Most Helpful Positive Review BEST VANILLA FRAGRANCE EVER! This is the BEST vanilla fragrance that you will EVER wear! I got the rollerball to try it out cause that was all that was sold in my local Ulta and went and bought the full size online the very same day!! It is a pure vanilla fragrance so you can use it to compliment other body sprays for an extra added vanilla touch. A few of my favorites that I like to pair it with is Vanilla Bean Noel from Bath and Body Works, Warm Vanilla Sugar from Bath and Body Works and Almond and Vanilla from Bath and Body Works. If you are wondering what type of Vanilla it smells like, it reminds me of a vanilla extract scent but not a little girl scent. This one is definitely a womanly sexy type of smell! I get compliments every single day that I wear it and it lasts ALL DAY LONG! definitely my signature fragrance now! I absolutely love it! The only complaint that I have is that the big spray bottle is not sold at any stores near me so I have to order it off of online!
Most Helpful Critical Review Not Much Vanilla To It... Let me preface this with my preferences: I've always been very partial to fruity + sweet scents, but I like switching it up and can appreciate a wide variety of formulas - from spicy, to warm, to fresh, to subtle, etc. I'm *almost* obsessed with vanilla, mostly. [eating or smelling it !] But I have my limits with it. I also can't stand many powdery and super floral smells in most formats of products.
I can't detect much vanilla - be it the raw + pure kind, or the sugary + cheap kind - at all in this fragrance... I have to really look for it every time I smell it. [on my clothes, from the container, or even on my skin] I can imagine the characteristics being there, so I use it to layer with others that can run a bit powdery to 'warm' them up a little. But on its own, it seems the vanilla + warmth is overtaken by something else in the formula that makes it much more sharply musky, much like an essential oil. Like when yu accidentally whiff in too much of an essential oil and yu get that sharp, identifying characteristic they all seem to share, I feel like that's what I'm having a hard time getting through and it's so concentrated that it never settles and it takes on an almost 'potpourri'-style-scented cheap soap, carried by rubbing alcohol.
But that's just me and my senses, and I can see how it'd be appreciated by others that probably wouldn't detect what I do. It sounded like a great sophisticated vanilla, unfortunately not for me.

I bought this on a whim because I've always enjoyed fragrances with vanilla in them and my Ulta carries the roller ball version. Im now super disappointed that they don't carry the full size in store because I take this one with me everywhere. I don't know if its just my body chemistry but when I first put it on, its pretty soft but within 10 minutes it becomes slightly stronger and lasts all day on me. Iv'e never had a fragrance last more than a couple hours so Im super impressed!

One star for the fact that it's a healthy fragrance with great safe ingredients, and another because of how affordable it is but the amount of heliotrope is overwhelming. There is a tiny bit of warmth to it which I see why people love it because depending on your body chemistry that vanilla will stand out more. Now on me as it dried down I got the tonka bean and Madagascar vanilla but the heliotrope made the perfume less warm and more sharp. To me it smells like a large bouquet of heliotrope sprinkled with vanilla. It also didn't last long anywhere I sprayed it despite it smelling very loud in the beginning. It lasted 1hr on my skin and my clothing before it became a skin scent that you have to dig your nose in to smell. No one could really smell it on me after 3 hrs. I would definitely test this out first before buying as it may not work for your body chemistry.

Not sure why this has a lot of negative reviews. I have been wearing this fragrance for years and always receive compliments when I do wear it. I switched to the rollerball since the larger bottle is expensive and I would go through it really quickly. Vanilla is one of my favorite scents. This has a musky scent to it but it melds to your body and creates a delicious sweet vanilla yet is not overpowering. A little goes a long way with the rollerball and it's perfect for traveling with.
If you are looking for a vanilla that isn't artificial and is more earthy and delicious, I would recommend this. It isn't bakery sweet but it's still amazing.

I use this product everyday and I always get compliments! It's my favorite and lasts all day for not having chemicals! A little goes a long way, the roller ball lasts me for months because I only have to dab once or twice. Trust me, you need this.

This smells terrible. I wanted to love it, but it smells like cheap public toilet air freshener! Multiple people I tried to give this too agreed and wouldn't take it either. Bummer.

Someone in another comment said this smells like the original skin so soft stuff their mom used growing up, and it literally does. It smells like skin so soft meets bug spray with a dash of weird vanilla. I LOVE vanilla and this was TERRIBLE. Also my first roller ball bottle I bought was EMPTY with no ball and I returned it for this):

So strong. I have to use the tiniest amount (only dotting it on once) or it is nauseating. doesn't smell like vanilla, smells more musk-y than anything else

Ok. Truth be told, I love all things vanilla so obviously I'm going to be a fan of this scent. It's definitely vanilla. Sort of "powdery" (hope that makes sense). Soft and subtle. I love it. Just wished it lasted longer

This goes well as a base to most fragrances to provide that signature scent.
I pair this with most of my fragrances or wear alone. It smells heavenly and I always receive compliments when I wear it.
It lasts a fairly good amount of time for an EDP.
I use this with the Ulta almond oil and it is luxurious.

Alright product and packaging but the scent is odd. It doesn't smell like fresh vanilla or vanilla flowers, it smells like a heavy vanilla candle for your living room. So it doesn't smell awful but it smells strange on the skin. My family members didn't appreciate the scent either

I fell in love with a sample of a ridiculously expensive vanilla perfume and have been searching for something close that won't break the bank. This perfume is it! It smells just like vanilla bean and tonka, and I love that it is "clean" as well. It doesn't have the "old lady effect" others were describing with me luckily, and I definitely plan on buying it again.

For me, this is my ideal scent. It's sort of homey, but in such a good way. It definitely catches attention, but is not overbearing. Basically, no one would be unhappy catching a whiff of you with this on. It's a warm vanilla scent that is not too overpowering and I have already gotten compliments on it. Love it!

Every time I wear this someone compliments me on how good I smell- without fail. It's so simple yet so amazing at the same time! Smells kind of like vanilla extract, so less cookie like and more like actual vanilla. I own every scent in this line but this one is my favorite.

I was given this as a gift from my sister who knows how much I love vanilla, and I love it. It is strong when first applied, but mellows out to a warm vanilla scent. This isn't Vanilla Fields (no thanks) it's much warmer of a scent and not over powering. Can definitely be used to enhance other vanilla products.

I wanted to love this, because I am searching for a cruelty-free perfume and I like vanilla. It was just too musky. Even with the rollerball, it stayed on for a very long time. But the scent was a little "old and musky" for me.
