Comments about L'Oréal Feria Absolute Platinum:

It worked for me and is much more gentle than what I usually use. I used it with about 1/4" of roots in, my natural color is dark blonde to light brown. I used a plastic bag during development and my own dark purple toning conditioner, after a color sealing deep conditioner. Definitely not as drying to my scalp as my other brand and has little to no odor. I thought it was great.

Comments about L'Oréal Feria Absolute Platinum:

I have fine hair that damages easy, and this product was gentle and didn't leave my hair feeling fried. I left it on for the entire allowed 60 minutes, and I am not blonde at all! It's a reddish strawberry blonde. Might be because one package was not enough to get a good even layer through my hair. I will try again in a week and this time buy 2 boxes so I have enough product to cover my entire head.

I don't know why I used this product twice, when both times were a failure. The first time I excused it for having dark, often colored hair. I'm writing this fresh from the shower the second time and my hair is a lot lighter, but the same color as before but with more yellow. My roots are pure platinum, so for virgin hair, go for it. find something else if you're trying to get rid of previously dyed hair.

                    • Q:

My natural hair color a few years ago was dk brown with lots of grey. It has since turned a beautiful shade of white. Unfortunately, I let someone darken my hair with an in home boxed color. I have tried to keep it this darker brown with reddish highlights.I have been going lighter every time i had to do my roots. About 2 months ago, I bleached it to remove the last of the color. It worked pretty good, except my hair is ultra light ash blonde. I want to try to get it as white as possible without bleaching as my hair is very coarse and thick and I don't want to damage it again. What can I use to get my hair as white as I can.?

I just dyed my light blonde hair with the very platinum color a week ago and it has hints of yellow in it. Should I try the absolute platinum instead? My hair is naturally a dirty blonde and I have dyed it lighter for a few years with a different brand but wanted to go lighter.

Hi there! Both the Very Platinum and the Absolute Platinum work in similar ways; they will each lighten your hair through stages to get to a platinum shade. We would not suggest applying a bleach to your hair again right now because it could cause the lighter areas of the hair to over lighten and possibly cause breakage We'd suggest taking a look at our EverPure Blonde Shampoo, Conditioner and Shade Reviving Treatment. These products are all designed to help neutralize brassy tones in blonde, color-treated hair to give it a more natural look. We hope this helps!

Hello! By not mixing the lightening creme, your hair will most likely not lighten up as much as expected. All of the kit components are required to lighten the hair to its full potential, so we would suggest rinsing the product out before it has the chance to start lightening, waiting 48 hours, then trying again! We hope this helps!

I've been using L'Oréal highlift extra light natural blonde #02 for several months. Prior to that I used L'Oréal lightest ultimate blonde #10 for years. My natural hair color is 70% Light silver-gray. Right now I'm a light blonde exactly the color shown on the #10 box so the #02 didn't change my hair color at all, but I still want to go platinum. Is this permanent hair color, and will I get platinum results? My hair is thin, but in ok condition. I fear getting orange hair!!! Please advise. Thank you so much

Hi! Our Feria Absolute Platinum is a lightening product that lightens the hair through stages. The longer it is left on, the lighter the hair gets. We always recommend performing a strand test so you can know how long to leave the product on to get to the desired lightness. We do not recommend exceeding the recommended time on the instructions.

                        Hi!
Because your hair is color-treated, it will not lighten the same as natural hair would. The existing artifical color will have to be removed first. If you want to go blonde, we would recommend having it done at a salon, and when it is time to touch up the roots, you can use the Feria Absolute Platinum to bleach the roots. We hope this information is helpful!

We are very sorry that this happened. When your hair turns orange/brassy tones, it is because you are using a shade too light for your natural hair color. You can re-color using a 7 Dark Blonde for next time!
