decent coverage horrible container

By bj

Comments about Laura Geller Filter Corrector Color Perfecting Balm:

I am able to cover my sun spots enough where they aren't too noticable and do a decent job on the areas that have redness. Two months after purchasing the top broke off and yesterday the bottom hinge of the green part broke off. I have always been very careful with the container and it is just poorly made. I will not be buying this again when it dries out because I can't cover it anymore.

Comments about Laura Geller Filter Corrector Color Perfecting Balm:

i have medium to oily skin and I can't wear heavy facial products and this product was heavy. I have bags and discoloration under my eyes and the girl at Ulta said this would be great to cover some of the dark. I applied 3 layers before I saw any of my dark bags go away with the peach. Then when I took the smallest bit of the blue to brighten the areas I highlight I actually could not blend it out. I used my fingers to rub it in but i ended up having it all over (I mean all over my cheeks) and up and down my nose and forehead. Anyways after wearing the product for 8 hours the product collected in my crease and separated my foundation/concealer so you could see all the products bunched up under my eyes. This product is good in theory but wasn't for me and I plan on returning it.

Loved it at first

Comments about Laura Geller Filter Corrector Color Perfecting Balm:

Great coverage, but the hinges on the container broke after only a couple uses and the product dried out SO fast I barely had a chance to use any of it before I had to just throw it away. Not worth the money. Maybe worth it if it was $12 or less...

Comments about Laura Geller Filter Corrector Color Perfecting Balm:

This product works great for almost any skin discoloration but the container REALLY SUCKS!!! The hinge broke on day 2!!! If the product didn't work so well I would've returned it. Better packaging and it would be 5 stars

Comments about Laura Geller Filter Corrector Color Perfecting Balm:

I like the product. I cant use heavy cover up, though, I have very heavy and dark under eyes and butterfly rush, which needs a heavy cover-up to hide all those. This product alone does it all, by giving a fair coverage without applying any additional makeup.
The WORST thing about this product is - after like 10 days of using this, the bottom part completely broke. I ended up wasting a good part of the green correcter (the main one i need and use) because that part is now by itself; just that alone is so frustrating that makes me not even appreciate the PROS: (

I have 3 questions. Can I use a brush to apply this or is it best with a beauty blender? if so what would be best. I have dry combination skin. Does this work well with powder foundation? Lastly, are these cream or powder? thanks!

                  A:

This is an extremely creamy formula and works great with any skin type. I recommend applying with a beauty blender or a brush- either method words beautifully. I like to use a beauty blender to push the product into the skin. If you use a brush, buff it into the skin using circular motions. This does work beautifully with powder, simply apply this first and then the powder over. And this is a cream product.

I use Smashbox Peach corrector and a cheap Maybeline Green corrector, would this work better then smashbox or about the same?

                  A:

YES!!! I am obsessed with this product. Not only does it do it's job because each color corrects different skin imperfections, it is loaded with incredible skincare benefits and it is extremely hydrating so its very bendable. I would definitely recommend giving this a try! And because a very little bit goes a long way, you'll have this compact for a very long time. Enjoy!

                  A:

This product is skin loving. It is loaded with incredible skincare benefits that hydrate and make the skin feel smooth and creamy. It typically does not settle into lines, however I have noticed that less is more. Apply in thin light layers to avoid settling. Enjoy!
