Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

Works really well! I usually add heat, a hair dryer to speed up the process! I've used it numerous times. I ALWAYS use a deep conditioner after. Recently I've been doing olaplex number 3 and it keeps it soft and shiny... The color oops can make you hair a bit damaged, but as long as you condition after you should be okay! Also, it has left my hair a little brassy after... rather than dying it, I put on a toner and I'm good to go!

The 1st time I used it, I tried it on a snipped piece of my hair. It took 45 minutes to remove permanent haircolor. When I used it on my head, my hair turned yellow orange. The 2nd time I tried it, I only left it on for 15 minutes or so. Didn't remove color. This time I am trying it on temp color. Lord only knows.

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

      THIS STUFF DEFINITELY WORKS!!!

I'm a natural blonde (think toe head) and have been getting highlights in my hair since my natural hair started to get darker around 12 years old. My normal color is platinum white and I constantly have to purple shampoo it.

Two month ago I decided to take the plunge I've been wanting to do for years and dye my hair red (a la Julianne Hough's most recent color). My stylist knocked it out of the park and I was instantly obsessed! However...it didn't last long. I realized that the tones and clothes that I wear don't go well with being a red head and on top of all of that, RED HAIR IS SOOOO HIGH MAINTENANCE. Low and behold, I called my stylist and said I wanted to go back to my gorgeous light blonde immediately. She started having me use a "clarifying shampoo" for about two weeks and I noticed that it was fading some of the color out, but definitely not making a significant difference. That's when I ran into Color Oops.

I was nervous to try this at first because I didn't know how it was going to react to the red tones in my hair, but OH MY GOODNESS it works wonders. It's not fully back to my natural blonde, as it has some brassiness to it, but after ONE session at the salon, I'll have my hair back!

Definitely read the instructions, but you can leave it on longer than 20 minutes; I did 30. RINSE RINSE RINSE, SHAMPOO SHAMPOO SHAMPOO, and last but not least DEEP CONDITION. You definitely need to rinse this for the total 20 minutes it tells you do to so. Make the water as hot as you can stand and just stand under the stream while you shampoo out the product. I shampooed 5 times total and conditioned 2 times before getting out and blow drying my hair to see the final result. It does smell a little bit, and does get stronger as you wait it out, but it's not terrible.

This product alone, in my opinion, won't get you exactly back to your previous color, but it strips out most of it and with ONE trip to the salon, you should be good to go!

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

I normally don't write reviews, but this stuff deserves a review. I dyed my hair and it came out vibrant red. Not at all what the box showed! It was absolutely horrible. I couldn't take time off of work to go to a salon and get it fixed fast enough so I NDA this product hoping it would help dull the red until I could get it fixed properly. The results are absolutely amazing though. There is no trace of red left in my hair at all, actually pretty sure this stuff removed years worth of leftover color. It does require you to rinse your hair for an ungodly amount of time which I failed to have the patience for so I didn't get all of the smell out. Other than that my hair is better than before I started this whole project.

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

I let my teenager dye my hair purple but it came out black. I have natural dark brown hair. The blue Black was too dark for me and I didn't have the money to pay nor did I want to have the salon use bleach on my hair. Instead I searched the internet and this product came up. I was skeptical but figured I could always go back to black if it turns my hair rusty or something weird. It was easy to use, smelled horrible but did exactly the job! You have to use a lot of shampoo to rinse out the old
Color and your hair feels harsh but it didn't damage my hair and it lightensy natural color to a medium brown hue and I am enjoying it so much, I decided not to re-dye. Which you can do the same day you use color oops! I recommend this to a novice box dyer or anyone in a pinch and need to correct their oops! I bought the extra strength for
Obvious reasons. It's pretty solid for the price and effect.

I bought this because I needed to remove the remaining red undertones out of my hair and this worked .. first time using it and I will if I ever do red again.. I do reccomend you do a little research on this (that's
What I did) before using it just so you get the result you want
Smells a little weird. Nothing too crazy tho

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

I had dyed my hair this beautiful burgundy shade about 4 months ago and loved it... at first. I'm getting ready to go on vacation and I just felt like my hair was too dark and it made me look sickly. I hated my hair and so after reading many many reviews I decided to try color oops. It worked so well! I'm naturally a ashy light brown shade and I'm a little warmed toned than I naturally am but it looks so natural and I couldn't be happier! I will warn you it smells a little bit like a boiled egg but it's really not that bad. My only complaint is that it takes a lot of rinsing and shampooing so my arms got tired. That being said I loved it!

          • Remove unexpected color results, in my case BLUE

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

Oops! Saved my week. I had colored my hair with a charcoal gray product. My hair is grey at the roots and had been colored red-brown for many years ( being my natural color in previous years) so the ends were absobant and the root was not. About 1 inch of hair (from roots) had turned powder blue and ends were charcoal gray! Although probably considered stylish to a younger woman it just felt too much for a business professional and grandma to wear. I used the "Oops" hair remover and it worked great. Just follow the directions. It not only removed the blue color it took away color build up from the absorbent ends and my hair even feels great.

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

I had highlights done like 6 months ago and I dyed my hair like 3 months ago because my highlighted had grown out. Well now that's it's summer I want to go back to being lighter lol I did this one my hair and my highlights came back! So worth it to me! My advice though don't use it so close to your roots and it does smell horrible.
