turns colors and is patchy.

By caityk

Comments about L'Oréal Infallible Total Cover Foundation:

I had originally left a review giving this 3 stars, but now I realize it doesn't deserve it. this foundation oxidizes so fast, is patchy no matter what tools you use to apply it and looks super cakey. I really wanted to like this because it felt so lightweight for being such a thick foundation, but its horrible. it's also not full coverage like it says and doesn't even last 3 hours. I wore it today at work hoping for something that would actually last all day as I am a busy medical assistant in a doctor's office and this stuff sucks. I feel like I look awful. If you want a good drug store foundation I suggest maybelline superstay which has more shades than this plus stays on way longer and is actually full coverage, or Revlon colorestay.

not exactly what it says

By caityk

from Washington

Comments about L'Oréal Infallible Total Cover Foundation:

this foundation actually feels pretty light for how thick it is, but there are a few tricks I learned. first, when using a beauty blender it does not blend out well, looks splotchy, and does not cover very well. so use a brush to put this on but work fast because it sets fast. I also wouldn't call this full coverage. More medium coverage than anything. Overall I do like it, but I'm giving it 3 stars because it also doesn't have a big range of shades and the lightest shade which I use has a little bit more pink in it, so I have to do a little color correcting. definitely dont use this if you have mature skin or dry skin. I think this is something for us oily folks.

Comments about L'Oréal Infallible Total Cover Foundation:

This foundation is great for oily/acne prone skin. I am also very fair and the lightest shade is close to my skin tone. It feels very light weight and stays on all day. My oil doesn't break through much throughout the day. Definitely worth a try!

Comments about L'Oréal Infallible Total Cover Foundation:

I was going to switch to a Prestige foundation after my Revlon whipped cream was discontinued. I got 3 samples and a full size product to try. None of them worked for me. I realized at that point, I really like full coverage foundation! This one really fills the bill for me. I am age 60 and have normal/dry ski. I bought the lightest 301 shade. I apply a sunscreen moisturizer first, then primer then foundation. I used a slightly damp sponge applicator. The price is good and it only takes a drop. Love this and so happy to save about 30.00 over Predtige products. I also love L'Oreal brow mascara and lash mascara too.

I have pretty sensitive skin, I've used the Revlon 24 hr foundation and it made me get bright red rashes on my cheeks, is there a chance of this happening with this foundation? I've been only using high end ones but would love to save some money!

Hi Monica! Unfortunately, we do not have an exact shade comparison and it is difficult to select over this kind of communication. However, we would recommend taking a look at shades Sun Beige or Sand Beige. You may also want to consider bringing your current shade to your local Ulta and compare the shades in person. We hope this helps!

Is this noncomedogenic? I have very oily skin and I've tried the infallible 24 hour Pro matte foundation in shade 103 but I've been looking for something with more coverage since the foundation I'm using now doesn't give enough coverage.

Hi Alyce! The Infallible Total Cover Foundation does not make a non-comedogenic claim. However, perhaps you may like the True Match Super Blendable Makeup for buildable coverage which is oil-free and non-comedogenic. We hope you can find a new favorite soon!

Hello! The term non-comedogenic indicates that the product has a low potential for clogging pores. The presence or absence of oil in a product does not mean a product will or will not be non-comedogenic. Not all products are tested for non-comedogenicity. If the non-comedogenic claim does not appear on the product, it is not an indication the product is comedogenic.
