I'm so glad I decided to try this setting powder! I use a big Ulta powder brush to dust over my finished make up and sorta use a circular motion while brushing it on and this powder leaves my skin looking so smooth...almost an air brushed affect! Plus it keeps my make up in place and looking fresh for hours on end!!!
When I first got the product, I just applied it with a damp beauty blender & let it bake. I loved the fact that it actually smoothes & hides imperfections, however, when I took a picture with flash, I had a white cast over all the areas put it on. So I decided to sweep it over my concealer & it provided the same smooth effect without the white flashback. So I would definitely buy again now that I've learned how to use it.

Maybelline Face Studio Setting Powder gives the skin an immediate matte effect and fixes the make-up without the unpleasant feeling of a mask. Thanks to its lower covering abilities, the powder adapts perfectly to the tone of your skin and ensures you a great look all day long.

This is meant for dusting once all your makeup is on. NOT meant for baking, to the people who complain of flashback you are using it wrong. It helps set your makeup and blurs everything together. I have been using this for years and people always complement my skin even though i dont have the best skin.

For the first month or so of using this it was okay, not a great setting powder but it did the job. But then I started noticing it was irritating my skin and causing to dry out. I tried different cleansers, moisturizers, and foundations before realizing this was causing the problems.

I have recently just found this product. No trouble with flashback-perhaps these reviewers who complain about it and it settling in pores are using too much. A little goes a long way. Don't bake it.

This is one of maybellines worst products. The texture is too fine, it dries out your foundation, making it crack and crumble, and It worsens the longevity of your makeup. Theres also no point to it being HD translucent because it doesn't have any brightening properties. Stick to the fitme powder, it is exponentially better than this

absolutely terrible flashback. it made me look like a ghost.

Been searching for a translucent powder like this one. Holds my makeup ALL DAY and doesn't give me a cakey look.

I bought this product a few days ago. I used very little powder to set my concealer and I used a little to clean my contour up a little. once I finished my makeup and took a picture the FLASHBACK was so horrible. In the picture it looked like i had so much powder on my face still. IT WAS A DISASTER! I'm glad I decided to take a picture at home to check if it looked ok. Also the container is small and it has very little product in the container. Not worth the money at all !

The flashback is absolutely horrendous! It settles in lines. I DO NOT recommend this product it's awful!

I've tried many products to minimize pores but the bottom line is I don't like the extra layers of product before I apply powder foundation - with this, I wear minimal makeup as normal and can apply the powder where my pores are more noticeable and they are blurred away - great product!! No flashback with cameras either

Every time I use this it gets really chalky like settles into all my pores making my extremely noticeable and just lays on my face and doesn't sink in and work with any of my foundations
makeup monkey from texas
There is terrible flashback, it was dried my skin when I baked my concealer, and not a lot of powder comes in the container.
libbygail from Orlando, FL
I used this once and the flashback is TERRIBLE! I tried to get the powder off with a brush and it absolutely wouldn't. Not only that but it makes you face feel super stiff and creases. 10/10 do not recommend.

It looks amazing on the face and makes your face look smooth ... But there is alot of flashback like ALOT .

Hi! I saw a tutorial using this kind of product so I went to Ulta to find a similar product. I liked it so far, It is very powdering. which I think it is the purpose of it.

I really enjoy this powder for using under my eyes. It's soft and melts into your skin wonderfully. It's affordable but I just wish there was more product for the price compared to the FIT ME loose powder.
Kelly K from New Jersey
Love this powder, light weight, melts into the under eyes and really helps blur and prevent creasing. BUT THE FLASHBACK IS REAL! If I'm just going to work then it's fine, but I know if I'm going out and there will be a photo opp that I have to pick something else

Great powder and blurs pores but bad flashback with lights
Stace from Massachusetts
This is a very inexpensive product that doesn't change the color of my foundation because it is transparent. I use this everyday and with my super sensitive skin have not had any problems with breakouts.
Mesmit from Oxford
I actually really liked this powder, that was until I wore it at night. The flashback is terrible. It makes you look like a ghost, no joke.
