Comments about Laura Geller Filter Fix Baked Correcting Setting Powder:

I was in a rush and asked an associate what their best setting powder was. She pointed me to this. I commented on the color and that I needed it to set my under eye area. She said that it was translucent. It's not. I'm fair and it looks like I put blush directly under my eyes

WONDERFUL

By hex

Comments about Laura Geller Filter Fix Baked Correcting Setting Powder:

I'm very fair with oily skin and this setting powder makes my skin look and feel wonderful. I don't have any problem with the mesh or wasting powder. I simply turn the powder over, with the lid still fastened, then give it a few knocks with the handle of my makeup brush. Turn it right side up, remove lid, and voila- the perfect amount of powder is in the mesh. Dip your brush in, tap off excess, apply to face, repeat! It really makes my skin look so silky smooth!

This is better for women of color. No ash or white changing your makeup and even better on bare skin. It stops shine for hours. I hope a compact is coming soon.

Comments about Laura Geller Filter Fix Baked Correcting Setting Powder:

I love Laura Gellar baked foundation, so I thought this was a no-brainer. I wanted something to bake over my concealer that wouldn't change the color. This was sold to me by a rep as something that goes on translucent despite its pink-ish appearance in powder form. It's definitely orange-y when it settles, and looks super caked on and settles in my wrinkles...the OPPOSITE of what the baked foundation does (and the reason I usually love it so much). Pretty bummed and wish I would have saved my receipt to return it.

I'm in my 40's and I'm not fan of anything that makes me look like disco ball or emphasizes my pores or wrinkles. A little glow is okay but I prefer a more matte powder. Could you tell me what kind of finish it has?

                      A:

This has a completely matte finish. Because of the apricot shade, it will neutralize the skin tone and slightly brighten the complexion. I think you'll love it!

I am sorry, this does not come with a brush. I do recommend using anything that is light, fluffy, and not too dense.

You absolutely can! You can use it before, OR after. It all comes down to a personal preference. I like to use it after, that way it'll blend down the bronzer making everything look very natural. Enjoy!
