Most Helpful Positive Review Dark Circle Miracle I have the work, brownest, hereditary dark circles. There's nothing to do for them, and to make it worse the skin under my eyes is really dry and crepe-y, so thick concealers look awful. The peach beige color is PERFECT color to counteract my BROWN circles (skintone: MUFE ultra HD invisible cover foundation R250/R260), and the pink beige is perfect as a highlighting concealer. I've been looking for these colors in a thin and hydrating formula for years!! Highly recommend. SO HYDRATING.
Most Helpful Critical Review Didn't work for me I purchased this for use under my eyes. I bought the lightest shade but still the pigmentation was a much darker pink than the pink corrector I bought from Essence last year (non CBD formulation). I have very fair skin and the formulation from last year was the perfect shade. Also, when I applied this new formulation I found it much more drying and patchy which was contrary to what I thought it would be with the addition of the cbd oil. It might work for you if you have a darker skin tone and a more oily complexion

Lies nicely on my skin and definitely brightens. Layered concealer on top and didn't look cakey.
You Get What You Pay For... 3

I'm not above trying cheap beauty products. And when I try them I'm fair about reviewing them as many are not.
First off, I've used numerous other Essence products, and I give credit where credit is due... I've loved some and lost some...
Now let's take a look at this "Brightening Concealer "
First, if you're an avid makeup lover, you know that concealer and brightener are two different items that perform two different functions.
Having said that, this product cost $5. So yeah, you'll get your $5 worth within 5 uses.
Do you get what I'm saying???
If you wish to look flawless, be willing to pay a flawless price.
This concealer doesn't brighten . It has deep and noticeable peach undertones which is mediocre at best.
Would I chose to use this? No. Would I use it if I were on a strict budget? Yes. Would I tell by bestie about it? No. Would I pay $5 for it and then take the time to write a scathing review? No.
It's ok. It will do the job. But it's not extraordinary even for $5.
instantly look awake!! 5

Essence was having a sale & I came across this concealer so decided to try it. And I'm so glad I did!!! I use it in the mornings before my zoom meetings, I love how it instantly makes me look more awake. I then use the banana powder from essence to set the concealer. Give this a try! I have more olive toned skin & I use the pink concealer

Love the highlight and coverage it gives me! Glad I bought it out of curiosity because I love it!
Love 5

Love this product! The texture is smooth and goes on easily. It covers and brightens well. It says "buildable coverage" but I didn't really find that to be the case. Either way, awesome product!
My new holy grail! 5

I use this everyday- whether it's alone for a quick pick me up or layered in between my foundation and finishing powder- I love how buildable it is. I've already repurchased twice.

good for the price 4

I'm very fair but have very dark under eyes, if I let this sit for a few seconds to dry a little on the darkest parts it does amazing. could be more pigmented but for the price works great.
Dupe for Trish McEvoy Instant Eye Lift 4
PDXagogo from Portland, OR
I have been looking for a dupe for the Trish McEvoy Instant Eye Lift. Although this is slightly thinner, I am impressed the color and performance is so similar and worked better than expected! Worth a try!
Definitely Brightens 4

I use this product under my eyes to combat dark circles. I am extremely fair so I use the rosè beige color. It definitely brightens my under eye area, but I have to give it a few layers to really have full coverage. I use the corner of my beauty blender to blend it with the rest of my foundation then set it with translucent powder and it looks great throughout the day!
Nothing great 2

This concealer is very thin, sort of a watery formula. If you're looking for a lower coverage color corrector this may work.
I like it better than Becca 5

This product went on really smooth and blended perfectly. I wore it alone without setting it and it dried down pretty nicely. It make my under eyes look SO MUCH BETTER.
Yes the product contains phenoxyethanol but so do HUNDREDS of other skincare and makeup products so the review below freaking out and copy/pasting things from google needs to calm down.
Love this! 5

I have naturally dark circles all the time. This color corrector is so hydrating and light. It doesn't sink into my fine lines at all and my under eyes feel dewy and natural all day. Needed to apply two coats to get full coverage and color correction, but for the price this is an amazing product. Will buy over and over.

ZERO STARS!!
Contains Phenoxyethanol!!
This ingredient can be harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through skin, especially to nursing mothers or infants. ... It irritates skin and eyes, and can cause blistering on skin as well.
I do NOT recommend this item!! Spend a little more for a safer product!!
But of course...it's up to you. 🤷🏼♀️
P.S.
Stay safe & ALWAYS look at the ingredient list!! 🙂
