Comments about Maybelline FaceStudio Master Prime Blur + Smooth Primer:

Maybelline kept their word! It feels amazing on my skin. It blurs my pores and it's great for the price. I have heard it can cause breakouts but I have not had an issues at all (my skin is oily). Highly recommend!

Comments about Maybelline FaceStudio Master Prime Blur + Smooth Primer:

I wore this for only one day and for only about 6 hours. When I took my makeup off my skin was red and dotted with new acne. It applies nicely and is like a lotion so I thought it would be fine at first. It doesn't really do much for my pores either, it had about as much blurring effect as every other primer. I wouldn't buy it again since it messed with my skin.

      By jayne

Comments about Maybelline FaceStudio Master Prime Blur + Smooth Primer:

I've a ton of expensive primers but nothing had smoothed my pores better. My foundation looks fantastic afterwards.. I like to wear it with Mac pro longwear. The only thing I am not too sure on is if it's causing that foundation to oxidize a bit. I will need to test that further. Just noticed that my face seemed a bit orange with that combo today, although I did put on l'oreal Serum prior to the primer, so it could be that combo causing some oxidization.

Comments about Maybelline FaceStudio Master Prime Blur + Smooth Primer:

This primer isn't awful, but I won't really be reaching for it again. It says that its blurring, so I was expecting a thicker, softer consistency, like the benefit pore-fessional, but its kind of wet and oily. It also has kind of a weird smell? My makeup stayed on ok though. I also broke out the day after wearing it, but I do have really sensitive skin. If it was advertised as being more wet, then I would like it better, because it doesn't blur your pores at all.

Wanted to try smashbox primer first but saw the maybelline brand first in the store. I haven't found a maybelline product I haven't liked so I tried it. (More bang for your buck) It was totally satisfying and will continue wearing this brand primed.

          Very Bad...

          from High Point, NC

Comments about Maybelline FaceStudio Master Prime Blur + Smooth Primer:

If you have oily skin, stay FAR away from this primer. My skin is oilier with this primer than with no primer at all. And is does nothing for smoother over pores or "blurring" imperfections. Horrible. I wish I could give it -0- stars.

Product description says it comes in three formulas. Please describe them? I want to choose the best formula for my combination skin with oily T zone, enlarged pores, acne scars and wrinkles. Omg, I sound like a hot mess!

                  A:

Hi Layla! This product does come in 3 different formulas for varying skin needs. The Blur + Smooth formula is designed to even out skin texture and blur imperfections. The Blur + Illuminate formula brightens dull skin while blurring imperfections. Lastly the Blur + Redness Control formula evens tone and controls redness. We hope this helps you make your decision about the best choice for you!

Hi the description says it's a water based product but the first 6 items a lot are silicones? Why does it say water based when ingredients clearly show it's not? I need to know since I need all my face products to play well together & I stay away from silicones as much as possible

Hi Hope! This product is water based because the first ingredient is water. A water based product does not mean that it has no silicone. We hope this clarifies!
