Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

10 months ago I used Splat bleach and blue hair dye (I was broke at the time), 2 months later i retouched it, 6 months in it had faded almost completely to a light blonde with a slight green tint. I dyed over that with a burgundy red and didn't like it, about a month later I dyed it bright red (using Splat again, without the bleach), another month in I used Arctic Fox to color it red to orange from my roots to my tips. Keep in mind that this does not remove direct dyes like Artic Fox and Ion colors. I followed the directions, and it removed the portions of my bleached hair, (I only bleached my hair once throughout the process). Now my hair still has bright red -that dulled a little thanks to Color Oops- near the roots, and a strawberry blonde at the tips. I'm not sure why it removed most of the color at my bleached portions, but thats probably more my fault than the products. It is time consuming, taking 20 minutes to develop, and then 40 just to rinse according to directions. It's cheap and does at least part of the job based on what dye you used, how many times you've dyed it etc. Before and after pictures attached.

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

It was easy to use it does smell but it isn't unbearable it didn't take me back to my natural dark brown but my hair had a deep red Hugh to it and it did lighten it enough to dye it brown I think this product is meant for blonde to light brown hair. I have mixed feelings if I would recommend it just always have hair dye ready it may help remove old color but it is not a one stop fix

      worked amazing!!

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

I used this to get red hair dye out of my naturally blonde hair and it took about 90% of the color out! I'm not complaining that it didn't do a PERFECT job of getting all the dye out, but my hair is now a beautiful blonde/golden/pink like a rose gold! Only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the smell is terribly strong & had me feeling a little too good breathing in those fumes!

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

I have naturally dirty-blond hair that I'd been dying ginger. Wanting to try a different color and being indecisive I decided to try color oops to rid myself of as much built up dye as I could....which I guess technically it did.

But it turned my hair chicken yellow.

My hair texture looks much drier and has a strange feeling as if somethings coating it, even after several washes to ensure all of the product is out. The smell is still stuck in my hair and rubbed off on my pillowcases. The product even irritated my skin as I washing it out in the shower and product dripped down my face.

Definitely wouldn't recommend to anyone, it will damage your hair and be way worse than whatever color mishap you've got going already.

I bought this to remove the hair color the stylist put in. She had dyed it way to golden brown which has turned it orangy. This did nothing but make it even more orange and my natural hair is a neutral brown. Thanks color oops

smells awful and turned my hair orange

              By a friend

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

the first thing I noticed was the smell, I can't explain it but it's just plain awful. I washed my hair 7 times after using and it still smelled like the product. I had followed the directions exactly and my hair turned orange I stead of back to blonde there were also still green pieces left in my hair from when I dyed it blue. I only recommend using this product if you are re dying your hair the same day.

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

I used this product to remove a dark brown color from my hair. The reviews on it were good so I was excited to try. My hair had not been colored for 3 months before this use. Typically when I die my hair I'll start to see a difference before I'm even finished applying all of the dye. However, during the application and then the 45 minutes waiting period my hair did not lighten even one shade. It's stikk dark brown. The color of my hair looks no different but the feel of it feels like I just bleached it 5 times. Don't buy this product. It's a waste of money.
