Most Helpful Positive Review I love this shadow
I have how polished it looked and how much it made my eyes pop! I created a look on my Instagram page if anyone wants to check it out @callherpassion
Most Helpful Critical Review Horrible
I buy tons of make-up this is EASILY the worst thing I have every bought. I saw it in the store and loved the color and texture. Got home and tried it out. It doesn't go on at all! I tried my finger first and that is definitely the best way I found to "put it on" but it spread out way to much, was not buildable, instead it got clumpy when trying to build up. Next I tried a brush and it is almost impossible to get on one because of the texture, you have to scoop it onto the brush. Then I tried it with a brush and setting spray and it turned clumpy, also tried wetting my finger and then dipping into the product, which once again made it clumpy, so either it gets clumpy or spreads out way too much. At the end of the hour I spent trying to make it work my eye hurt so bad because of what I believe is fine glitter in it, my eyelid hurt for the next 3 days. I would give this product a 0 if I had the option.

Got shade woman of steel. I've tried every application I can think of to get this product to work. Eyeshadow primer, no primer, using a brush, using my finder, using a disposable eyeshadow applicator. Nothing works. It crumbles in the pan when you apply pressure, goes on patchy or not at all, and looks flaky on the eye. Very disappointing.

Very pretty but the pigment fades and becomes patchy with the faintest blending. It's really frustrating to work with. It may be ok as a topper shadow that you just tap on but it does not work at all if you want to blend it out.
Beautiful but not the easiest to work with
CC from Chicago
I bought 2 colors and one is worse than the other. If you apply with your finger you don't get a lot color, but if you apply with a brush u have to work really hard to pick enough pigment, but then it gets clumpy and leaves clumps in the pan or falls all over the place. It also burns my eyes.
Color- Beauty Buzz (not a light pink shade)
Navive from Colorado
I love these foil cream eyeshadows. They can be soft or dramatic for a multidimensional look.
Caution: the Beauty Buzz color is not the shade that it appears to be. I thought it was supposed to be a pretty light pinkish color.... instead it more of a coppery gold. :(

These are very high impact metallic shadows, which I love. I apply over a glitter primer for the best wear (love the NYX glitter primer, little goes a long way). The shade I got, beauty buzz, is not what it is in the photo. It is shown as a light pink-brown, but it is straight up gold in person.
Glitter gets everywhere & hurts eyes
CC from Washington DC
The glitter fall out is intense and God forbid it gets in your eye! It's very painful, just in case you were wondering. I so wanted this to work! the pink color is beautiful but the fallout is just too much.
Bought as a gift for someone who likes cream eyeshadow

It's a very useable take on the resurgence of cream eyeshadows, with a little metallic kick.
It is an ok product

The quality is ok. Kind of chunky and patchy on the eye. The Makeup Revolution foil shadows are much better and not chunky.
I love the thin gold glitter

I was crazy looking for and affordable foiled/glittery eyeshadow and when I found this one, I thought it'd be perfect. However, the golden color only shows in the glitter itself, there's no golden background, it's like no color payoff only golden glitter. It's beautiful though and gets the job done. The glitter stayed in my eyes on top of my eyeshadow all night without the use of glitter primer.
Not what I expected
Tatiana from Chicago
When I dipped my brush in, it just crumbled everywhere. It's super messy too, and there is no pigment. I returned it
Exactly what i imagined

I used in as a cut crease & on my inner corner/

I'm a very light skinned person and this mostly showed on me like glitter. It's cute for a light look or pop of glitter
Easy to put on with fingers! Lots of sparkle!
L Wood from Williamsburg, VA
Thoroughly have enjoyed how easy it can be applied with my fingers and it almost completely comes off with water, yet still stays on during the day! I hate carrying bulky crazy multicolored pallets and this fits easily in my purse/wallet. As a bonus it's not crazy expensive
Gold at its best

I just bought this cream eyeshadow for a New Year's Eve look and have absolutely fallen in love with it. Make sure that you use an eyeshadow base..I used urban decay's as well as Ulta's store brand and they both worked beautifully as well as a setting spray. There was no creasing and lasted hoursss. You can apply over another metallic gold shade for depth...use your finger, dab, and let it set for a second. Beautiful color, nice job NYX

Fabulous sparkle. Put lightly on my inner eye. Great for day or night.

Absolutely love it!! Perfect color and easy to apply!

It's alright. Stays on the entire day. Would like to try it in a different color maybe the one I got wasn't what I expected it blends in with my skin tone.
Shade beauty buzz
Jess89 from Tulsa ok
I got the shade beauty buzz for a brow highlighter and inner corner pop. It is pigmented but it's chunky and doesn't work well with a dry brush at all. I just used my finger and it worked a lot better but it's difficult with longer nails. I absolutely love the color but wish it was easier to work with.
ACTUALLY, IT WASN'T EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR.

NOTHING REALLY GREAT ABOUT IT, BUT IT WAS ALL YOU HAD IN THE WAY OF CREME EYE SHADOWS THAT I WOULD FIND. IF I MISSED SOMETHING, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I PREFER CREME OVER POWDER.
Good Cream Glitter Shadows
OneCueT from OKC, OK
I bought Smart Mouth: pink berry, Beauty Buzz: pink beige, & Steal Your Man: Gold. I wished these creams were more opaque in color. However, they have glitter that glistens in the light. That being said Essence has their Melted Chrome shadows which are a bit better & cost less. I've been buying less & less from Nyx. Due to the fact they keep increasing their prices. I'd rather buy high end with a few dollars more.
It's Just Glitter
SJ Eazy from St. Louis
Kinda disappointed. Definitely not foil at all and there's no actual shade to it (Beauty Buzz). I'll give it two stars rather than one, because it stays on at least. I wasn't going for the glitter look, but I suppose it'll come in handy sometime.
I absolutely love the NYX foil play cream eyeshadow!!
Diana from Central Oregon
I like to first apply with my finger then i wet my brush and apply it to give it a real foiled look!

great pigment and shine, make sure to prime / set your eyelids before application
