the people leaving bad reviews were probably not using the product correctly. when you go to apply the product allow the spatula with the wax to sit on the skin for a few seconds before spreading. also a little goes a long way. if you do not allow the wax to heat up with your body temperature it will be hard to spread and painful. this is by far the easiest and less painful than pre waxed strips. also it comes with re-useable cloth strips. as with any product read what the box says, it gives you good tips. really is worth the money.
this is what I did:
put wax on wooden stick
placed stick on skin waited 3 seconds to see if it would spread easily
once spread on skin applied cloth strip rubbed 3-4 times held skin taught as possible and pulled up strip
used same strip on two more areas until the strip no longer pulled out hair.
side note: if using for bikini area, work in small patches, it's a lot easier and less painful.
I bought this product excited that it was made for sensitive skin, and that it was hypoallergenic. Oooohhh no! it was so bad. The waxing itself went well, I followed the instructions perfectly, did everything to the book, it definitely removed my hair. But after several hour the redness would not go away. Then it turned into painful itchy bumps! My face had broken out completely into a huge rash all over my cheeks, chin and upper lip. Nothing would make it go away, I've been taking allergy medicine and using coconut oil to ease the inflammation and pain. It's been almost a week and it still looks like I have terrible acne all over my normally clear skin.

I wanted this to work so bad. I have very dark corse hair and this was just an epic fail lol. I'm not going to blame it on the product, maybe it's just me not knowing how to make it work. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone like me who has no waxing experience. It wouldn't stick to my skin; I think I got four hairs removed max. I'm a tough girl, I've gotten my hair waxed professionally before. I know how to "rip off the bandaid," but it was just all gooey and didn't pull. Going to return and head back to the razor unfortunately.

Great product. It actuallys works. You just have to take your time and work on one section of your body at a time because the cloth they give you in the box isn't enough if you want to do two or more sections of your body.

This was the first product I ever tried to use to wax at home. It does still hurt to remove the hair (which is impossible to avoid) but the fact that this is actually a gel that rinses off easily with just water makes it 1000x less painful in the end. I made the mistake of trying an actual wax product once that was not water soluble and it was a nightmare. I couldn't get the leftover wax off with the wipes that came in the kit so I ended up having to SCRUB it off with soap after I had just waxed the area. Save yourself the blood sweat and tears and use this.

Ok I have PCOS and a symptom is facial hair growth . It's a huge insecurity and embarrassing. I've tried sugar waxing, Sally's wax strips, plucking. This is the best one . It's packaged well, you can RESUSE the strips which saves money. I just wash w hot water and let them dry. No heat. Be sure to pull tight to make sure the hair comes off. Overall the best wax kit I've used so far.

I really wanted to love this. The idea of having smooth legs for weeks made me really want this to work for me. It did an okay job taking out the hair, but I did not have enough cloths to finish my legs and underarms, plus the areas I did wax left me picky. I grew out my hair to the correct minimum length (1/8"), but maybe I should have let it grow out longer? Anyways, I may try again in the next couple days to see if I can get the rest of my leg hair out, so that I don't have patches of waxed and I waxed hair. This left my hands sticky through the entire process, which made everything more of a mess. It's not awful, but I'm not sure if it's worth it for me to spend an entire afternoon removing hair, and not even having it all removed to make it even.

I've tried sally Hansen, nair, random strips..this is the best there is!! Hair came off so easy and this will last me a long time as there is so much wax.

This Kit is absolutely amazing, so gentle on the skin yet very effective. Used to use a different brand but now I'm so happy I've discovered this kit! It's algo great for the face, very gentle and easy, no mess at all.

Great leg wax

This is the first time a wax product has actually worked for me. The pre wax strips would take my skin with it but this swiftly ripped out every hair it could grab and my legs look super smooth. And i was able to reuse a strip about 6 times before it got sticky which is a plus. My only problem is even though i can reuse the same strip i wish the had a bigger tub, i would pay for a 12oz or 16oz. Overall i will repurchase.

It didn't hurt much but it also didn't remove hair at all.

The Nads gel kit is the neatest, most effective waxing method I've tried. It works well and is easy to clean up with just warm water. I recommend using a blow dryer to warm up the wax periodically.

I was pretty excited to try this. I've always been insecure about the amount of body hair I have, I don't mind the leg and underarm hair much because I know it's typical. I really got this to help with the hairs on my stomach and chest, I had a bad habit of shaving a lot when I was younger and it definitely came back to bite me. My hairs are suuuuuper dark to the point where I don't like to wear crop or tank tops. Anyways, it was my first time waxing but I tend to tweeze these hairs so I thought nothing of it. It hurt, of course, but I got through it. I did my stomach and it didn't really get the root of a lot of hairs so it left the area sparse with tiny ones that I couldn't really tweeze. Once I got to my chest, things went well...until the next day, I broke out in several red bumps (like 8) that lasted for about two, maybe three weeks and now left scars, I had pictures but ended up deleting them (this happened about a month ago). All in all, I'd say this works well if you have thinner/lighter hairs, like I said, mine are super dark and thick from constant shaving but it still managed to get a good amount if them, just not completely and it made me break out in one area. The strange thing was that I don't have sensitive skin and I only broke out on my chest, but not my stomach, underarms, part of my back, nor my leg or arm where I did a patch test.

I have been waxing for over 30 years, no razors for me.

This is so great and easy to use! But you have to make sure to let it heat up on your skin before spreading. It barely hurts too!
SewKerrie from Tampa, FL
I will never need professional waxing services for my underarms or lower legs again! This is wonderful, and I love that the fabric can be washed and reused. I am wary about trying this in the bikini area, just because it may be difficult for me to spread thinly in that area.

I use this product for brows, lip, and bikini.

I tried this product a couple times and all it did was rip at my skin. I followed the directions carefully. definitely waste of money!

I love it.. this wax gel is the best. No heat required, just apply it on skin, and wax it off. All hair comes out smoothly, and skin is so clear. No reaction, no bumps, just soft skin. Just love it.

I bought this product for my teenage daughter. The gel was over hardened and it was painful just to apply. Although, it does not require any heat it should probably require some warming.

I have shaved, waxed and epililiated for many years. However I had never used Nads. On a whim I tried on my legs, bikini line and armpits. I have thick, dense, dark hair with fast regrowth. The biggest shock to me was how comfortable this is to use! The gel is not like wax that rips hair and skin, instead it only rips out the hair and is gentle on skin! The cotton strips are washable and reusable, so I can collect more with each purchase to aid in doing larger surface areas (I find once I use a strip to remove hair it doesn't work on the next area, so I have to use a new strip for every section of hair). Also love than any stickiness or mess is easily removed with water. Also a tip: place in a shallow bowl of warm water to help wax spread if the temp is cold in your house and gel is too solid!

I went into Ulta planning on getting another wax that I would typically use. I noticed there was only one of these left on shelf and decided to try something new. So glad I did. First I didn't even know there was wax out there you don't have to heat, this avoids me having to back and forward to microwave. This wax is so efficient and you don't have to spread a lot. The only thing is I would like more cloth strip material.
Sadie from Orem, UT
I purchased this on a wimb while at Ulta, not expecting anything spectacular but thought it was worth a shot. When I got home I was surprised at how well it worked on both my super fine leg hair and my husband's coarse neck and chin hair. Bonus, there was no heat required and it comes off with water! Like, literally, I got some on the counter and just wiped it away with hot water and a rag. On that note, I was also able to wash the strips in hot water when I was done waxing and am confidant that they'll work again and again.
I will definitely purchase this in the future.

I was super excited to try this product. I would say I have an in-between hair type. It's not coarse but it's not fine either. When I heated up the wax it was still hard to apply and when I went to get some more, it would already be cooled. It did get most of the hair, but a lot was still left behind. I would have to reapply a few times before I was able to get most of the rest. I have what looks like razor bad burn on my leg now. Sometimes after just one application my leg would turn red and bumps would appear. It did make my leg bleed in a few places because of this. I thought, "Well the redness and everything will go down after a while and my legs will be smooth." Nope. I used the wax not even an hour ago and I have stubble in the areas I applied it to. I don't know if it's just user error or if it's just not doing what it's supposed to. I will not be using again. I'm super bummed out. It is very easy to clean up though, so that's really nice.

I just loved it in my first use.I have thick black hair on my legs and underarms.I usually prefer waxing and never shave and go to a salon for it which is once a month. Its is expensive to get my full legs and hands to get waxed. So I always wanted to do something at home to avoid the expense.I have tried Sally Hansen wax and other waxing strips which ended up not only burning me but causing redness. So I thought of trying Nads.As it said no need to heat it up I was like this is something I need as I am not a professional. As the weather is so chilly it said on the box just heat it up for 5 secs and thats what I did and applied it....Was so happy to see the results. It left me feeling soft.Secondly usually the wax are so messy you just ended up taking it out from oil but this gel was easily washable with water so no mess at all.Did not leave me with any redness too..and more important not much painful. The only cons was it was not enough. I could only do half legs, hands and underarms.I wish it was enough according to the price.
