It does what its supposed to and at a fraction of the cost to many name brand primers. I used this one to help me with my Halloween makeup, i am a leopard.
I am kind of in-between on this product. I was surprised that it came out of the bottle as a thick, white-cream and not clear. I applied it to my face using my finger-tips, and it blended nicely on my face, but it left a weird film on my fingers. I applied my make-up as usual and then went about my day. I noticed during the day that my foundation became WAY more dewy--almost oily if you will--throughout the day, and I have mostly normal skin. Additionally, if I touched my face at all during the day, my foundation came off. My foundation also broke up around my smile and nose-lines. This product felt a little heavier on my face compared to other primers. I put that the best wear use for this product would be for traveling because traveling can often make my skin appear very dry, so this product would definitely make it look dewy. I will have to give this product another try and apply my make-up differently to see if it makes a change for how it wears on my face.

Great skin smoothing primer. This is my second tube. I usually use high end primer for my normal to combination skin. This does a good job at creating a nice base. It's a lotion consistency if anyone needed to know.
Ari from STL
This is a WONDERFUL primer. The only downside is it's not the best primer if you have dry skin. Other than that its affordable and does a great job.
Dani from New York
I always go back to his primer I love how it makes my makeup last all day it minimize my pores. After a long day at the office I end up a bit oily But my face still looks smooth . I love to use this primer with the Maybelline Superstay

Works amazing works amazing under any foundation better out of higher end products that I've tried

I use this product as a base for foundation and blush. It is comparable to a similar product by Smashbox but not as costly.

Tried this Maybelline primer "smooth and blur" product, thinking that it probably wouldn't work—but it does! Helps to hide sun damage spots and smooth out the look of the skin, making a wonderful base to apply foundation to. Makeup seems to stay in place better. If you are looking for a primer product, I would recommend that you try the Maybelline line of products.
Bubblewrap from Toledo
Does a fairly good job compared to benefit.

it beats out most high end primers in my book & for my skin works great

This is my go to primer for casual days, under my foundation. I also use it with just a moisturizing sunscreen, to even out my skin on weekends.

I really liked this primer at first. I used it for about a month and a half. I had clear skin and after using it for awhile. I started to majorly breakout around the bridge of my nose. I never breakout there ever! I immediately stopped using it. Now I've had acne that hurts there for 4 1/2 months and it won't go away. I thinks it's the silicone. Do not recommend!!

This primer did nothing to blur or smooth out anything. It did nothing for me.
divinespark from Wilmington, NC
I've tried other primers that have an unusual consistency. This is a great lotion-feeling primer which smooths on well and does the job of diminishing appearance of pores.
Brookelynbrawler from Springfield Illinois
I did notice I didn't have dry patches that tend to get cakey looking I didn't have that with this but it didn't make my makeup last longer
maddie from dfw
I really like this stuff. It leaves the skin nice and tacky so that foundation clings to it better, and then my makeup last forever. It's not incredibly blurring or anything but it does the job well. I just really like how it feels If I need extra help I use a tiny bit of benefit porefessional.
Nic from Illinois
I find that is does make for a smooth foundation application but the blurring does not Wow me. I would rather go for the Hard Candy blue stick to blue my pores.
UltaShopper from Chicago, IL
Goes on smoothly, and makeup blends well with it.
LittleOne from Tx
This product does what it says! I love that it actually blurs your imperfections! It works great and it's not at all oily! Great primer!

SparklyShell from Pacific Northwest
I was happy with this. Especially for the cost. My makeup looked more smooth and lasted a long time
I Teach from MS
This product is great for preparing my skin for the application of my foundation.
Linda from Asheville, NC
I usually use Ulta's primer but ran out and had to buy something from a drugstore. The maybelline primer feels sticky on your face and feels like it had to dry for 20 minutes. There was nothing bluring or smoothing about this product, it made my pores look huge and I have more uneven skin than I started with. My face feels disgusting.

The primer goes on so smoothly and easily. Helps my foundation stay in place better and it feels like it goes on smoother without feeling dry. Normally like the 400 but this 100 was good too.
