Doesn't blend well, leaves white residue

    By AM

Comments about CeraVe Face Sunscreen 50 with Zinc Oxide Broad Spectrum SPF 50:

The SPF was great, but I noticed that I would have white pasty residue on my face no matter how much I rubbed it in. It also didn't mix well with my make up on over it. Cheaper than LaRoche Posay brand, but not great quality. I won't use it again.

Comments about CeraVe Face Sunscreen 50 with Zinc Oxide Broad Spectrum SPF 50:

I was looking for a sunscreen that didn't contain chemical ingredients, CeraVe was perfect. Goes on well and does not leave a white cast on you face. Also, it does not make my eyes sting after application like the one I was using previously.

Comments about CeraVe Face Sunscreen 50 with Zinc Oxide Broad Spectrum SPF 50:

So, there are a lot of complaints about this sunscreen, and I understand why. If I put this on alone, it will make white clumps and it just doesn't rub in well. It also makes me look ghostly white. But if I mix this with my CeraVe moisturizer, it doesn't make me look white, it rubs in fine, and it acts as a primer for my makeup and keeps it from getting greasy and breaking down during the day. However, I'm not sure if this will work on darker skintones.

Comments about CeraVe Face Sunscreen 50 with Zinc Oxide Broad Spectrum SPF 50:

I have sensitive skin and can no longer use other sunscreen products meant for the face (had been using Neutrogena Ultrasheer Dry-touch and similar) since they burn my skin and cause red rashes. I have been using this for a few months now and have not had any negative reactions to it. I also am outside most of the day and have found that this product is good for about half the day with one liberal application.

Comments about CeraVe Face Sunscreen 50 with Zinc Oxide Broad Spectrum SPF 50:

Whole family hated it. Very gritty with very small sharp particles suspended in fluid. Tried shaking it up more but nothing helped. It was so scratchy that it irritated my face. It also doesn't rub in well, leaving behind a whitish residue. Sorry, but I don't want to look like my face has been white washed.
