Most Helpful Positive Review Not what I thought, but works GREAT
Not what I expected-but still works great! I have long, thick, curly hair (though not too frizzy). I am extremely lazy and never bother to use styling products or tools. I normally just sleep with wet hair and then put it up in the morning. This was quick, easy, and gave me (what looks like) an old-school Hollywood blow out. Not too straight, not too wavy. Make sure your hair is already dry before using. THIS IS NOT A BLOW-DRYER. Basically the barrel heats up (pretty quickly) much like a curling/flat iron and then you just run it through your hair the same way you would a round brush when blow-drying your hair. I just slept on my hair wet and used this when I was getting ready in the morning. It does make some quiet clicking noises, but I think that's the "ions" being generated. I purchased this thinking it was an updated version of another Conair tool that I've had for a long time (half curling iron/half blow-dryer). While it's not what I thought I was buying, i'm still very satisfied with the results. I've received tons of compliments and most people think I've had it professionally done.
Most Helpful Critical Review Poor design, very short cord but worked for what I needed
Short cord that makes it impossible to reach the back of your head. No clue what they were thinking. Its really thin as well. My bathroom wall plug in is mid wall. Not too far from where i'm standing and this cord doesn't make it to the back of my head. The handle is poorly designed because you hit the dials while holding the handle. I kept turning it off and changing temps. because its digital and right on the handle. And anyone who uses this style iron brush knows you have to twist it and move your hand around on the handle. I have really thick coarse hair and this did nicely soft roll and remove a good amount of frizz. But not like a curling iron or flat iron.

I got this hot tool on the whim when the store opened to shop inside. I have wavy, medium corse, highlights, Asian hair. This tool works great on my hair. I use it to slightly straight and get the blowout kinna curl to my hair. My hair is soft, shiny and nice volume after. I find that using the hot brush and section my hair vertically and keep spinning the hair out away from the mirror works best for me with this brush. I will be switching from straightening hot brush for sure. I love the volume and movements I get from this brush. It's not duel voltage and the cord is very short. The temperature reaches to 375 degrees, not sure why it showed 395 degrees on the website pic. It's a hot tool, use only on dry hair.
Since I am So used to flat iron.

I'm used to flat iron but the hair around my hair never used to get straight. But with this the problem solved.
Doesn't get hot enough for my curly coarse hair
SMQ from Layla land
I have curly coarse mid length hair. I purchased this hoping to be able to do a quick blow dry (no tools) and then run this through my hair to get it straight. Trying to avoid the pulling, extra time and frizziness I get with using a round brush. The function worked but the heat wasn't enough for my hair type.

I have been using this product for over a year and love it! It gets super hot so you don't have to leave in your hair but seconds and I have no issues with the cord and reaching the back of my head.
I would definitely buy again

I just got a new hairstyle with bangs, I thought that I would have a hard time training them but with this brush, 2 min and they are perfect! The best part is they stay perfect all day!!

By the time I was done with my hair it looked like I just came out the salon!!! Love this!!!!
Almost Perfect, Except it Broke!
EyeAye from Oakland
The brush styler was exactly what I needed, until after about 3 minutes the bristles popped off of the wand during curling. I snapped them back in, but they come off very easily with just a moderate tension while curling or brushing.

I was so sad.

I got this after reading many reviews and even watching youtubers using! I was very saddened and disappointed.. --takes A LONG time to heat up -- cannot adjust heat settings once product is on and heating, so once youre using and decide its not hot enough, you must turn off and then turn back on and quickly adjust heat setting -- DOES NOT GET HOT, gets very warm, but not hot, so doesnt do much to style and curl hair. I couldnt use, had to bring out my other styling tools to finish my hair. I returned same day.
I LOVE IT!!! Where has it been all my life!!! Seriously!!!
Kim from Temecula
I use this product after shampooing and drying my hair. It gives it body, shine and looks very healthy. It basically straightens your hair and gives it body at the same time. I curl it slightly on the ends and it lasts. I highly recommend this product, just wished I would have known about it sooner!!!
I would not buy this again.

Brush is too stiff. Does not work on all hair types.
Great for my wavy long hair
drubyw from Marylan
I have been looking for something to style my wavy, slightly frizzy after drying, hair. Started with a flatiron, moved to smaller curling tool. Found this and works great a for smoothing my hair and making it look great. Only comments are that as others have said, the cord is too short and it does not come with a glove to protest your fingers. After burning a finger after the first use, I am using the glove from one of my other tools.
Does a great job on hair, but...
Kelly from Dunwoody, GA
I have curly hair and like to straighten it. I don't like stick-straight hair, however. I don't have much luck trying to create curl with a flat iron and the biggest curling iron I have is 1 1/2" which is a little too much curl, so this size is perfect. It's great at reducing frizz and making hair shiny.
I have 2 cons:
My hair tends to snag where the handle connects to the brush.
And the HUGE CON is that it's extremely difficult to clean. All other Conair curling brushes I've owned have a screw at the end of the brush that enables one to remove the end of the brush and slide off the bristles for easy cleaning. Because of the loop above the screw, I am unable to remove the end. So, I've been cleaning styling product from the bristles with a toothbrush and rubbing alcohol which takes FOREVER and I'm concerned about getting moisture into the ionic "vents". I wrote to Conair to ask them how to remove the end and all I received in reply was a form email informing me how to return a product under warranty.
Does anybody have any tips on cleaning the brush?
Love it !1111

OMG do I LOVE this hot brush! I hadn't heard very good things about hot brushes, so I was hesitant to purchase, but with Ulta's guarantee I knew I could bring it back if I wasn't happy. I couldn't be happier with a product though! I have hair above my shoulders that I like to have a slight curl under...not too pronounced, but I don't like it flipped up. My hair tends to be very curly underneath but straight on the top layers. It also gets frizzy. The only time my hair looked great was right after washing and blow drying with a round brush. Now I can use this to get that look the next day or even the second day if needed. It straightens and smooths and gives me the curl under I want, or it can be used on a higher setting for more pronounced curl. It has made my mornings so much easier.
Love Love This Hot Brush
Jennifer from California
The brush heats up super fast and I knew to expect the clicking noise because of the reviews. It wasn't a problem at all. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to use, especially since I'm used to using a round brush and my hairdryer. This is soooo much easier and takes so much less time, and in my opinion, my hair looks much better than usual. My only con is that I did have to be a bit careful about how much hair I wrapped around the brush, to make sure it didnt get tangled (it hasn't yet). I also lost just a few strands the first time to the tight spot between the handle and the brush. Not a biggie and easy to work around.

I WILL DEF RECOMMEND THIS PRODUST IT WORKS SO WELL AND LEAVES HAIR VERY SILKY AND SHINE
I look I stepped out of a salon!
Diane from Montana
I have been looking for a 2 inch heated brush for years. (I used to style with a hair dryer and round brush which is time-consuming and damaging to my ends.) This handy tool makes the hair dryer unnecessary for styling, though I still use one for straightening my long, thick, course, slightly wavy hair. The hot brush sleeks out my style and gives a hint of under-curl at the ends. I look salon polished! I use it on a medium setting, and the temp is perfect, not too hot or damaging. This works pretty good for my hair type, but the bristles don't always grab my hair well, especially if it's really clean. So I'm not sure this tool would work well for fine or thin hair. Oh, and the "sizzling" sounds others have mentioned in the reviews is simply the ions working. Nothing to be alarmed about.
My "magic brush"!
TTK from Chicago, IL
I found my "magic brush"! I normally have mood hair with frizz - and a lot of it, long (past bra strap in the back). Without product, my hair is wavy, frizzy, curly, depending on the climate of the day. I am a beauty product minimalist. Before this brush, I had the same hot air brush for 10 years - well, it finally broke so I had to go shopping and found my "magic brush"! This is a very effective brush. I simply wash my hair with "nothing fancy" shampoo and conditioner, air dry (occasionally blow dry) and then run this brush through by sections and I'm good for 2-3 days! Smooth, no static, shiny, and beautiful.
Bonba from southern IN
This did smooth out hair ends but it was way to hot even at 300 I burnt my finger twice and the thing sissels and makes noise. To me the bristles are too far apart I returned it not for me.

Works really great on my thin shoulder length hair.
Excellent for fine hair

Love the actual wand. The cord is too short and very flimsy. Not as durable and thick as my other professional curling wands or irons. I can see this cord breaking easily
