Most Helpful Positive Review pretty dryer, pretty hair!!!
My old steed Wigo died right before Christmas, after around 12 years of good service. I paid around $150 for it back then so was preparing myself mentally to shell out about the same for a new one. I spent quite a bit of time perusing the hair tools section at Ulta, and was very close to giving up when the rose gold dryer caught my six year old daughter's eye, then mine. It was pretty looking, light weight, came with two attachments and a travel bag, claimed ceramic plates and ionic technology, along with a very short drying time. I took it all with a grain of salt, but it had most of the qualities I was looking for, and in adorable packaging and a price point I could easily handle. Not only is the dryer straightforward and easy to use, so lightweight to handle (no tired arms, hallelujah!), and dries incredibly quickly (seriously, it feels like I just started and I'm done). But after all that, my hair is so smooth, healthy, frizz free and shiny!! I don't get huge amounts of volume from it so far, I'll have to play around with brushes and mousses, but otherwise I'm very impressed with this dryer, I only regret not getting it sooner!

I bought this in-store because I really needed a good blow-dryer for my thick hair. I fell in love with the pretty rose gold color, as well as the price. It worked really well at first, despite the fact that the "hot" switch was WAY too hot, it burns my scalp immediately, and also smells like burning plastic. I liked this product for the first week-and-a-half to two weeks before it started showing signs of poor manufacturing. After that short period of time, it started turning on and off while in use, or it would only work if it was held in a certain position. It has now been about four months since I bought it and out of nowhere the "warm" switch completely stopped working. So i have to decide between cold air on my wet hair during a Michigan winter, or burning my scalp. I am now searching for a new hair dryer. I don't think I will buy Conair hair dryers again.

It gets the job done. Something that I don't like though is that my hair gets stuck in the back of it. My hair will get caught and tangled in the back of the blow dryer where the air is being sucked in.
I would not buy this product

Had this dryer for only 1 year and the motor has already burned out.
Died after only a few months
Jules from Washington, D.C.
It worked fine until it didn't work at all. I've only had it a few months and I haven't always used it as regularly as I have been lately because I don't blow dry my hair in the summer. I had my last blow dryer for years and an even older one as a backup that still works fine, so I don't know why this one died so quickly. Super disappointed and annoyed.
Gets the Job Done

I don't really have any complaints about this hair dryer. It gets the job done but it's not anything out of this world. I think that it's good for the price and I like how compact it is!
Throwing it out
conairnomo from las vegas, nv
I only wash my hair like 2-3/week and so it makes no sense that I have had this dryer for almost 3 months and so much paint is chipping everywhere in my hair, my face, my clothes, etc. Also gets too hot and smells. Bottom line is that I threw it away. Trash belongs in the trash.
So Many Options!!!

This really worked for my hair, and all the technical options are amazing!!!

If you have long hair this product IS NOT FOR YOU. You have to stand no more than 12 inches from the outlet that it's plugged into or you will be plugging it back in multiple times. And if you have long hair, we all know that you need to sometimes be further away than that to blow the full length of your hair.
I've tried multiple outlets & same thing happens. Maybe it's just the plug in is cheap & doesn't fit snugly in place like it's supposed to? Idk but I wouldn't recommend. Super frustrating.

Very loud! Medium setting is too cool but hot setting burns. Worst blow dryer I have ever bought!
Great, until it started to smell like it was burning

I had this dryer for almost a year and it worked great when suddenly it began smelling like it was burning inside whenever I used the coolshot button from hot. It also had random popping sounds inside the motor when it was in hot mode. It all became worse over a week so in the trash it went. Yes, I cleaned the filter so that wasn't the issue.
No more Frizzy hair!!!

This dryer is amazing. With other dryers I would end up with a lion's mane and would take double the time to straighten my hair (I have thick wavy hair). When I used this dryer for the first time I didn't end up with a lion's mane and only use my straightener for touch ups. Eve my husband uses it and loves it too. I'm super happy with it.
Only left 1 star because I couldn't put no stars

I bought this because I needed a hair dryer with a diffuser. Only had it for maybe a month-month and a half, and it's horrible. It makes a high pitch screech sound when I turn it on now and will only go away if i put it on high and let it run for a few seconds. It smells like burning plastic, I'm afraid to use it on any other setting besides the lowest setting. My hair literally gets caught in the diffuser every single time, so I'm afraid to use that now as well. I'm pretty sure if I do, my hair will get wrapped up, stuck and burn my hair off or I'd have to cut it free. DO NOT BUY THIS. I wasted my money.

Got this after my hairdryer of 10 years finally died. It works amazing! And it really does dry your hair faster. Highly recommend!

Like another reviewer, I got this dryer specifically for the diffuser as I had mistakenly purchased another dryer that only came with a concentrator. I have only used the diffuser so far, but I love this so much! I do use it on the warm and medium settings. I tried hot and high once and as other reviewers have said, it is just too intense on those two settings. The hot is extremely hot. I should be using the low setting with the diffuser anyway, but I admit that I'm impatient. Medium and warm are perfect for me!
So far no complains

It does the job. The cord is a bit small but it doesn't really bug me that much. Overall pretty good and it's cute!
Shortest cord, can't move
Annoyed from Huntington Beach
Love the hairdryer, hate the short short cord. Why make a hair dryer with such a short cord? I can't move and I have to be on top of the outlet to dry my hair. It's so dumb and lame that they made this with such short cords. Super irritated.
So far so good

Love Love Love this dryer!!!

I used dryer for first time this week and I was amazed at the difference it made for my hair. My routine and products were the same...the only difference was this dryer. My hair was so soft, silky, and shiny...amazing results! I don't know how or why this dryer made such a difference...but I love it! Ordering another one for our cabin! This dryer is quieter than my other dryer with same wattage and weighs less...oh and it's pretty! My hair has natural curl/wave and tends to get frizzy when I let it do its own thing. Next time will try the diffuser to see what kind of results I get that way. So glad I opted for this one vs. trying one of the really spendy ones!
Great for my thick curly hair

Had a smooth this for a diffuser. Didn't fit. Took it back got the same line of blow dryer in pink. All these driers are the same, but different nozzle sizes.
I have found my favorite hair dryer.

My instyler dryer died after one year of use. I went back to the Conair brand and have enjoyed this one greatly. It does get heavy towards the end of 25-30 minutes of use.
LOVE this hairdryer so much I bought 2!
D from Mantua, NJ
I'm embarrassed to say I have had the same hairdryer for 30 years! I used a high wattage one while staying at a hotel, so I searched for an 1850 watt and found this. My daughter tried to steal it from me so I bought her one also. It dries my thin hair lightening fast and I love the appearance of it.
Not something I would but again
