Most Helpful Positive Review WOW!!!!!!!!!!
I love this origins night cream!! My skin is combo/dry in the Winter, combo/oily in the Summer. I always need an extra boost of hydration in the winter time due to my skin becoming so dry. This provided long lasting hydration and then some. The first time I put it on it did bother my eyes a little because of the orange cream scent. I usually don't like fragrant face products. Its not overly overwhelming but the scent is there. It smells good but just a little strong upon initial use. The second night I used it it wasn't as bad and less bothersome. I had a little texture on my cheeks that this cream cleared up. I also had hyperpigmentation marks and a few blemish marks that this cream cleared up. I don't know what magic is in this bottle but I love it. I usually use rosehip oil nightly to fade dark marks. I have been using it for a couple of years. I've been using this cream for only two weeks and have seen better results with this as far as fading any Imperfections. I also have skin that breaks out from certain ingredients and this didn't break me out. This has made my skin very smooth, bright and glowing. This night cream has even made some of my more matte foundations that were looking too dry on my skin look better. Its as if it provides hydration the following day as well. This has become my favorite night moisturizer and of course I will continue to buy it because its worth it!!!!!!!!!!1
Most Helpful Critical Review It only has Vit. C ESTER & vit.E, WHY the NAME NIT-A-MINS?
I got this because I was sure it would have at least what I look for in the 1oz $12 serums that do have, basically at least the MOST IMPORTANT VITAMINS for your skin.. which are vitamin A, B3 (AKA niacinamide), and not a weakened vitamin C Ester.. but a real version of VITAMIN C!
I know a ton about skincare, more than most regular Physicians- and except for her how to prescribe- a lot even as some dermatologists would compare.
I don't understand why this is called "nite-a-mins", as I normally check out the ingredients before I even look at a product.. much less purchase it, and I thought that there was REAL VITAMIN C..not just a weakened, not worth the ingredient version called vitamin C Ester, which doesn't really have any science behind it as far as results, compared to real vitamin C..and then your only other vitamin is the cheapest ingredient ever, vitamin E.. Vitamin E is in EVERYTHING..+ your skin already makes it..?
Why can you not put the 3 MOST IMPORTANT VITAMINS IN.. along with the lactic + salicylic acid?
I love the way it feels on my skin, because I lean oily, but as far as the ingredients, they are very weak, (basically the ginzing moisturizer with added lactic acid)..so 2 whole AHA's..WEAK- advertised as AHA'S- as in multiple AHA's..like I would have thought several.. not only 2!
This ingredient list has nothing extra that matters, different from the ginzing moisturizer except for 1- which is lactic acid. I MUCH PREFER THE PAULA'S CHOICE ANTIOXIDANT PURIFIER w/SALICYLIC ACID.. to this now.
*Just compare ingredients lists. Hers is very similar to your ginzing, but is much better! For the prices you charge, I'm sticking with hers. You've lost a BIG SKINCARE customer. As I said, I love how lightweight it is, and most of your products are, but the PC is very similar to your gel moisturizer except it is better. The night a mins is disappointing because
PRODUCT NAME is MISREPRESENTING what is IN THE PRODUCT- BAIT & SWITCH / FALSE ADVERTISING!

I have a dry and dull skin. Ever since I used this cream, my skin has softened and revived. This isn't just a feeling, It is also noticed by a second eye. There were also a few blemishes, they are no longer on my face! I think my face is in love with this cream.
Not as good as the other Night-a-mins
Doris from San Antonio, TX
Ordered this one instead of my usual (with oil?!) by mistake. Definitely not as moisturizing. Won't make that mistake again. I suppose if you have oily skin it would be good.
Nicky73 from Dallas, TX
I use this product every night. I made a mistake and bought the oil free one by accident, but still not too bad. It is definitely for those with combo or oily skin types. I still liked the non greasy feeling.. I am very dry, mature skin so the cream base one is best for me. It has a light fragrance that is very pleasant too. Love it!
Abrosal from Indiana
I have combination skin slightly more on the dry side. My skin has never been problematic until a few years ago when I started to get little red bumps on my forehead. I thought it was fungal acne at first, but none of the typical/suggested treatments for that worked. I tried Night a Mins after watching a Youtuber's skincare routine and she stated she had similar skin issues, and that this was helpful. And I am so glad I did! Almost overnight the bumps were gone! I personally also really like the thickness of the oil version, as don't mind the citrus-y smell though I usually prefer non-scented products. I have had zero issues with the product itself, though I DO take issue with Ulta charging more for this product than other places--shady.
Horrible, bring back the oil!
Abiss9 from Illinois
This cream clogged my pores and caused my skin to break out. I kept using it to see if my skin just needed to get used to it but it just made my face look worse over time. I used to use the night a mins oil and I absolutely loved it. It made my skin so soft and cleared up my acne. I am so sad it is now discontinued and is replaced by this cream. Bring back the oil!!!!
SarahAS from Northern Colorado
I use this product nightly and it has improved the overall look of my skin. My skins looks refreshed and renewed in the morning. I'm convinced that it has helped reduce the appearance of some scarring. The fragrance is one of my favorite from Origins. It does have a thick consistency so I apply a minimal layer on my face after using Checks and Balances, the Mega Mushroom toner and the Plantscription Serum.
Return to this again and again
Awdwee from Ireland
I was first recommended this moisturiser at an Origins counter five or so years ago and it is the first product that I saw an immediate result from. Each time I repurchase it after trying something else I see an improvement and wonder why I ever stopped. I genuinely look forward to my night time skin routine because I love the scent and know that it's going to do me good. I wake up with soft, dewy skin. It's a miracle worker!
Please, please bring back the old formula
Sara80 from California
This formula doesn't work good! Read through your customers comments, Origins! The people are telling you that they want the old formulation. It's really simple. Old formulation back in stock rotation = money. You lost money from me definitely since you changed formula's and no I don't want anything else. I would respectfully request that you listen to your customers. Bring back the old Night A Mins. Please!
The best night cream
YourFriendlyBiochemist from Colorado
This is by far the best nightcream made by origins. I have used this every night for three years. I am still getting compliments on my skin. People assume I have some crazy nighttime ritual that only a biochemist could conjure... i just did my homework and researched the ingredients I wanted in my skincare. This is a great moisturizer that simply works. So, if you are on the fence but not sure if it will do what it claims-- it does.
my go to for my acne prone skin!!
jazzyb12 from Charlotte
I am in my late 20's and I have hormonal acne, pores, and. blackheads. I got a sample of this and I instantly loved it! I have purchased this 4 to 5 times now and I keep going back to this. it clears my skin and evens out my texture.
Go back to the old formulation!!!!
E34 from New York
Most reviews pointly underscore how the OLD FORMULATION of Night-a-Mins is so much better and should be returned to your offerings. This new Night-a-Mins is adequate, but the old one was perfect for my skin (and, it seem, for so many others). Why are you being so obstinate?????
Changed for the worst
pbjess from San Diego, CA
Over a year ago, I was looking for a moisturizer that can hydrate my skin but not make it oily and clog my pores. An associate from my local store recommended this to me and I loved this product so much I switched most of my skincare to Origins and recommended this to everyone around me. However, after making an online order recently (which took over 2 weeks to ship without any warnings or notices), I'm so frustrated at how the formula changed for the worst. I used to have plump, hydrated looking skin in the morning when I applied this at night. After using the last batch I've been breaking out all over my face and I have a huge cystic acne on my left side of my face that is so painful and big, and I NEVER had this problem before. The cream used to be light and semi-transparent but now it's a thick, heavy, oily white cream that I've wasted my money on.
Liz from Houston TX
I have very fair, delicate skin and this is too thick and doesn't really absorb. I much preferred the Night-A-Mins serum, which unfortunately has been discontinued.
Yvonne from Houston, TX
I first used this as a sample, but I am now on my third jar. I'm 42 and I wake up with a refreshed, bright, youthful complexion. I initially used it daily for about three weeks and now I use it once or twice a week. Can't go without it!
Old formula was perfect
Halie from Minneapolis, MN
I was a huge fan of High Potency Night-A-Mins for many years until I started to notice with the latest repackage that I was getting little breakouts from it all over! Looked back at the ingredients on the box and realized it now has dimethicone, among other silicones and unnecessary additives that were not in the original formula I fell in love with. I used to really believe in Origins as an innovative, more earth-friendly brand...but I figure with the number of tiny plastic samples they give out now both online and in store and the switch to such cheap cosmetic ingredients, that Origins is more concerned with profit over the integrity of their products and sticking to the original mission of the brand. Green-washing? It's up to you to decide.
Great for me
Alex from Wisconsin
I have very oily skin, with some exceptions of dryness in my cheeks and chin. I purchased this product in combination with The Ordinary zinc serum. Both of these did wonders to my skin. I woke up with skin that wasn't oily - for the first time in YEARS! My pores began to disappear, and my skin felt so smooth and looked bright. However, if I used The Ordinary serum too often in combination with this at night, I dry out in my cheeks and begin to get a burn, so I learned to alternate my serum and only apply during mornings. Overall, this did wonders for me!
Night cream of my dreams..
krust from Los Angeles
I've been curious about Origins products for a long time and received a gift set of sample/travel-sized products this past Christmas. This mini was included and I cherished every last drop.
Okay, this was in fact the first ever night cream I've tried. I never found it necessary to add another product to my minimal skincare routine, like do I really need to add a special moisturizer JUST for nighttime? Well, jokes on me because I don't want to live without this product. Smells really good, and the tiniest amount is good enough for my face and neck. When I wake up in the morning my face feels like butter in the best way possible!! I cleanse my skin at night with the Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash and follow with this after or right before bed.
Ultimately, highly recommend.
I cannot say enough

I cannot say enough about this cream. I was originally a bit worried that it would be too thick and heavy for my skin but it was not. I was so sad to use the last of it recently and I will buy it again. It's super moisturizing without clogging my pores or causing any irritation. It's a light, natural scent that leaves my skin feeling great and not greasy at all in the morning. Get some!

I love that this moisturizer helps to soften skin by its use of AHAs which help to remove that dead skin from my face; saw a brighter complexion which was great.

Love the thickness and smoothness of this product. Leaves my skin glowing and feeling clean and moisturized the whole night. Also, a little goes a long way so it definitely lasts! Although it's a little pricey, I think it's totally and completely worth it.

Very rich cream that feels silky to the touch. It seems to make the skin smooth without feeling greasy. Not sure about the long term benefits as it contains AHAs to resurface the skin but is a nice PM moisturizer.

this product will be my holy grail night cream. i sampled this a few years ago and was hooked instantly. i have problems with scarring and discoloration from acne marks and i swear i noticed a difference the next morning. my skin just looked more bright. i'm not sure if it actually benefits my skin as much as i think it does, but every time i wake up after a night of using this, i feel like my skin looks and feels better than the day before. if you don't see a difference in your skin overnight, i'd definitely test the product out for at least a week to two weeks. as long as you're consistent with applying it nightly, you should see a change in your skin
This is my go-to
member235b91 from United States
This is my go-to night moisturizer. I use it every other night as while I think my skin can tolerate the AHAs, I want to be careful. It is heavy in a good way and does not clog pores. My skin is super smooth when I wake up. Sometimes, there is still a bit of a film from this product on my face in the morning, but I can just rinse it off when I wash my face and then it's not a problem. I love this moisturizer, it is a great deal for the price and has left my sensitive skin happy.

jessjaxbeach from Jax Bch, FL
A very thick and moisturizing night cream. Great smell. Not only does it moisturize, it also gently exfoliates over time. You will wake up with plump, dewy, moisturized skin.
I have tried both
taylerbur from Burlington, ON
I have tried both this and the oil free version. This is more hydrating than that one and does not cause any breakouts. It is very moisturizing but doesn't sink into skin fast. It has AHAs so it does kinda burn when it's on and if I'm having a more sensitive skin day it hurts to a point where I'm having to fan my face. I feel like when I wake up I'm more glowy when I use this cream.
