Most Helpful Positive Review Best Setting Powder Ever Made OMGosh I love this setting powder. It's finely milled. I love that it doesn't give me flash back in photos. That right there already deserves an A+. I used this setting powder in two ways. I used it at times to set my foundation or to set in my makeup overall when I create a full face. I also use this setting powder to bake my face and to set in my concealer or clean up my contour. I used the setting powder in the shade translucent light medium. The light medium shade has a very very light tint to it. This powder goes on so smoothly and feels like you have nothing on your skin. It feels incredibly light weight on the face. If I had any shine on my face throughout the day, all I needed to do is apply a little bit of this setting powder on. It gave my makeup a matte finish to it. I love how this powder doesn't set into my fine lines. I've tried other setting powders that are chalky, drying and make my skin look dry. This tinted loose setting powder from Loreal doesn't do that. I love how this powder goes on so smoothly and it lasts all day. It never looked cakey on my skin. It's definitely my go to setting powder for everyday. I'm definitely purchasing this makeup product as soon as I run out. If you're in the search for a great setting powder that doesn't settle into lines and doesn't give flash back, this is the product to buy. I'm super happy that I was able to get my hands on this fantastic setting powder because I had no clue this amazing product was out on the beauty market.
Most Helpful Critical Review Good but not for Everyone I was eager to try L'Oreal Paris Tinted Loose Setting Powder Translucent since both translucent and setting power/spray is part of my daily makeup routine. After applying CC cream I used a brush to sweep and spread the powder on my face. It provided a matte effect, minimized my imperfections and really eliminated shine.
Their Infallible line usually works with my dry skin, but after a while the powder worked against it. My cover-up looked split into parts and the color set into my dry patches, making them more noticeable. Of the 2 available shades (light-medium and medium-deep) the lighter was too dark for my very fair cool complexion. On the other hand, my girlfriend who has normal skin and a warm beige complexion tried the product and loved it. Her makeup stayed in place and there was no shine to be found. However, we both found that it gave major flash when photographed.
I would recommend L'Oreal Paris Tinted Loose Setting Powder Translucent to anyone who doesn't have extremely fair or dry skin and isn't concerned about how it shows up on camera.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Best setting powder I've purchased so far . I've bought too faced setting powder , Jeffrey star and nothing compared to this one . Such a great finish at a great price . It's almost similar to Laura mercier . It's not too cakey and it really sets all my oily parts .

This powder is AMAZINGGG!! It's so fluffy and sets my makeup beautifully! Loreal definitely needs to bring out more shades. I love that it's affordable and even has some coverage to it 🥰 YOU NEED TO TRY THIS!!

As far as an affordable loose setting powder goes, this is about average. I was not blown away by it but I wasn't disappointed with it either.

I bought the medium thinking it would be a similar color to the medium deep fit me loose powder but it was so much darker. unless you are the color of Nyma Tang this isn't a setting powder for you. the texture is very nice though but it's way too dark for me. maybe I'll repurchase and buy the lighter color. but the medium is way too dark

This setting powder provides a nice touch to set your makeup. I think I will get a lighter shade next time as the one I have is a little dark for my skin tone.
