Most Helpful Positive Review Fine curly hair I am a caucasian with wavy to curly fine hair. My hair is fine, but I have a lot of it. I place foam mouse at roots (AG is preferred) and run to ends. I then use a small amount of serum to add shine and control frizz. Then I turn head upside down and spray this while my hair is still wet. That's right. Still wet. I scrunch my hair and use my diffuser just scrunching curls one time and sitting them in diffuser bowl with head upside down with fingers between diffuser and scalp using fingers to control root lift and direction (paybattention to hairline and dry in opposite direction you part for more volume). Let sit for 30 seconds bring diffuser straight down. Repeat on other side and and go back and forth until dry. Then look upwards to the heavens and place diffuser at nap and back of head and repeat above directions. Give tossled hair one first al spray on hair. My hair gets so many compliments doing this. Hope it helps girls like me out
Most Helpful Critical Review Works, but smells awful! It works fine, but I liked L'Oréal Professionnel
Tecni.Art Wild Stylers Next Day Hair Texturizing Spray more. Ulta didn't have that in stock so I tried this. The smell is like flowers and... Popcorn? Some say mildew, and that isn't far off either. Don't know if this is a bad batch, because some say it smells great. What I have smells very strange for a hair product.

Like the other reviews, I can barely comment on product performance because the scent is so overwhelming. It smells like a type of skunk scent!! Seriously! So many sexy hair products are my HG, but this seriously misses the mark. Will NOT be rebuying!

I was excited to try this as I do not like heavy hairsprays at all.... I always use the Big Sexy dry wax. I thought I should give this a try. Never again I cannot stand the smell and it is so strong!
Best texture spray 5

I've tried all the brands. This one blew me away. It's perfect and adds volume to my mostly flat hair. I curl with the babyliss prima and spray then ginger through and bam beachy waves. Perfect product.

Works great, smells awful 5

I have very fine hair and this spray works great to give it enough texture and hold through the day to keep curl and volume.
I didn't take off a star for the smell because it works so we'll, but I have to hold my breath and use a finishing spray to get rid of the smell. It's like a combination of mildewed milk and old socks, which is weird because everything else from this line smells great.

I like it! 4

I spray this on after using a curling iron, and allow it to dry while my waves are cooling. It provides a light hold and texture before using finishing spray. It doesn't leave residue like some others I've tried.
The product will hold your hair style all day 5

I have straight hair and need body. Surfrider has a powder element to it which is popular now. The advantage is that Surfrider is sprays and is easier to work in closer to the roots, It is also very light and can be used again the same day and doesn't make my sticky
Wanted to love, but... 3

I love and use a lot of the Sexy Hair line of products for my hair and have been trying to find one to replace the one I used to use but was discontinued, so I thought something by this brand would be a perfect match. This was a disappointment for my short hair. I could see it possibly working better with longer styles but it did nothing for my hair except make it smell amazing. I noticed no texture at all anywhere it was sprayed and the volume was nothing to write home about.
I will buy again and again... 5

So glad I found this product. I have very fine hair. On days that I wash, my hair has no oomph - it's too soft, limp, and slips out if I try to put it up. This product gives me great texture, body, and grip for my fine hair. It smells great and I will continue to use again and again!
LOVE IT! 5

love the smell and the light weight of this product for me thin hair. I have found that I love this paired with my batiste for dark hair is a dream!!! it does leave your roots a little stiff but nothing that will make me put the product down!!!
