Most Helpful Positive Review Everybody Assumed I Had My Hair Styled at the Salon...
Up until now, the only time my hair has looked awesome is when I visit the salon and my stylist does a professional round brush blowout. I have thick, coarse, wavy hair which is usually a bushy mess. I've been struggling to do my own blowout at home with very limited success. It's impossible to achieve the proper technique wielding a round brush and a hair dryer in each hand while trying to tilt my head to the perfect angle for every strand. My interest was piqued, however, when I saw this hot air brush as it appears to combine the brush and dryer into one practical device. I was surprised at how easily the brush bristles glided through my thick hair. I did end up tangling my hair several times as it takes a while to figure out which way to spin the brush. However, by the time I was finished, my hair was a glorious sleek mane. It looked so good that everyone assumed I had just come from the salon! I have finally achieved my best hair ever, thanks to this magical tool.
A few helpful hints to consider: 1.) Blow hair dry to about 75% before using the hot air brush. 2.) Style in sections, starting from the bottom and work your way up. 3.) For long hair, use the wider brush attachment. 4.) Apply a good product or two prior to styling (I prefer argan oil followed by a smoothing cream). 5.) Go slow and take your time (or you could end up with the brush painfully tangled against your head). 6.) Recommend this hot air brush to a frizzy-haired friend because we should all have beautiful hair.
Most Helpful Critical Review Just Okay.
I have moderately thin hair and I have to blow dry my hair significantly before using this spin hot air brush. What's great is it actually does make your hair look deceivingly voluminous. However, if you're impatient or strapped for time, it's not the best tool to style your hair with. It gets heavy after a while and the uneven heat distribution adds to the delay. Also, the location of the power switch hinders it's ease of use.

I love this brush so much I have bought it twice. The only reason I had to buy it again was because the first one got old but lasted me well over 2 years! It's great because it cuts tour time in half by blow drying and curling tour hair at the same time. It provides great volume to your hair especially if thin.
This tool is perfect for drying/curling my bangs.

I'm still learning how to use it!!!!!!!

I'm totally new to this product. It will be the greatest when I have it down but I'm still figuring it out.

I bought this in hopes it would make my routine easier but the brush is all soft bristles and doesn't really grab my hair enough to pull it tight. It's better than using a blow dryer and a brush but I wish they sold an attachment with a mix of bristles. Also the bristles bend really easily so I'm assuming you are supposed to take it off but one of mine has bent due to laying on the shelf I keep it on. The protective cover for the brush also isn't stiff so it won't eliminate the issue either. I bought this one for the spin action but don't use it because it's hard to get it to spin the way you want could be me but I don't find it intuitive while using. I have pretty fine hair that is slightly coarse and it takes about 30 minutes to dry so it doesn't exactly save me time as I still need to run a straightener through my hair to smooth it out. I would give more stars if they had an attachment with harder bristles.
Not for thick, curly hair

I purchased this after being referred by a beautician. My hair got caught in pieces of the barrel and sometimes it wouldn't roll on my hair. The bristles came out also. I would not recommend.
I love this curler so much that I brought my sister one.

Better options exist

I had a similar cheap Chinese one while living out of the US, I hoped this would be an upgraded version, & I was disappointed. Cannot be used to simultaneously dry hair at all, counterintuitive settings, leaves my hair frizzy, a lot of hair seems to come out in the process, & I couldn't get it to help create a curl on the ends. I think this tool could possibly be good for creating volume in short hair, but just wasn't what I wanted.

Don't waste money

I was excited when I ordered. The thought of having a saloon blow dry sounds awesome right? Not the case. Styler still leaves hair frizzy and must use tiny sections and spend a lot of time. I ended up just blow drying and flat ironing my hair. Not worth the money.
I would not buy this again, too BIG.

REALLY LONG HAIR
Bristles are too fragile and it gets too hot
Mims72 from AR
Love the 2 sizes of brushes. Controls aren't intuitive for rotating brush. Some bristles became bent or fell out on first use and my hair is getting thin. I pulled out a lot of hair. Too hot and hair did not look sleek or smooth. Will be exchanging for a different brand with better features.
I love this product! It smooths out my frizzy looking hair &

Not for thick hair

I wanted to love this dryer, but the brush was too soft to make it through my curly hair. I need a more rigid brush. It is tiring using a separate round brush and dryer and had hoped this would do the trick.

I have extremely thin hair due to loss from medication and I never thought anything was going to really make a difference with the volume of it and that it would take the shape I wanted. I have a 1967 long layered cut and it has bangs and I love my cut but I never got the best out of it till I got this device. It changed everything. I love how simple it is to use and what it does to shape my hair. Volume-oh my, have I got that. It is rocking my hair like nothing else, Best decision I ever made and it is my signature color too. Love it!

This product really works well as long as you section your hair & do not use it on soaking wet hair because then it would take too much time. It is best to either air dry or hit it with a regular blow dryer until it is damp. Then divide & clip hair into 2 inch sections. Start at the back of your neck and do the back first then the top and sides. I have a lot of hair and it only takes me about 15 minutes to complete it. My hair looks like I had a professional blowout every time.

I have bought many curling irons and found this one the best and easy to use it blows warm air and you have a barrel that curls under or over it does not burn your hand I love it
Loved it UNTIL....
Summerdaze from Athens, GA
I bought this on Black Friday. I used it twice, and the spin brush stopped working. I'm so sad! I LOVED it until it no longer would spin. I hope I can return it. I had thrown the box and everything away, because I loved it so much the first time I used it. I can't believe it would stop after only two uses! I do not have a lot of hair, but it was working well on my fine, thin, curly hair. I would like another one, but I'm also afraid to try it again.

Not for my type hair.
Not Enough Heat
Janet from Mesa Az
Yes it spins. That's all that's good. If you have thick hair forget about using this. Now the Revlon spin brush much better. It actually gives a good amount of heat and dries your hair well. It's sad I can't find it anymore since my other one finally stopped working. Its unfortunate to discontinue something people enjoy. Taking it back.
I would not recommend if you have thick curly hair
Lee from Miami
I am actually going to return this brush. The Bristles are too soft. I am not able to grab the hair to straighten.
Saira from Mtn House
No heat whatsoever!! 500 Watts??! You've got to be kidding me. Does not sey thick hair. Used it and gave up because of it. Can't believe Revlon discontinued their spin brush. That one was awesome. I will be returning this product immediately
Gives a great salon blow out look but no curls
Mfabbs from Scranton, Pa
It took me a while to get the hang of using this dryer but Now that I did, I think it works great to style my thick curly hair. I use a large flat brush and my regular blow dryer first to get some of the dampness out and then I finish drying with this tool. It gives a nice blow out look but if it's curls you want, you will have to finish the job with a large curling iron. Overall, I'm happy with this product.
