expecting, it to do anything different. I am SO pleased at how it goes through my knotty hair without that awful ripping sound! and it feels absolutely wonderful and yet gentle on my scalp. I am completely sold and highly recommend this brush for all types of hair.
In the beginning, I loved the feel of this brush on my scalp. Similar to that feeling you got from that metal scalp massage tool (looks like five or 6 metal wires/fingers). I didn't have issue with the curved brush head; treated it like any other brush I would use. Loved that it was super easy to clean. But at some point, all the caps came off (almost all around the same time). I hadn't had the brush all that long. After that, every time I tried to use it, it was scratching my scalp and not in a pleasant way. I just want to find a brush that works and lasts forever (Is that too much to hope for?). I just hate buying stuff that doesn't last and ends up in a landfill.

I really liked this brush when I first got it. The flexible paddle felt oddly nice. After only four months, however, the plastic caps on the bristles starting falling off en masse. Now, I'm not one to expect things to last forever, but four months for a brush is unacceptable. Particularly since I used the brush just once a day and almost never under heat...

I bought this brush to go with my Dyson Supersonic to help aid in the daily drying which is why I needed the vents, but I also have VERY long extremely color treated hair so I didn't want a brush that would continue to rip my already compromised but beautiful hair out. I went into Ulta and felt a ton of brushes; this one immediately stood out. The bristles are extremely flexible meaning they bend and give way to knots way more easily than any other brush I've had in the past- allowing you to work the knot out gently with a couple passes before anything breaks off. I can use this on wet or dry hair effortlessly, and it's true that it does feel like a scalp massage because of the bristle tips and the curvature of the brush head (slightly weird feeling the first couple times). I haven't noticed an abundance of tips falling off (I use mine multiple times per day with high heat so this is typical) or felt any scratching on my scalp but then again I'm not tender-headed and to me what this brush does for my hair far outweighs some light scalp scratching. I own 2 of these and will def replace with the same when that time comes. Highly impressed with this brush.

I absolutely love this brush! The packaging does not protect from heavier items squishing it in shipping, so advise picking up from the store.

I was skeptical of getting a brush like this to help my blow drying process go faster because I've personally never used a brush to blow dry my hair before. But, after getting tired of my pick attachment constantly falling off of my Hot Tools blow dryer, I figured it was worth a try. This brush GLIDES through my thick, curly 3c/4a hair. Now, I even use it over my denman brush to detangle my natural hair since that attachment ALWAYS falls off too!

I've used a pick to comb my hair after my shower for 30 years. I wasn't happy with my newest pick I bought a few months ago, so I decided to check out Ulta for a pick and came across this brush. It's very different to brush with compared to a pick, so that's been a little wierd, but other than that, I love this brush. My scalp get a mini scalp massage each time I brush my hair. I read other complaints of the beads breaking off, so I'm watching for that, but in the short time I've been using it, my head and hair have loved it. I went back to Ulta and bought the boar bristle styling brush.

I've had this brush for a while and I love it. I have a sensitive head and this is great for getting through tangles without any pain or frustration. Also makes blow drying easier!

Great brush super affordable and doesn't rip. I picked this over the wet brush as they didn't have A large flex paddle with ventilation in stores and i am so happy w it!

The flexibility takes getting use to but after that it is the most wonderful sensation. It feels like it has more pins than other porcupine brushes, they're definitely thinner and the protective caps are smaller so they feel sharper. For my itchy, oily scalp it feels great but it could be too rough for sensitive skin or fine hair. It's also easy to clean because it lacks the material cushion. I've had it for a while now and the quality is quite good (no lost caps, no cracks).

This is the best brush I have ever had for coming out wet hair, doesn't rip hair. And great during the day to be gentle with tangled hair 👍 It's also great on my grand baby's delicate hair.

This brush is amazing. It detangles insanely fast and doesn't rip my hair out like normal brushes. It's also lightweight so it doesn't pull on your hair either.

I like better the the "wet brush" and it feels great on my scalp!!!

At first I was fine with this brush. I had to get used to the different sections of the brush head flexing when I was using it, li,but that was a quick learning curve. After that I liked it a lot. Eventually though, the balls on the ends of the bristles fell off (seemingly all at once) and the bristles scratched my scalp. I replaced this with another paddle brush from a different brand.

Great for brushing wet hair after washing and for smooth quick blowouts.

It makes drying my thick hair a LOT easier. The bristles haven't bent under stress from heat either. I really like it!

My boyfriend was using a standard vent brush to do his hair every day (no. 3 short modern DA) and it was just not working well. I bought this for him for Christmas and he LOVES it! It's soft and flexible so it doesn't poke his scalp like a traditional vent brush, but still smooths and allows airflow during blowdry styling. Plus it does give the scalp a gentle massage. I'm not sure this would be great for hair longer than chin length but for short hair it's perfect!

This is an amazing brush. Never would i have thought to even write a review on a hair brush. This is definitely a great buy. Does not damage my hair and I've noticed less breakage when brushing my hair wet.

This brush goes through my hair easily wet or dry but of course wet I use a serum. No tugging and doesn't hurt my scalp. Helps to blow dry fast and very little hair is in the brush. I now like one brush to do it all for me.

The best hair brush ever if you have thick and wavy hair. Easy to brush your hair and easy to clean. And my hair never get static hair with this brush. Best buy ever! If you have thin hair it might not work that well for you.

This brush is great when blow drying, but nearly all the bristles broke within a couple months of using it.

I have fine, colored hair and it get super crazy knots—first use and it went through my hair so gently, it detangled every single knot without any pain (I could barely feel the touch of the comb) so, it was a pleasant first try. Def., give it a try!

I have thick, wavy/curly, bushy hair on top of being tender-headed. I have never been able to run a brush from root to tip through my hair in my life until I got this brush. It doesn't hurt, I don't have to yank at my hair, and the bristles are like a little scalp massage. This brush has literally changed my hair.
LJB from Cleveland Ohio
Great brush for blow drying and everyday general use. Never snags your hair and is the most gentle brush I've ever used. My daughter has one also and we love them!
