  • Olive Extract- Known for its protective, moisturizing and anti-oxidant qualities, it is a complex combination for fatty acids, which is similar to skin¿s natural moisture shield. It integrates into skin barrier, forming a structure that protects skin from excessive moisture loss. It also helps leave skin feeling soft and smooth without tackiness.

Comments about Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel-Cream:

This winter has been really harsh on my skin. I normally use a giant tube of cetaphil. It didn't even touch it. Once I noticed neutrogena had a line dedicated to moisturization I did a little research. Knowing the gel cream would be more moisturizing than the gel, I purchased it. It instantly relieved my dry skin. It doesn't break me out at all. It immediately absorbs and keeps my skin happy for hours. It's been a Godsend this winter.

Comments about Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel-Cream:

I've heard so many great reviews from people and knowing that this was a natural ingredient already produced by our body made me want to test it out. I have dry skin and it can be a little sensitive sometimes... not usually. I put it on after washing my face in the morning and at night. Mornings stung more than night time so I downgraded to just night time and it kept burning. I figured my skin just had to get used to it. After 2-3 days I noticed chemical burns all over the side of my mouth, chin and lower cheek areas. I do NOT recommend.

I have a sensitive skin that is prone to acnee so I have to only use oil free products. After using so many, I can say that so far, this one is the best. Not causing brake outs and is very light.

I really wanted to love this product after so many great reviews and being recommended by dermatologists. This product leaves my skin so dry, it is just like water. If you are looking to moisture your skin and have a dewy skin this is not for you.

Comments about Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel-Cream:

My skin has been super dry and patchy. I had purchased several moisturizers, even high-end ones, and they had not do the job. They either left my skin too greasy or they wouldn't moiturize enough. My skin is normal combo skin.
This one has literally changed my skin in just the couple weeks I have been using it it. It makes my skin feel so amazing!

Works amazing for my extra sensitive, dry/ combo skin . Have never been so happy about this . Everything hurts my skin it's so sensitive and this product does not leave my face at all red after applying which is such a plus . So glad I decided to try this . I have been having the hardest time finding an amazing moisturizer for extra sensitive , dry/combo, and some age-ing skin. I'm 28 and and this is sooo perfect

Comments about Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel-Cream:

I'm 31 years old and pretty good about taking care of my skin. I see a dermatologist, get facials and abide by a daily skincare routine: gentle cleansers, daily moisturizer with broad spectrum 30 SPF, a vitamin c serum, dermatologist- prescribed retinal and a night cream. However, I do have the bad habit of taking hot showers. As a result I have very dry, flaky skin.
I was using IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream hoping it would improve my dry skin, but my skin was still flaky and difficult to apply make-up to. I tried a lot of products trying to improve the dryness of my skin- even slathering my face in Aquaphor. However, this product has provided me with the quickest turn-around. My skin is no longer uncomfortably dry. I have a little bit of flakiness still, but I've only used this product three times, so I hope to see continued improvement. I definitely recommend.
Please take note- this particular product is fragrance free, but other products in the Hydro Boost line are not. If you have sensitive, dry skin, I recommend sticking to the non-comedogenic, fragrance- free formulas. I checked all the ingredients in this product using the Paula's Choice ingredient guide and all of them rated "good" to "best" with the exception of the very last ingredient (the ingredient with the smallest amount) sodium hydroxide. This ingredient rated average and is used as a pH stabilizer, so I'm not too concerned about it.
