Nope

By Macmar

from WA

Comments about Physicians Formula The Healthy Foundation SPF 20:

This looked pretty on the skin initially, but it settled badly into my smile lines less than an hour after I finished my makeup. I tried baking and everything and I couldn't make it better. Also I'm not a fan of the applicator since I have to mix the foundation to make it lighter. I even have dry skin, so I'd avoid this foundation if you have any lines.

MY NEW FAV FOUNDATION

By Aubrey

from AZ

Comments about Physicians Formula The Healthy Foundation SPF 20:

This foundation lasts all day on me!! I have combination skin, more on the dry side and struggle with my foundation wearing off around my chin and nose and getting reaalll oily and wearing off after only a few hours BUT that doesn't happen with this foundation! It makes my skin look healthy, doesn't make me dry or oily and lasts all freaking day. This is bomb and I highly recommend.

Good product!

Comments about Physicians Formula The Healthy Foundation SPF 20:

I have combination skin and very sensitive skin. This product is not too heavy and still covers all of my imperfections. It does not irritate my skin at all, and it is one of the few foundations that actually matches my skin!! Definitely repurchasing!

Surprisingly it works incredibly well on my super oily skin and is the only foundation that's ever been able to stay looking perfectly fresh after being on all day. It's easy to apply with the brush applicator and I like it for everyday use. It looks beautiful and natural and with so many added benefits it's definitely becoming my #1!

    Love it!

    By rvtprincess

Comments about Physicians Formula The Healthy Foundation SPF 20:

I used to hate foundations. This has become one of my holy grail foundations. I have normal to dry skin
I am light skinned with cool to neutral undertones. I bought LN4 and it looks so good, not ashy at all like some neutrals do. I mix in a little of MC1 when I'm more tan, like now that its summer. It looks so skin like and looks good all day. Never accentuates my pores. Feels lightweight. I actually love the big doe foot applicator.

This was an epic fail for me.

    About Me Brand Buyer

    Pros

      Cons

      • Oh that nasty smell!
      • Sticky glue-textured skin after application.
      • The cool-toned color was too warm-toned.
      • The smell doesn't go away, even after two washes

      Best Uses

Comments about Physicians Formula The Healthy Foundation SPF 20:

The smell was so bothersome that after only a minute of having this on my face, I had to go wash it off. The problem is, even after two face washings, the smell will NOT go away. It's still on my skin. I used a Garnier face wash the first time, and a Merle Norman face wash the second time.

My face feels like sticky glue with this product on my skin. The Garnier face wash did not get rid of the sticky residue, but after the second wash with Merle Norman, the stickiness was reduced but not completely gone.

After washing this off my face, my face was red and blotchy as if I had an allergic reaction to the product.

The cool-toned color was too warm-toned. Epic fail...this product is going back. I'll stay with Lancome and Cover Girl. Loreal Infallible pro-glow and total cover made my skin look old and accented wrinkles. Neutrogena Healthy Skin was another fail...like putting grease on your face, and Neutrogena Hydro Boost was great except the silicone caused clogged pores and large pimples after using so I had to give that up.

Comments about Physicians Formula The Healthy Foundation SPF 20:

I purchased this months ago & have fallen in love with it! I love that it has sunscreen in it. I suffer with acne and found that this foundation doesnt increase my breakouts or texture. I found that my acne scars have lightened a little as well! Applies well with a brush for a fuller cocerage & lasts long

Comments about Physicians Formula The Healthy Foundation SPF 20:

I'm really, really enjoying this foundation. I feel like it allows my skin to breathe and gives a natural beauty. I apply it with a brush and it goes on easily. It isn't full coverage, while it may cover redness or light discoloration it's not covering moles or dark beauty marks. I do not like the initial scent, almost like a paint smell. And the color range is very limited, even the darker shades are not that deep and they are very cool toned. No tan warmth here. I warm mine up with custom drops.

My skin dries out and flakes really easily, but this has been one of the few foundations I've tried that does NOT dry me out (other than NARS, but it's $57 ). Best bang for your buck!

          Not a fan

          By Macmar

          from Puyallup

Comments about Physicians Formula The Healthy Foundation SPF 20:

I really wanted to love this foundation, and there were things I liked about it, but overall I'm just not a fan. For reference, I have normal to dry skin at the moment and some acne and texture. It went on really nicely, but I found that it oxidized a bit, and after less than 2 hours would start creasing around my mouth! I have never had a foundation crease that quickly. It also didn't hold up well and transferred very easily. I did like how it looked initially upon application though, I felt like it didn't emphasize texture and had good coverage. But lasting power is just too important to me, so I'll be returning this.
