At 64, I have finally realized that by buying good tools, my hair looks great, takes less time and thus gives me a better life!
Reluctantly returned it because the color was cute and bonus paddle brush, and I got a good deal with sale plus coupon, but too heavy, my arm ached by the time I was done drying! Hated the "rocker" controls - was afraid of accidentally switching it off or changing the setting, so holding it was so awkward and added to the discomfort. The concentrator has side vents so air spews out the sides, not concentrated at all. And what's up with the long nozzle? With the concentrator attachment, had to stretch out my arm all the way so as not to keep hitting myself in the head. Poorly, poorly designed. Didn't see any difference from my old drugstore model, no frills, which frankly dried faster and hair just as if not smoother. Conair, go back to the drawing board!!!

Not sure why this got some bad reviews, but this dryer is amazing! I have VERY thick 4' long hair that also sheds a lot and this cut my drying time in half! Not to mention cut my shedding in half as well. I've always used ConAir dryers, but this one is amazing!! Great for traveling too since it's smaller but still full sized. And I love how the cord is longer too like salon dryers. It is a bit loud, but any good dryer will be loud (former hairstylist here!)

I have one and I love it.I was a hairdresser for 35 years .this one was a gift.

Cut drying time in half and is very powerful on the low speed with medium heat.

I will never buy another Conair hair dryer again. This was a waste of money. After using it for a handful of months it started running so hot to the touch on the handle I could only use it on the low and medium settings. Now the motor is sputtering and about to go out and I've had it less than a year. You'd be better off air drying your hair than using this.

I went in just looking for a cheaper AC hair dryer because of the untimely death of mine. My hair dried in half the time. This was a good grab for me. I am very pleased with this purchase. It is heavier than I am used to, but that is the only down side.

I like the size and comfort of use. Only thing I don't like about it is that it does not get hot enough the hot setting is more like a cool warm!

This dryer is stylish and affordable, and I assumed it would work like any other hair dryer. Unfortunately, it does not. It does not reach a high enough temperature to style my hair, only dry it. I suppose this would be fine for someone who prefers a warm hair dryer, or even a cool one, but if you want a hot dryer, keep looking. It dries hair quickly (the 1875 watts accomplish this) but it doesn't ever get hot enough to actually straighten or style hair - I might as well just stand in front of a heavy-duty fan and I'd get the same effect. I can't even return it - I threw away the packaging - so it's going to the donation center. What a disappointment.

I bought this on the premise that it had a Cool air setting and a Low air flow setting. HAH!!! This hair dryer has neither of these things. 1) The Cool air setting is quite warm; and 2) the Low air flow setting is equivalent to the High setting on my old cheapo hair dryer that I finally threw out after 20 or so years because it, too, didn't have a cool air setting. Also this thing is LOUD. I felt like I needed ear plugs for this thing. When it takes me at least 30 minutes to dry my hair with a hair dryer, I do not want something this loud. SO MUCH LOUDER than my old cheapo hair dryer.
What I really want is a hair dryer with a REAL cool setting (equivalent to the Cool Shot, but permanent -- not a button that I have to hold down the entire time I want the cool air), and a REAL low air flow setting -- something that is NOT going to move my hair through the diffuser.
Terrible. I'm taking it back tonight and will go back to air drying my hair until I find something that fits my needs (for less than $100).

Wasnt looking for a salon quality, obviously. But dang! This was junk! Felt like a toy hairdryer! Used twice- returned. Dont waste money!

My Hot Tools hair dryer died after less than a year, and I loved its light weight and good heat and power. After reading the reviews for the Conair I decided to try it. I don't like it st all. It is very heavy and bulky and does not get hot enough which makes for frizzy hair. I will be returning it and will take my chances wit the Hot Tools hair dryer.

Bought traveling to leave at visiting home. Liked the quality for the price and that the fast was actually fast drying.

This is my 2nd conair pro. My last one gave out after 4 or more years of daily use. I have very long (almost my butt) length hair that is very thick. It makes drying very quick. This dryer and accessories work great. I love the airflow of this product and multiple settings. I can't forget the free brush and diffuser that comes with it also.
Cristal from Long Beach, CA
For years I've been scrunching my hair while letting it air dry to get my curls & I finally decided to buy a blow dryer with a diffuser. Omg what a difference! Not only did it cut back on time, it also made my hair look even more curlier! I love it, it's a great blow dryer and it gets the job done.

I am a little biased, because this comes in my favorite color, but even if it wasn't pink, it still dries quickly. The hairdryer comes with a diffuser too. This is a fantastic value for the price.

I have had thick, wavy hair since my teens but never embraced it, always pulling it back or using a straightener. I started using a hair system that is specific for my hair type and wanted (needed) a new blow dryer with a diffuser. Besides being PINK! it is light weight and has multiple heat settings. The diffuser snaps and stays on while in use.
