Most Helpful Positive Review I wish it could go with my skin color :( When I first wore this highlighter on my face, first thing, it didn't go very well with my skin tone (my skin tone is in between fair to very fair).
In my opinion, according to the drugstore standards, the quality you are getting in this price, you can definitely count this highlighter as one of your top 5 best drugstore highlighters, but sadly, its not for everyone and every skin tone!
Most Helpful Critical Review not blinding i was really hoping for a blinding highlight, but it was more subtle. i felt it was very glittery. i did not wear it ever. i have the wet n wild highlight in precious petals and and blossom glow and they are half the price and sooooo much better!! they can be subtle or blinding. i would never recommend this. wet n wild is much better. Drugstore makeup have really stepped up their makeup game in the past years! Maybelline's FaceStudio Master Chrome Highlighter is a true gem because it's pigmented enough for a natural look, but enough for intense. My skin tone is golden with yellow tones. The shade I bought was "Molten Golden," it's a gorgeous champagne-golden shade that gives the skin the perfect glow/sheen, not chalky and texture like a cream highlighter when you touch it, but goes on powder. I took this to India for my wedding, used it for literally everything and even the makeup artist felt in love with it. I used it as a nail "topper" to add sparkle since I didn't have any polish that matched my wedding dress, it worked! Got lot of compliments! Drugstore price with a high-end quality? Yess please! 🙌🏽 Truly impressed and I will be trying out other shades in the collection. Forever buying this! Please don't discontinue this, Maybelline! < 3

I really like this highlighter! It is super pigmented, and it adds a super fun sparkle to an everyday look. It is very glittery and doesn't give that natural glow look, so if you don't like that you probably won't like this. In my opinion, I love the way it looks and I think it is super cute!

I love mine. I have the rose gold. it looks lighter and more soft in person. I am light with yellow undertone. these look lighter in person. they probably only work for light to medium skin tone. which is my only gripe. they should take more customers in consideration. Maybelline is a huge brand and there products are stellar. so why be exclusive??? they have enough $$ for product expansion to take deep and fair pale skin with all different undertones into consideration. the fact that it doesn't seem like Maybelline has taken inclusiveness as their marketing approach makes me reconsider purchasing anything from them. which is a shame because the quality of their highlighter formula is impeccable. But I'd rather support b.o.m.b and purchase from colour rain. their highlighters are impeccable and even though they target customers are more bipoc beauties, they have taken lighter skin tones into consideration too. so everyone can have an option and an impeccable no playing around highlighter. the exclusive marketing strategies are not the trends in beauty anymore. we expect brands to utilize the message of inclusivity which is how it always should have been. I hope Maybelline will get the message.

I just bought this to try since I've never used highlighter before. I love it the color isn't too much it's just right. I wear it with my blush from the Ulta beauty brand and it looks great. I received many compliments with it on.

i needed a new highlighter so i got this one. i got the shade molten gold. it's very pretty and blinding, but its so powdery. i dont mind the glitter as it looks pretty in the sun but if ur a more natural girl when it comes to makeup u probably wont like this. also, mine came broken lol.

I didn't like this one. The both times I bought it, it would break and crack! It looks dry and patchy on the skin. Personally not a big fan of this one

I got this highlighter based on recommendations and the hype it got on youtube. The amount of people saying this is a wet, glossy skin highlighter almost makes me question if I got a bad batch or something because this is a glittery mess!! It sits on the skin weirdly and the chunky glitter particles are unflattering.
In the end, I think it comes down to personal preference. If you don't mind a glittery highlighter, you might love this! But I was hoping this would give a glossy, wet-look.. I guess it was my bad since the name says it is a "metallic" highlighter after all..

I love this highlighter! I got the shade Molten Pearl and use it everyday on the tip of my nose and above my cupids bow. It can be really blinding if you build it up, and looks great over foundation! I would recommend!

This highlighter is a game changer! For the price, it can't be beat. The Rose Gold shade is great for a natural tone; not too warm, not too cool. The payoff is great and gives a very bright metallic glow. My favorite drugstore highlighter!

I picked up the shade Molten Pearl since I'm not too familiar with Maybelline's highlighter formulas and OH MY GOSH! The formula is so buttery and smooth it genuinely reminds me of the notorious Becca highlighters. This shade is absolute heaven and perfection. The only thing that disappoints me is that this isn't cruelty free. They are worth a try!

Looks natural. Not too glittery. Not too shiny. I have fair skin and bought the Nikki collab one, works great. I always prefer subtler makeup, I don't want to blind people :D
HUGE TIP: I think if you scratch/ remove the upper layer (gently!!, just a bit) it works better. Some makeup products have have a protective coat on them. I used my finger.

The molten gold and rose gold are Holy Grail status in my collection! A light hand gives a beautiful glow. Works great for accentuating the Cupid's bow. Unfortunately, the peach was not for me as it is too glittery for my preference.

when I first got this i loved it probably because i love peach highlighters but it's kind of chunky and gritty and very glittery i never knew what a good highlighter was until I tried pat McGraths trio they are sooo smooth and buttery

This is truly a great highlight, very affordable and great color selection. Honestly my go to is this product in the shade Molten Rose Gold and Molten Gold. I have medium neutral skin and it beautifully adds a shine that can look cool toned or warm toned depending on the rest of the makeup look. The other shades are a bit too sparkly for my taste. The only problem that I have with this product is that when you tap into the pan it creates quite a bit of fallout with large flakes which can be messy. But don't let that hold you back, this highlighter is truly my go to.

I use this highlighter every time that I wear makeup and it's stunning!! I usually dip my brush in it about two/three times into the highlighter and it gives such a nice amount of the product on my face every time. And it gives a nice simple glow. And what is nice too is that if you want a little bit of more glow, you can just dip it in a couple more times to get a little more glow.

I really can't seem to understand why people love this so much! I decided to give it a shot because of all the hype. However, I am VERY disappointed: 1- it accentuates ALL the imperfections on my skin.
2-Makes my pores and blackheads extremely visible!! (Even more so than on bare skin)
3- Does NOT show, no matter how much you apply
4- looks VERY CHALKY (a little like dirt)
Idk maybe it is just me, but maybelline products never seem to work for me, especially their skin products. If you are a fair skinned girl with oily skin, pores, and blackheads, just avoid this, save your money
