I really missed the essence of subtle scents on my skin. Recently I started sampling various fragrances to see which notes appealed to me without inducing a migraine. I received Burberrys newest perfume Her London Dream. It was love at first spray. Her London Dream is an amazing perfume that combines two of my favorite scent profiles, floral (roses and peony) and citrus (lemon). It agrees with my body chemistry and expresses my individuality. First smell embodies a youthfulness, modern yet romantic dream like moment that lingers for hours. It was relaxing. I applied the perfume to my wrists and neck. I could still smell remnants of the fragrance well into the evening. I didnt do any vigorous activity while wearing Her London Dream so I dont know how perspiration effects the perfumes chemistry or longevity. My husband really enjoyed the scent. It didnt overpower a room as I entered it and it didnt linger when I left the room. As the day continued I could smell a powdery freshness that was cozy. This scent is light and refreshing which I think makes it great for year round. I would definitely recommend sampling this perfume to see if youre a match for each other. I used the sample vial a few times to know that Burberry Her London Dream is a perfume I want to add to my collection. I like that the scent makes me smile while taking me to a comfortable, happy place.Most Helpful Critical ReviewInteresting scents but too soft and lasts only twoA soft lemon with ginger gives Burberry London Dream almost a lemon tea scent as a top scent but then as the lemon stops being as overpowering, the floral peony also comes out to play and gives this a more feminine appeal. The opening with the ginger is a soft almost gender neutral but pleasant fresh scent. Within about 2 minutes the ginger fades to the background and a very light citrus mixes witha tiny bit of floral peony, but it is almost powder soft with a hint of amber. Thesillageis poor. I asked someone if she could smell anything about 10 minutes after I put it on and standing next tomeshe didnt notice anything. I could still smell it where I sprayed after an hour, but after two hours it was so faint with my nose next to my skin. For those who liked Burberry Her Blossom, this is quite different. Instead of a bright floral mandarin scent, this is a softer scent with lemon lasting the longest, but ginger mixing with the floral gives it a very light but spicy floral underneath the lemon. Iactually likedthisscentbut I wish it was had greatersillageand longevity. Its not going to replace any of my favorites but compared to all the run of the mill floral citrus scents, this has an oriental aspect with ginger, which is an enjoyable note I see more in unisex perfumes.
