Decent Shimmer

By Rikki Lynn

from Columbia, MO

Comments about L'Oréal Infallible Galaxy Lumiere Holographic Eyeshadow:

I bought this eyeshadow in the white-ish and purple shades and I really like them. I wouldn't say they're truly holographic, but they do add a nice shimmery sheer color. I also like to use the white one as a highlighter, which looks great!

Not Holo

By Twice II

from ATL

Comments about L'Oréal Infallible Galaxy Lumiere Holographic Eyeshadow:

I bought this with a groan because it's really annoying to see yet another (not actually) "Holographic" cosmetic product, but Moon Kissed turned out to be a near perfect dupe for Urban Decay's eyeshadow Tonic that was sold out. I may get Crescent and Full Moon next time there's a bogo.
I didn't have any issues with pigmentation when applied over an eyeshadow primer.

Its not really holographic, but instead duo chrome so if you want something that will reflect rainbows, don't buy this product,.

    Very pretty

    By TT

Comments about L'Oréal Infallible Galaxy Lumiere Holographic Eyeshadow:

Crescent moon is a very pretty duo chrome orange/green glitter. It's subtle yet brightening. I love it. It's definitely a more natural looking shadow than a blinding new year's eve type of shade.

Comments about L'Oréal Infallible Galaxy Lumiere Holographic Eyeshadow:

These finger swatch beautifully, but I could not get the same color payoff on my eyes. I tried applying to my lids with a dry brush, a wet brush (Fix+), and a finger, and none were anywhere near the pigmentation of a finger swatch on the back of my hand. They were still pretty on the eyes, but the color shift faded quickly leaving only a light pastel of the original color. Nothing special, in my opinion.

        Nice, but overpriced

        By tmariev

        from So Cajon, CA

Comments about L'Oréal Infallible Galaxy Lumiere Holographic Eyeshadow:

I haven't worn this on my eyes yet, but I got my Ulta order in yesterday and swatched it. It is a very pretty color, but I have had colors like this before in mainstream palettes and indies, where I paid less (per shadow). Over $10 for a single drugstore shadow that isn't even unique is not worth it in my opinion.

        meh

        By Trashley

        from midwest US

Comments about L'Oréal Infallible Galaxy Lumiere Holographic Eyeshadow:

They're decent enough as drug store eyeshadows go, but I have a few issues.
        1. Not holographic, but duo chrome. Just call it what it is and put the marketing gimmicks away.
        2. The price point for a drug store brand eyeshadow is the same as a prestige brand. Nope, not doing it.
        3. They're just basic duo chromes. They're the OG of dc shadow shades, not even anything original or fun.

If this is your first time buying a dc, just spend your money on a GOOD brand. Buxom, ABH, and Makeup Geek all have better choices than this and MUG is actually cheaper!
