Most Helpful Positive Review Heaven Sent! My New Fav Product Ever! If you have dry skin, PLEASE READ: This is my new HG finding of all time, of all skincare products. I have dry skin that no matter how much moisturizer I gooped on my face, it never seemed to work. Now I use this on a wet face, before other steps in my routine like retinol, vitamin c, moisturizer, and my skin has never been so moisturized. Not only is this very affordable, but it will also help you save money on the amount of moisturizer you go through. My skin is soft as a baby's butt. And it's not only moisturized but plumped up and my pores have significantly dimished in size and noticeability. It only takes a few drops, but I use morning and night. It works as a great primer for your skincare routine and before makeup. ULTA does not carry the big size, but I ordered the big one directly from The Ordinary (their company is Deciem so that's the website that will come up when you Google it) because I know I will use this forever. I am 34 and this product is necessary for an anti-aging routine. It hydrates, plumps, diminishes pores, what more could you ask for? I have also noticed that the fine lines on my forehead and smile lines are no longer there. I also use on my lips for a quick plumping effect. I could not be happier with this purchase!
The Ordinary has become my new go-to for all things skincare. I am quickly working my way through their entire line, and on a budget! Their products are top-of-the-line and very affordable. Please do not waste your money on high-priced items with hyaluronic acid in them or on name-brand hyaluronic acid serums. This is all you need, I promise. It gets straight to the point with pure hyaluronic acid instead of being mixed with a bunch of fluff. No matter your skin type, you will benefit from this. However, this is an absolute must for dry-skinned people.
Most Helpful Critical Review Unfortunately not for me :( Omg I wanted to love this product so bad. After reading hundreds of reviews and watching endless videos and tutorials, I nervously decided to give it a try. My skin is not exactly problematic as far as breakouts and acne. But it's super sensitive and reactive. I have combination skin with oily t-zone and super dry cheeks. My cheeks are my main problem area where I experience redness and irritation. So I rarely try anything new when it comes to my face. I used the HA after washing and toning and before my moisturizer on damp skin. It's a little sticky but absorbs quickly. I didn't notice immediate moisture. Actually my face felt a little on the dry side. The first couple of days were okay. Then I started experiencing a burning/itching sensation mostly on my cheeks but on other area of my face as well. I thought maybe it was all in my head or maybe it was stress related. However it continued to get worse as the day went on to the point where I had to wash my face as soon as I got home from work. My cheeks were really red and developed tiny bumps. I had to stop using it. This has confirmed my suspicion that my face is sensitive to HA. I tried using a new moisturize with HA in the past and my face freaked out . I'm super bummed because it seems to do wonders for others. I am still willing to give a couple of other products from this line a try.

I'm on my third bottle bc this product is literally the only thing that keeps my face from getting oily the entire day.
I put it on at night once a day after the Laroche Posay oily skin cleanser and before my Iunik Centella moisturizer, and it calms any redness on my skin so fast.
I get cystic, fungal, and hormonal acne whenever my face feels like it, and this serum helps immensely with healing and stopping it from spreading

Ingredients are nice but the consistency is off. The product pills up on your skin when it dries and gets worse when applying a moisturizer and makeup over top. Super disappointed because I feel like it would be a really great product if it didn't pill :-/

This product transformed my skin. I have struggled for years with a constantly dry T-zone no matter what moisturizers I apply until someone recommended this line to me. I use the Ordinary cleanser and then apply this and my Weleda moisturizer. For the first time in years my forehead isn't flaking! It makes my skin look plump & flawless and it's so soft! Definitely recommend for severely dry skin.

I love this serum so much! Just bought a second one when I got low. I tone and use this as my moisturizer I don't like to use too many moisturizing products because it makes me feel greasy and my skin gets oily if I use too many so I use this alone after toner I've been using the Thayers cucumber toner so far it's been great been using both for a little over a month been a great combination for me my skin gets dry and dry patches and this has helped so much! Better than any other moisturizer I've used! It has helped balance my moister perfectly!

Literally anyone and everyone can and should use this product IMO. I have difficult, sensitive skin that I have been retraining and fighting against, and this product is just a great universal base to apply after cleansing (or toning if that's your deal). It locks in moisture and makes the skin nice and sticky for everything that follows after.

I just have to say, I never write reviews but I had to for this product. I bought it because I heard great views about this brand and product and decided to give it a try. let me just say... I noticed a difference almost immediately. It has tightened up my skin, helped with red spots and discoloration in my in my face. My skin is already A LOT softer, I feel more confident without makeup and even when I do wear makeup it has applied better since using this and when it's on (I put it on in the am and pm before moisturizer). I have already gotten a lot of compliments especially from my roommates about how my skin looks so healthy, clean and shiny! I would def recommend this product to a friend and to anyone! And it's even a good price 🙂 SO GOOD!
