This is my second time using this face wash. I like how there is no scent, but for some reason my face doesnt get the "clean" feeling afterwards. Going to continue using it to see how it goes for my acne!

Comments about Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser:

This is a great product if you don't wear makeup on a daily basis. I wear makeup every day to work and I go to the gym. I thought this product could take off the makeup and gym sweat but I was wrong. It took multiple washes plus face cleaner wipes for me to get everything off my face. This product doesn't have a fragrance, which is a bonus.

The daily cleanser is much better. Bought this one by mistake and wanted to give it a chance. It's just not the same clean.

Comments about Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser:

For those saying it contains alcohol they aren't bad alcohols like denatured or sd they are fatty alcohols so they are good for your skin! These alcohols are not drying. And the concern with Parabens, they are safe and I'd be more worried worried about new preservatives which haven't been around asking! And you need bacteria in your skin so you don't want to wash away all bacteria!! This is a bestseller and dermatologist recommended for a reason- no bells And whistles just simple, gentle cleansing!

I use to use tea tree face washer but over time it became too harsh on my skin would dry it out I got a free sample of this and omg I love this it cleaned up my skin in just a few days and I get dry flaky skin under my nose and this has helped with that as well. It's cleared my skin and has made it nicer even tone

Comments about Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser:

Firstly, this cleanser has almost a liquid lotion texture, and doesn't foam up or anything, and there's nothing wrong with that but I can tell straight away it isn't doing anything to help reduce the bacteria and grime on the skin. I have used this cleanser unfortunately, for about a year and really wished i would have switched. This product does absoutlely nothing to help rid the skin of bacteria, buildup or makeup, which in return results in acne. It contains NO acne fighting ingredients and contains alcohol. It's ironic how it's geared towards sensitive skin types and claims it's "gentle" when it contains alcohol, which completely stripes the skin of its good natural barriers and leaves you with dry flaky skin. I could go on and on but in short, this cleanser is ineffective and provides no benefits for the skin. Acne or not, this doesn't clean the skin, it strips it.

2 different types of alcohol and (3) different types of Parabens....are we still in the age of mis-information? Gross ingredients. I've never met anyone with clear skin who uses this to wash their face!

            Good so far

By Face so Sensitive Icant use all makeup:(

            from los angeles

Comments about Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser:

I have very sensitive skin and i try to keep my face as clean as possible with the least amount of harsh chemicals. I bought this in hopes of having something gentle before i moisturize. I tried to lather this on my hands before applying to my face, got very little lather. this doesn't tell me it's not working because I know that the foaming ingredient in most soaps is not very good for sensitive skin. therefore it's fine as long as it does the job. I put it on my face ans it felt like putting on cream and it was soft. once i rinsed my face did feel clean and gently stripped of oils. Then i followed this by moisturizing with the Cetaphil lotion that comes in a similar bottle.

Second day of using these 2. so far very very happy un-irritated skin. :D
