Comments about Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Cream-to-Powder Quickie Contour Stick:

I got a sample stick in my previous package from Ulta and I loved the stick. I used it all so I had to purchase a bigger one and I will forever use this brand of contouring stick. It blends so nicely and I have a very fair skin complexion and I still look natural. It looks even better with a tan (fake or real, you do you!) I read some reviews about them receiving theirs broken but mine was not!

    effortlessly beautiful

    By Liza

    from Los Angeles

Comments about Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Cream-to-Powder Quickie Contour Stick:

This blends so easily and looks beautiful on my neutral light skin tone. it looks orangey as a swatch, but once i blend it with a brush or sponge it melts into my skin. i use it for day and night looks. it warms up my skin and is an excellent base for powder bronzer and contour.

      Acne and broken

      By Nic

      from Redlands

Comments about Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Cream-to-Powder Quickie Contour Stick:

This stick makes me break out and I have clear skin. It also breaks. The color is nice and blends well but will not repurchase. It feels like putting lipstick on my cheek.

      By AMO

      from KS

Comments about Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Cream-to-Powder Quickie Contour Stick:

I used this before I started using powder, and it was really beautiful and very easy to blend. Don't push the stick up too far over to use, or you're going to break it.

      Definitely would buy again

Comments about Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Cream-to-Powder Quickie Contour Stick:

It blends well enough that it could be used on fair skin. It would be nice if they had a slightly darker shade for medium skin tones. Definitely would not work as a contour on deep skin tones.

Comments about Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Cream-to-Powder Quickie Contour Stick:

Use daily as my bronzer. Tried it when I ran out of my TooFaced Milk Chocolate bronzer, would have repurchase it but I just cannot do the chocolate scent any longer (I think they have changed it and it is stronger). Anyway, the color is good for fair skin. It is easy and quick to swipe exactly where you want it. The product blends easily with fingers, a sponge or a brush. Am very happy with the final look.

Just like the other reviwes, the stick of product came broken. The first thing I checked when I opened. Goes on nice, when I blend with a brush or sponge it disappears.

            • Q:

Does this brand or product test in animals?
Asked on 12/22/2017 by d.a.g from Louisburg, KS

              1 answer

              • Brand Expert

                A:

Benefit does not test our products on animals. Since 1989, the Perfumes & Cosmetics companies of LVMH group (including Benefit Cosmetics) have not performed any tests on animals for our products - this was implemented long before the 2013 official ban set by the European Union. We are deeply committed to the elimination of animal testing. We're playing a leading role in developing alternative methods through our support of the "Fund for Alternatives to Animal Testing" in the United States. We also actively participate in validation studies of new alternative tests in the framework of the European cosmetics association, Cosmetics Europe. We are one of only a few companies to have invested in creating our own internal department to test raw materials and ingredients to further ensure the quality of our products and the satisfaction of our customers, which is our top priority.

As a result, all Benefit products undergo very strict tolerance tests using non-animal methods during the development of each product to ensure quality and safety prior to market. Some customers expressed concern regarding the situation in China. Our products are made in Europe and for imported cosmetics, the Chinese health authorities order some test on animals: they require companies to make their products available to be tested in state-certified laboratories for registration purposes only, as it is currently their only recognized method to demonstrate product safety. We are hopeful that alternative testing methods will be adopted worldwide and we will see an end to animal testing.
