Comments about CeraVe Hydrating Micellar Water Ultra Gentle Cleanser:

I wrote a previous review and mentioned I was afraid to use it on my eyes after reading other reviews about it stinging. I finally tried it taking off my eye makeup and it didn't burn! It didn't irritate my eyes at all so I don't know what that's about. Just don't saturate the cotton pad a lot before taking off eye makeup and you shouldn't have a problem!

I love all things CeraVe except this. It feels like it's burning my eyes when it gets in there. I had actually questioned if it was eye safe when I first used it :[ It's fine for the face, just not for the eyes.

Comments about CeraVe Hydrating Micellar Water Ultra Gentle Cleanser:

In all honesty this is my first time ever using micellar water but I think this product is great. It deep cleans the skin yet leaves my face looking radiant. I didn't have any issues with burning eyes

Comments about CeraVe Hydrating Micellar Water Ultra Gentle Cleanser:

I read the reviews and was hesitant to buy but I'm so glad I did! I love the Cerave PM moisturizer so I wanted to try this. I've used other micellar waters before but stopped after I read about some harsh chemicals in them. This seemed better for the skin. I applied it to a cotton square and it took my makeup right off! I didn't use it on my eyes (I just used a wipe) because I was afraid it would burn this but this does a great job of cleaning my face and taking off makeup!

Comments about CeraVe Hydrating Micellar Water Ultra Gentle Cleanser:

I use micellar water more for the skin benefits than it's makeup removing power.
I had pretty much given up hope on my acne I'd been suffering with for a year. But as soon as I started using this, it went away! Before this I was using yes to tomatoes mcw, and while it was very soothing, my acne persisted and I needed to try something else. This CeraVe mcw is now all I use, aside from BB in the morning and olay total effects at night. I don't wear heavy eye makeup often (I'm too lazy lol), but if I did, I would use the yes to tomatoes brand on my eyes first because this does sting your eyes if you get it in there. It happened to me about twice when I started using it, but then I got used to using it carefully and don't have a problem anymore.

Hurts so badly if used near your eyes! Unfortunate, as I love how soothing it's is to the rest of my skin.

Comments about CeraVe Hydrating Micellar Water Ultra Gentle Cleanser:

So I would NOT recommend this for makeup removal, at least not around your eyes because it stings SO badly. It even says on the bottle you can use it on your eye makeup so what gives, Cerave!? I've decided to use it more as a morning cleanser to replace washing my face in the morning, and it does a good job hydrating and priming before SPF and makeup, so that's why it got two stars instead of one. But most people buy micelles water for makeup removal and this is NOT good for that at all. I couldn't flush my eyes fast enough the first time I tried to use this for makeup.

To cleanse skin & remove face makeup: Gently wipe pad over skin until completely clean from makeup & impurities. Use morning or evening. No need to rinse. We hope this helps!
