Most Helpful Positive Review Hydrate Cleanser So I got the Authentic Beauty Concept Hydrate Cleanser and I was pretty impressed with it. The bottle size is great it fits in my shower caddy perfectly with out being so big I cant use it for anything else or it falls out constantly! Weird perk I know but something that I noticed. Compared to other shampoos I really cant tell that much of a difference to be honest. So I will just say what I like about it. The smell of this one is nice, its not floral or strong, its just fresh smelling and light. To me I like that because the smell was not terrible like some all natural, vegan or whatever. I typically like the strong smells so your hair smells nice but to avoid having extras in my shampoo I don't need I'm fine with it being lighter smelling. I like that they have what the say is a performance driven vegan formula. It is free from micro plastic, mineral oil, parabens and silicones. And Cruelty-free, I like seeing that on the actual product myself not just assuming that all things are, as in my opinion they should be. I am not vegan by any means but I do like to help the environment in any way I can. When I used the cleanser it foamed up quite a bit and maybe I used too much but man their was a lot of rinsing. the shampoo alone left my hair feeling soft and normally I don't get that with a lot of others I have personally used. I was able to run my fingers through it before the condition even and that never happens for me since my hair is long and usually feels dry after I wash it with shampoo. However even with all the lather and rinsing I didn't feel I got that with this one. The bottle is a blue which I am assuming helps you keep the different lines they offer separate and I like that a lot as well. I did not have to remove some crazy hard plastic covering over the bottle opening either, while my hands are already wet and I forgot to do it before hopping in the shower! S annoying so again something little but I liked and noticed. Instructions and such on the back are simple and easy to read. Over all I'd say they have a really good product here and im excited to try the Glow line next!!!
Most Helpful Critical Review It's okay, not perfect for my hair type. The Authentic Beauty Concept Hydrate Cleanser is just okay. I am a mixed chic with a mixture of type 3 and 4 hair. The cleanser has a nice mango smell that's not too strong or too soft. The texture of the cleanser is rich, not too runny or slime like. It goes on the hair well, distributes easily and foams. My main problem with the product is that it tangles my hair. It knots up areas throughout my head and then the rinse out becomes time consuming in hopes to get all the soap from those areas. Once the cleanser was out, my hair felt clean but not as hydrated as I hoped. Plus, the tangles took a lot of my focus. Overall it's a nice product it's just not for me.

Beautiful Disaster from Los Angeles
This stuff is amazing! I wish I would've found out about this brand sooner. I have thick, curly hair that tends to frizz when it dries. I also have a lot of fly away hairs that make my hair look damaged.
With just one use of this (& the matching conditioner), I've noticed an improvement in the texture of my hair. It's tamed my fly aways and smoothed out the texture of my hair so that my curls are shaped and shiny. Overall my hair looks very healthy.
Yes, this brand is expensive, but it's worth the price. Also, you shouldn't be washing your hair everyday, so a bottle should last you about 2-3 months. I am never using anything else!

I've been using Kevin Murphy for over a year now and needed a last minute replacement for the Hydrate Me. This left my hair feeling clean and hydrated but not weighed down. Definitely recommend!!

I love this shampoo/conditioner combo! It's has a strong grapefruity smell that lasts in your hair.
The only downside is that it's rather expensive and the bottles are small.

Bought both the shampoo and conditioner. 1-star because it smells amazing! They made my hair greasy close to my scalp. I used as directed, did experiments where I let it air dry and tried blow drying. Used my husbands 2 in 1 this morning and hair is back to normal. I will be returning.

I found this shampoo to be a gentle cleanse and used it in conjunction with the hydrate conditioner, repair mask, hydrate lotion and mousse. This line leaves my hair so soft and so hydrated. My hair gets very frizzy living in the Deep South and I have to say it cuts it back 75%. I have shoved all my other curly hair products aside in favor of this product line. This line delivers a more natural result. I'm loving it, less work to still have good hair.

This stuff is amazing and leaves my hair feeling super soft and manageable. The smell is amazing and lasts all day. My only complaint is that the pumps that ULTA sells for jumbo bottles do not fit these bottles. The neck is too wide. This makes for awkward use in the shower. Don't bother buying the pumps if you're purchasing the big bottles of it.

I love this products. I started noticing during this quarantine that my hair was turning dry. When I used the S/C my hair changed immediately!! It turned silky and VERY shiny. The fragrance is nice and gently. I love IT!!

I had never heard of this brand before being sent the shampoo and conditioner to try out. The smell is so nice and my dry hair has been much more manageable and less hay like since I started using it.

Authentic Beauty Concept Hydrate Cleanser did a nice job of keeping my pandemic hair hydrated. I am experiencing a lot of dryness and split ends, die to not being able to get to salon for maintenance. The ABC Hydrate Cleanser kept my hair hydrated and healthy-looking, even in between washes.

I'm always looking for new hair care products that use ingredients that don't contain sulphates, silicones, etc. This company makes some great products, and they try to be conscious of what they put in their products. They smell great and work great as well. I love this cleanser, and think that it is fantastic!

I really liked this shampoo and conditioner! It left my hair feeling soft and moisturized. It has a lovely scent and my hair was easy to comb through out of the shower. Love it!

I do like that the cleanser makes lots of foam. When I first saw the bottle, I thought the top passage was going to be wide but I love that the hole is small which definitely allows the right amount to be used. The cleanser does have a refreshing scent, and I like that it makes my hair feel clean/ lighter after the first wash. I am so glad I got to try this free sample which I will continue using.

I loved that the BeautyConceot Hydrate Cleanser cleans and also hydrated at the same time without over stripping the hair to where it feels stringy! I also have color treated hair so I need that extra moisture.

This is a really nice, hydrating shampoo that smells SO good! My hair and scalp both feel very cleansed and refreshed, but still nice and hydrated. My hair is very soft, shiny and bouncy after using this. My scalp is very prone to dryness but after using this shampoo it feels hydrated and really nice. I love that there are no sulfates in this shampoo. I used this in combination with the matching conditioner. I can't get over how amazing it smells!

I really liked the Authentic Beauty Hydrate Cleanser. I was surprised at the amount of lather that it had. It didn't leave my hair feeling striped or dry. My hair was super soft and hydrated. It has a very light fresh scent. It's also a plus that it is a vegan product and doesn't have sulfate and such.

I am in love with this Authentic beauty concept cleanser. This works really good for my dry hair. This is vegan formula and doesn't have any mineral oils and it is parabens free. I love how it feels on my hair.

I received the Authentic beauty concept hydrate cleanser and conditioner complimentary via Bzzkit. The products really work great together. My hair felt really clean after using the products, however, I don't feel that these products are right for my hair type. I have 4b/4c type hair. I would recommend these products to someone with straight or wavy hair.

received my authentic beauty concept and love it... couldnt wait to open it and use it... when i opened the bottle it smelled so yummy ... not like other products i have used it is so easy to use . my hair felt so fresh and clean and moisturized . i didnt dry my hair i let it dry naturally . my hair was so soft and shiny ... gentle enough to use on my hair everyday.
i love that it is free of parabens too .. this is a great product and i would highly recommend it
