Comments about ULTA Highlighting Drops:

I order this product to wear by itself and also mix it with my foundation. Yes, this formula is very thick, but I added a couple drops of water and it thinned the formula just enough so I can apply it easier! I know modifying make up after you buy it is kind of taboo, but I loved this color so much I did not want to return it. It works amazing now!

Great for accent high lights

By mimi0126

Comments about ULTA Highlighting Drops:

These drops really depend on how someone uses highliter...HOW MUCH they USE and the TECHNIQUE they apply it with. I have medium toned skin with yellow/olive undertones, medium brown hair with warm blonde balayage. I got the color Angelic...it's a Very Pretty color for me. I don't use facial highlighter "ALOT or HEAVILY"...I use it very lightly and mostly for special occasions. I use a powder highliter to do an overall glow and blend...I just use the drops to only"accent" certain areas mainly cheek bones or on my brow bone..I take the liquid and drop a bit in the center of my palm to warm it up then I take my pointer and thumb fingers.. pick a little but up and gently rub it btwn my fingers. Then I use my pointer finger and lightly tap my cheek/brow bone until I feel I've got enuff accent/pizazz. I generally don't need to blend it out if I tap it lightly..if I do need to blend it out ...I just use a fan brush with alil bit more of my powder highliter and brush over it alil bit. I can see where pple who may use heavy highlighting or smearing/rubbing it into their skin may not like it...but I don't use it like that and it works just fine and has Great pigment. It's comparable to higher end liquid drops but without the price tag. You get a lot for your money too and with the way I use it it'll last me forever or until it goes bad which is not a big deal BC it didn't cost me a lot anyways..

The pigment is amazing for the price and you get a good amount of product as well. It can be a little hard to blend out at times

it is super thick

By Debbie H

from Toms River NJ

Comments about ULTA Highlighting Drops:

not sure why it says drops on the bottle. It is very thick like the consistency of full coverage foundation. maybe mine is also dried out. not sure. If I have time I will bring it back. I have a sample of the marc Jacobs one ans that one is more whipped. comes with a dropper but its worthless. I wanted to add this to my lotion for a glow... guess I will be spending money for the high end. This is a fail.

    Comments about ULTA Highlighting Drops:

I don't like this product a lot because when I start blending it in, it instantly dries and there's no way to make it blend at all. The glow is amazing though but I wish there was a solution for this.

I love ULTA.. but these are horrible. I ordered all three and all three are so dried out or just so thick I can't even get them out of the bottle. will be returning.

        Comments about ULTA Highlighting Drops:

This product is amazing! Do not put it on over powder though because it dries instantly. I mix it with my foundation for a slight glow. Then I tap it on top of my cheeks after concealer. Just gives skin a beautiful shine. It's not oily either so it doesn't pick up my foundation or concealer. Definitely a dupe for the more expensive brands.

            Comments about ULTA Highlighting Drops:

I got this color in Queen and it's a beautiful, pearly, pink color. It really suits my cool-toned, extremely pale skin. It doesn't look too glittery because the particles are so small. This stuff is great because you can change the intensity of the highlight depending on how much you use. If you use one drop for your whole face, it is a very reasonable level of shimmer, especially if you blend it out. You can make it really blinding if you just dab more of it on your cheekbones with your fingers. Apparently mixing it in with your bb cream or moisturizer will give you a subtle glow, which I want to try. I also haven't worn it for very long, so I can't say how long it lasts. I love this highlighter, and I do not see a reason to buy one of the more expensive versions!
