OPI has curated the ''I'm Not Really a Waitress'' collection celebrating OPI's co-founder, Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, known worldwide as ''Suzi, the First Lady of Nails.'' As part of the celebration, Suzi shares her story on how she transformed an industry by celebrating the power of color - and of women themselves.
The name of the collection's shade originated when Suzi was at a wedding and a server spilled a glass of red wine on her. The server apologized saying, ''I'm so sorry, I'm not really a waitress." In Los Angeles, ''I'm not really a waitress - I'm an actress (or singer/model/artist)!'' is a well-known mantra. The name speaks to anyone laboring for a dream, offering a reminder that our goals are worth pursuing.
