Most Helpful Positive Review My new holy grail! I had high hopes when I saw that LM released this. I love the Flawless Fusion but sometimes it can look a little dry on me in places. First off, the color was PERFECT for me. Being half Asian/half Scottish and Irish, it's always tough for me to find my shade. I matched my Nars foundation shade and that worked well. This applied like a dream, it blended easily and melted right into my skin. It looks great with powder or no powder (I prefer light powder to let the glow through). It was long wearing but still natural looking and light on my skin. It also did not sink into my wrinkles or fine lines. Long story short, this will be my new go-to.
Most Helpful Critical Review Not Radiant or Hydrating This foundation did not live up to the radiant/hydrating claims; quite the opposite actually. It looked and felt awfully powdery - definitely not for those with dry skin. I would only recommend this to someone with oily skin who wants a glowy foundation.

I really like this foundation. I have been trying to replace my Lancôme Renergie since they changed the formula and ruined the best foundation I have ever used. Used this for years. Now my search to replace has been difficult. Since Covid and the limited way to shop I have had little success. Laura Mercier is a hydrating foundation with a slight glow. It looks beautiful on the skin. I bought the color Linen, which turned out to be to yellow. I am going to return for another color but am stumped on what shade to go with. I would recommend this foundation for everyday use.
Surprised this gets bad reviews 5

I love this foundation, it's very natural looking, I have an amazing shade match (the neutral shades are truly neutral in my opinion unlike many other brands which lean peachy), and I love how it wears. It doesn't dry out my skin and it's not dewy, just a natural/ satin finish which doesn't seem to emphasize texture for me. My skin is combination with some dry areas and I tend to get a little bit oily in some areas and this doesn't make my skin dryer and fades very nicely over time. It's not transfer proof but i have never found a truly transfer proof foundation that looked natural.
The only drawback is the price really, but I haven't found a cheaper foundation that works as well for me, personally.
If you like a natural finish and prefer lighter coverage, give this a try!

I was doing some research on foundations that would be good for a bride as I am getting married soon. I decided to try this one and I am so glad I did. The shade I chose is an absolute perfect match, which can be really hard to find. The foundation looks natural in that it looks like a smoother version of your skin. Its gorgeous and im happy I decided to go for it!

I had never tried any LM products and wanted a new foundation. Of course now with Covid Ulta isn't testing products so the sales girl just went by sight to match the color. Today I used it for the first time and have never had such a water down foundation. I had to use a lot to feel I was getting coverage. I'm 56 yrs old and need better coverage from a foundation. Not to mention I will be going through this bottle in no time! Definitely returning.

Great product 4

The formula is great, it'sa full coverage liquid foundation and it has a lightweight feel. I highly recommend this product. The only issue I have with this product is, the trial and error process to find the right color match.
Looks great, just little to no coverage 4

Its a great foundation, light weight, just didn't like that it was so watery..I have to use a lot to cover my face. May not be good for people that have blemishes to cover

Great coverage, but very lightweight! Minimizes fine lines and wrinkles too.
Best liquid foundation! 5

Best liquid foundation! Get the drugstore makeup sponges and use a fresh one every day. However, don't press too hard. I was going through this bottle pretty fast until I realized more foundation was going into the sponge than on my skin. I use it with the tinted moisturizer and foundation primer.
Awesome! 5

I finally found my holy grail. I found the shade through Laura mercies website and it works perfect for me. It is not heavy, not caky and very breathable. I loved it on my skin. It gives only sheer coverage and you need a good brush to apply. I had it on for almost 7 hours and stayed greasy. If you have dry to normal skin then go for this. My skin felt so smooth even after washing the foundation.
Nice but not worth the price 2

Though foundation applied quite nicely and the color matched perfectly, overall there was nothing that was that much of a wow factor for me. You could probably buy the L'Oreal Trumatch foundation and have the exact same results. Not only was it not as luminous as I was expecting but it was extremely sheer even for my skin. Though it felt nice to apply and wore nicely throughout the day overall was just not what I expected for the price point.

Beautiful finish. Natural and the perfect amount of radiance. Color match was also perfect. Blends out like a dream and I don't look like my face was "spackled "...Absolutely love this foundation!
Not worth the price 2

I was looking for a more luminous foundation, and thought this would be perfect! I have pretty normal skin with minimal blemishes. It didn't cover my blemishes at all no matter how much I tried to build it up! By the end of the day my forehead was super shiny, and it was separating on my nose. I will definitely be returning although I was happy with the initial result once all my makeup was applied.

Worst foundation I have ever spent money on and now I am stuck with it will never use it again
Looks like skin 5

I have dry skin and this looks BEAUTIFUL on me.
It makes my skin look so healthy and pretty. I find that this doesn't settle into my smile lines or my under eyes like other foundations do. I make sure to moisturize my skin very well and then I apply elf pore putty primer all over my face, I then use Tati's blendiful to blend this on my skin. Definitely a favorite.
Not Worth The Money 2

I bought this product and tried it a few types. Looks good putting it on but doesn't give you a dewy radiant look. I feel like it didn't give me coverage. It looked like it came off in a hour. Not worth the money. There's better foundations in the makeup world.

Amazing product for flawless coverage and gives off a natural look. Blends in perfectly!

Blotchy and nowhere near hydrating or luminous. Very disappointed. Expected much better for the price.
Orange You Mad You Bought Me? 3

I am very fair with a cool undertone. I bought the lightest shade - Cameo. Its ORANGE. Even mixed with lighter foundation to make it better, its atrocious & not salvageable.
I left one review before but I see its been deleted or never posted. Swatch in person! The online swatches are not true to color.
Great texture! 5

I bought this product a few months ago and loved it! Texture was great, scent was subtle. Color was perfect for my tone. Love the coverage as well.
Had high hopes 3

After having my daughter 2.5 years ago my skin has changed drastically. I used to be a complete vat of oil. I now have desert dry skin and I've been desperately trying to combat this with a complete change in skincare/makeup. This is probably the 5th attempt at foundation. I loved the coverage level. For me, it's as much as I want. Covers my redness and light blemishes while providing a seemingly nice canvas. Ordering by online shade swatches was beyond wacky though. DEFINITELY do this in-store (once Ulta re-opens😢) I've never had such difficulty trying to find a shade match. I'm your basic light/neutral and on my 5th shade it was finally decent. So day #1. Applied with zero primer. Just wanted to see the product work for itself. Applied beautifully. Within a few hours it settled into lines I never knew existed. I looked like I applied a crackly face mask. Full of separation as well. Horrifying. Next I purchased the Laura mercier hydrating primer. I really wanted this to work. It honestly helped tremendously. Better application, more natural finish and minimal separation. Can't say I'd purchase this again because it still isn't perfect, but totally okay with using it until it empties. Here's why I'm really deducting stars... I have been lucky and have had very few blemishes lately, but noticed after wearing this regularly for a week, I've developed intense blackheads. In places I've never in my life had them. Never experienced this ever with any makeup. This was the only addition to my routine so i really can't blame anything else. Another thing... how is NOBODY talking about the fragrance?!? It hit me immediately, and I tried around 5 different shades so I know I'm not crazy!! It's some really odd spicy scent?!!! What is that about?!! Very strange experience overall, but whatever I'm keeping it for the time being.
It's not bad 3
Lexilou from California
It's not bad, it's not full coverage and it doesn't build all the way up to full coverage which was a bummer for me. It has a really pretty finish but after about 2-3 hours it settles into all of my fine lines. It even settles into lines that I don't normally have a problem with. I used a pore filling/smoothing primer and it didn't help at all. It is also not very long lasting, by the end of the day I most of my makeup has transferred off and it oxidized quite a bit. It's not a bad product but it didn't work for me and for the price I expected better. I will be returning it.
Beautiful 5
Heather from Utah
This has fantastic coverage without looking heavy or matte, but it's not excessively dewy either. I have dry, mature skin and on me this is a satin finish. It lasts well throughout the day, doesn't cling to dry patches, looks good over texture, and I love that it has zero fragrance and no drying alcohol in it. Beautiful packaging, very classy like all Laura Mercier products. I'm an NC15-20 and Cashew is a great match for me. I'm super excited Ulta is carrying this brand now- I was able to check it all out in-store! I highly recommend if you have dryer skin and like good coverage- it's beautiful!
Expected better. 1

Shade range is very yellow toned and did not seem to have any coverage. The level of dewy was nice but I couldn't get passed the shades nor the coverage.
Love the way it looks, but transfers very easy 4
Alex from Geneva il
Love the coverage and the natural look, color was matched perfectly, unfortunately if you touch your face at all even with a primer or setting spray it will wipe away the makeup
