Most Helpful Positive Review Inexpensive & effective (with practice)
I'm a little surprised at all the negative reviews. It took a while, but by trial and error, I figured out that rolling it over my skin at about a 45-degree angle and not pressing too hard works well. Also, moisturizing my skin just before using it seems to help it grip the hairs a little better. It doesn't get all of the hairs, but I don't mind plucking the few stragglers.
Downside: it hurts, but not more than anything else I've tried that involves ripping hair out. YMMV, but while waxing and threading both cause painful red bumps on my skin that last about a week (using neosporin immediately after sometimes helps), this hair remover doesn't irritate my skin at all.
I would give it 5 stars if it were easier to get the hang of.

Ok so maybe this was user error... so I hate to give a negative review but I followed the directions and did not have a great experience. I'm a super light skin light eyed person with tons of white/blonde body hair. It's pretty thick on my face and I never really worry about it but it's been annoying me lately with some makeup application. So I got this as it seems pretty simple. And it really is? I rolled it around on my face and could see and feel it pulling out the hairs. When I woke up the next morning though HOLY COW I was cooooovered in red bumps like tiny zits all the bet my face. I have really clear skin so this was a super shock to wake up to and this was the only variation in my routine. Maybe I'm silly and did something wrong but this is what happened to me

First of all this is not for people who are not used to threading. This uses the same motion as that. It will cause you to be sensitive bc it pulls out hair different than waxing. But if you don't get a reaction to threading facial hair this is a great tool!!!
Do not buy if you have sensitive skin.

I was excited to use this product little did I know my skin was going to have a major reaction. I have acne in the first place but it's NEVER been like this before. I used the hair remover Sunday night and woke up to this Monday morning. I gave it a day to calm down even exfoliated and applied a mask. It's Tuesday night and this is what my skin looks like two nights after....
will be returning!!!

Have to clean frequently while using. I'm not a really hairy person and this just does so little.
No I wouldn't by this again. It didn't work for me.

This is a wonderful product for removal of facial hair! It is not without pain, though. You can expect the pain level to be about the same as hot wax. What I like is that you are not applying a chemical to your face. Also, this product will save you money and time. I was able to do my chin and upper lip in less than five minutes in my own bathroom!
I have very sensitive skin, so everything I've ever used has had some amount of pain and redness. I splashed some ice cold water on my face right after using this remover and it tamed my redness a bit.
you will break out.

removing the hairs on your face will block your pores. the sebum travels up the hair shaft. No shaft, oil stays in pores. That is why everyone breaks out after using it. Your skin will feel SO soft. your makeup so smooth. moisturizer and serum absorb so well. Use a good acne treatment after you finish removing the hairs and it helps with the follow-up breakout.
If I could give zero stars, I would
Chris from Dallas, Texas
Sanitized it and washed my face, then used as directed. It hurt a little (expected) and left my face slightly irritated, but wonderfully smooth. The next day, my entire face was broken out with tiny white heads and red bumps/acne. I NEVER break out and this was the only new element in my skin care routine. I should not have gotten this and wish I had read the reviews. I'll embrace my peach fuzz from now on.

Hurts badly and is spotty at taking all hair. Could not stand it long enough to use for all. Irritated my skin. Very disappointed. Do not purchase. Painful.

This does pull out the fine hair really good, but does not touch course hair. I am hopping the fine hairs don't grow back course now.
This product was a huge let down. It doesn't pull hair well
Michelle from Orange, TC
I will not purchase this or recommend it. The hair that I was able to remove hurt like heck when it came out. I it also left my skin feeling irritated afterwards.

This is absolutely the worst product I have ever tried. I can tolerate some pain if I see results. This was unbearable and I wasted no time and threw it in the trash. This is not something I recommend. Keep looking! Happy shopping!

So I bought this item obviously to remove my face hair, it's obvious that is going to hurt because you are plucking your hairs, it is painful but after a while it's the pain it's whatever, just like your eyebrows the first time it hurts but after a while the pain goes away just like the this product, don't expect plucking hair would be painless lol
I like it!!!! And it so relaxing !! I'll buy it again !!
Maria from California
Good thing it was on sale when I got it so I wouldn't have to pay full price for this no good product very painful yet it doesn't really work it only gets some of the hairs never works on that just one that you can't get with tweezers.
i'll stick to shaving
breezy from houston, tx
my mom bought one, and after she cleaned it, i used it on my right cheek and chin. i normally shave my face, and had not done so in a week, so my face had growth. i tried my cheek first and moved to my chin, since shaving the chin is hard for me. the next day, my chin was severely broken out with bumps, but my cheek was fine. its been just over a week after using it and one of the bumps has escalated to acne now, and i have severely troubled skin to start with. ive never broken out shaving before, and this made me do so. i'll stick to shaving.
Adverse Reaction - Caused bad Breakout
Bri from Phoenix, AZ
I wouldn't recommend this product if you have sensitive skin. I didn't want to pluck or bleach and waxing caused acne. This tool does the same as the waxing. The acne takes a lot of time to go away too.
Shandrea from Atlanta
This was horrible. I got it on a whim despite some negative reviews. But the bad reviews are totally right. I broke out after using this. It was horrible! It was also painful to use and didn't really get all the hairs.
waste of time

I tried it and it did nothing for me.
Not only would I buy this product again, I did!
Maria from Beaufort
OK, so you're probably wondering why did I buy another one if I already have one. Because I wanted one at work too. It is that easy to use and I just sit at my desk in my office with the door closed of course and can do it while I'm talking to someone on the phone. You can feel it pulling all those little fine hairs on your face. It is not painful. Just a little bit of a sting. The more you use it the less it will hurt. I also use it when I'm watching TV, reading, and playing words with friends. It is just that easy to use!
Worst beauty product on the market!!
Esthetician from Kingsport TN
Ruined my complexion!!! I should've known not to use this because I know that sometimes waxing the face can cause your skin to have a mild reaction but I never expected my face to look this way afterwards. It's the worst I've ever seen my face look! And I'm 40 years old. I'm also a hairstylist and I'm here to tell you that this IS NOT a product that promotes beauty. Take it off the shelves!!!!
Does it hurt? Yes. Is it worth it? YES!
Rexy from MA
The first time I rolled this thing up my face I made such a super high pitched sound that my boyfriend came running to see if could rescue me from a spider. Lots of yanking out of hair and a very red face for a sec, but extremely smooth. Once I got the hang of it I really began to like it. I especially enjoy rolling it while driving. Sure takes away all that road rage. ;)
Be careful to wash it, though, otherwise you could end up with a dirty tool and pimples like I did the first day.
