Most Helpful Positive Review Wonderful....but please lose the gold flecks First off...this is really more of a SERUM than a primer. This is not going to hold your makeup on like a silicone primer, but it is still pretty amazing. It is full of really fantastic ingredients. Especially Hyaluronic Acid, which helps the skin to absorb and retain moisture, the Portulaca which is anti-inflammatory and calming, collagen, and we love Allantoin, which is very soothing and helps increase water absorption to the skin, and also increases the smoothness of the skin; promotes cell replication and the healing of wounds, burns, and scars. Not to mention all the amazing botanicals. The ONLY thing that bothers me about this is the "gold flecks" . They are just unnecessary and a gimmick that just doesn't make any sense.
Most Helpful Critical Review Not as geat as I was expecting... I will post on my blog with more detail but, this primers just is not for me! I thought it would be amazing because soooo many NYX products are. This formula doesn't seem to be any different whrn it comes to basic priming. The gold flakes are a bit random and not small enough to illuminate the skin. The products feels wet and sticky to me and make my combo/oily skin a wee bit unhappy. Also, the packaging would be so much better in a pump form...much more sanitary. All in all this product has the potential to be great but I just don't think it's there yet.

I love this primer for my dry/sensitive skin. Makes my skin dewy and soft. Not sticky or watery. My make up glides on smoothly. The only thing that I don't like is the applicator. Change it to a pump action.

Makes my skin look healthy and smooth not sweaty. I was expecting this product to move my makeup around on my face but it doesn't do that at all and I love I'm this product for that. I've gotten comments on how my skin looks good when I wear this product.

I had troubles with my fit me foundation being really cakey and patchy on my skin, so i bought this and mixed it in with my foundation applied with beauty blender. It looks super smooth on my dry/acne prone skin definitely recommend for those who have dry skin.

Surprised by the reviews. I guess everyone has had their own unique experience based on preference. I didn't think it smelled bad at all. Love the applicator, it keeps me from applying too much (one dip is all you need, and scoop off the little excess on the top and there won't be a mess- I learned the hard way). My fav way to wear this is w/o makeup- it gives a natural dew and brightness to the skin! I look so hydrated! It also holds my foundation together!

So I discovered this amazing product a couple of years ago. Entering my 40's I was missing moister and plump skin. Finding a primer that could give me both was just a miracle. Well Miracles come true not only does it do what it says it does the price is totally doable. It has a tacky feeling but not sticky just enough to grip you your make up without the feel of cake on your face .. I'm a fan . Great for summer ,beach glowing look

Totally recommend getting ! Makes your makeup last so much longer than other primers. Also gives you an amazing glow throughout the whole day.
Key of advice when applying put it on a fluffy makeup brush and apply that why so much easier and no mess what so ever.

this is my all time favorite drug store primer, and top 3 favorite primers including high end!! the formula is so smooth and makes your skin look so nice and glowey, it's perfect for dry/normal skin and i love using it with a bb cream for a super natural look

This primer gives me a glow & helps my makeup stay on longer. The applicator isn't great and threatens to make application messy. I've started putting product on my hand & just applying with my fingers.

This product is amazing it's not crazy dewy, but creates a sticky base for your foundation. The only reason I am not giving it a 5 is because I hate the applicator. Please put a pump on it. And if I'm nit picking it would be a bit thicker. But it really is great and helps condition the skin even when you have washed your makeup off

For the cost of a NYX primer, I expected more. It is nice and tacky at the start and your makeup looks great at first. After just a few hours my makeup is breaking down, blotchy, greasy, and my face just feels gross. I was super hyped to try this, but it's a fail for me.

I like this...but the smell is horrible. it dries quick which is nice and it feels sticky at first, but dries and brightens your skin a bit. I don't think I'd buy it again

Ok so I was in the market for a new primer. I have normal to dry skin with rosacea but wait there more with sensitive skin to just about any product. So I came upon NYX honey dew me up skin serum & primer. Let me tell you that not only did this product not break me but that it made my foundation last all day. I wasn't oily nor dry. It was the perfect match that kept my face radiantly glowing. 10/10 would recommend!

Not a bad primer at all makes your skin feel tacky and hydrated and ready for foundation. I would only use this as a primer tho not just as a serum as it makes my skin pretty tacky. Only downside is that it's super hard to get out of the little glass and spatula.. I have to rub the spatula all over my hand then apply it on my face a couple times as it's very gooey. Besides that not bad at all

Listen up to all of my makeup lovers out there, this stuff is so good. I have always had problems with primers not keeping makeup on my nose or my foundation would rub off in spots NOT THIS STUFF. This primer goes on beautifully, a little goes a long way. It dries down tacky and it makes my makeup wear longer and look better the longer I wear it. This primer is not pore filling however if you use the elf putty primer in problem areas with this on top it is an absolute DREAM. I have dry/combo skin and have used this under the following foundations, It Cosmetics CC cream, maybelline superstay full coverage foundation, wet n wild photofocus, and cover girl clean fresh skin milk. Give this stuff a chance you won't regret it.

it smells amazing and feels really good on my skin. a little goes a long way so be careful. it leaves a tackiness for the foundation to stick to but it didn't do much for my pores, i would recommend using this on top of a pore filling primer. since it is a dewy primer and it is very tacky and glass-like i wouldn't recommend it if you have oily skin.
