Most Helpful Positive Review Great Blush! It was down to this or Nars and I chose this blush. So glad I did! I'm an older woman and these cosmetics are geared for what I would consider younger women, but it works really well with my skin tone and I will be buying it again.
Most Helpful Critical Review Horrible Disappointment I was so excited to get this blush. It appears to be gorgeous. However the gold is not worked throughout the blush. So the first swipe takes off all the gold. Now youre left with one gold cheek. The pigmentation is awful. I swirled multiple brushes in it and it delivered so little payoff. Just buy Nars Orgasm.

This is just a joke. The gold shimmer I hoped for was just a top layer added for looks. It also has zero color pay off. I kept trying and each time there was nothing there. It looks pretty in pan but not on skin
Very pretty color but very sheer 4

This is a lot more of a sheer color than expected and it's not very buildable. It kind of works for me because I'm fairly pale and can use this as a minimal, everyday blush for a sheer wash of pink color. The finish is very pretty, not glittery but a little pearly. I use a big fluffy brush and that seems to work fairly well.
You have to work to get product applied 3

This blush has been the hardest blush I've ever had to get color out of. I could smudge my applicator around and around this blush while picking up such minimal color. It's kinda a workout. I love the color on my cheeks but it's annoying having to work that hard to get product on your brush. Other than that the color works well with my skin and the perfume smell it gives off is nice as well.
No pigmentation 2

I thought it was just me, but I felt better when other reviewers didn't get pigmentation either. The gold overlay is pretty and works as a highlighter for me, but once I got to the blush, I didn't get any color pay off. I tried using other brushes and using my finger, but the color was very light and could not build up. I definitely returned this one. I also have Dandelion and that seems lighter than Gold Rush, but it shows up on my light-medium, neutral-warm skin.
One star for misleading info 1
G from Coconuts
I was totally excited to try a shimmer & blush in one. But as some other reviews said, the gold is a top layer and is gone after the first use. This feels very misleading. I've continued using it for months and not it's getting hard to get product out.

Really nice blush, will purchase again.
It's okay, not great. and NOT GOLD 3
Bree from Columbia, SC
This product is only ok. I wasn't wowed by the formula or the color pay off. It's kind of hard to see. But my biggest problem with it is that it's called "Gold Rust" and it's not all that gold. To me, it's more like a mauve-y pink with gold shimmer, not gold pigment in the main portion of the formula, and I'm talking about the real pigment, not the weird gold overlay, which I also didn't like. I bought it looking for a warmer blush color and was disappointed. Returned.
Love it 5

I absolutely love this blush. A little goes a long way. The packaging is super cute too.
It's a bit light for me 3

But if I build it up, it works. Beautiful scent.
Too light for my skin tone 1

I asked for help finding a similar product as close to the product I was looking for (you had no more in stock of my product) The product I was recommended to try was completely off. Not happy with my purchase
Very Different from Benefit's Line 4
AlwaysBuyingMakeup27 from ABQ
There are two negatives I have to say about this Blush. One of them is the gold glitter overspray. While it looks pretty in the pan, I personally do not like the look of it on my cheeks. Thankfully, this does rub off after 2 uses. The other is that the mini and the full size ARE NOT the same color. The mini leans very orange in comparison to the full size, that leans way more pink.
This blush is in not the typical powder formula that Benefit has. It's a baked gelee formula, which not only tends to seal up if you finger-swatch this product... this also needs a stiffer brush to pick up product. While I like baked gelee products and the seamless blend they have, I absolutely understand all the negative reviews on this product's "lack of pigmentation." Soft, fluffy brushes have a hard time kicking up any product, which is typically what most people want when applying a cheek product to their face (especially if you have dry skin and don't want to exfoliate your face).
I still enjoy it despite the limitations it has. It's a very pretty peach-pink color, and lasts about 10 hours (even with a mask). It can be blended easily to a nice, wash of color (almost like watercolor), or built up to an intense sun-kissed flush.
Too Light 2
Krissy from Providence, RI
I would describe myself as light/medium skin tone with neutral or olive undertones and this just does NOT show up on me even when I'm not self tanned. I think this blush is only good for pale to fair skin tones nothing deeper than that because it just won't show up at all. Sad cause I actually loved the smell of it (smells don't bother me much but if they bother you don't buy this as it has a strong perfume scent). Just not for me and not worth the price.
Smells awful 2
Mid20sGal from Austin, TX
I have been using this for a few months, and I just cannot get used to the smell. I've never had such a fragranced blush in my life. I can still smell it several hours after initial application. The fragrance is not great either, it reminds me of baby powder.
Other criticisms: strong gold overspray and poor pigmentations.
I won't use anything else! 5
Amy O from Muncy, PA
I've been using this for approximately 3 years. Love it!!! It's a great blush but when I don't want to go crazy with eye makeup, I use a little on my lids to add a small pop of color. It's perfect!
Perfect summer blush 5
audrey from atlanta
This blush gives me the most beautiful summer flush and is a perfect peachy pink shade. I always feel so pretty and cute when I wear it. I'm not sure what all the complaints about pigmentation are about I think it has the perfect amount of pigment!
Favorite! 5
Nellebelle from California
I love this blush! It gives the perfect amount of natural looking color. I do use my own blush brush, it's just easier to handle than the small one that comes with it.

Great pigmentation. Will definitely purchase again and again. Highly recommended
Pink 4
Ivonne from Texas
This is cute! Has shimmer in it, but it just makes you look glowy. This is more for those with lighter skin tones. I have medium skin and it looks cute, but a bit bright.
Right amount of color 5
Sam from Vegas
I love this blush! It has just thr right amount of color (peachy) and shimmer. I originally had a sample of this and went through it so quickly I had to buy the bigger version. Benefit cosmetics please do not retire this color ever 😊 p.s. also smells so good.
Great Product and great colors.... 5
Suzwayne from Terrell TX
I use this to add warm color to my cheeks...love it and the color as well.
It's okay. 3
Ladyminpin from Victorville, ca
I'm just a tad bit disappointed. It has more of a pink hue than gold, not to mention, it smells funny. It's tolerable.
