Most Helpful Positive Review Best Powder for my Oily Skin!
I use the powder to set and sometimes bake under my eyes. The powder is lite weight and easy to apply. The packaging has a slide to close off the powder from spilling everywhere. Powder in general can be messy but I have minimal problems with this powder being messy since it comes out in small increments.
The powder is yellow but not Sacha Buttercup yellow where you will literally look yellow lol. It has a hint of yellow that truly brightens your under eyes. It does not leave me with a white cast and I even use it to sharpen my contour.
The powder price is great in my opinion but I use a combination of high end and drug store. This powder is truly my favorite powder. I've used Dermablend, Laura Mercir, Sacha Buttercup, Cody Airsprun, and the list continues. This powder does not dry out my under eye and when my oils starts coming through it does not budge.
Most Helpful Critical Review Disappointing
I've been wanting to try this product forever and waited until ulta was selling it because I dont shop anywhere else for my makeup. First of all, for the price it's extremely small but I get the markup value and I understand smaller brands may need to price it this way so I got it anyway. My biggest issue was that when I applied the setting powder it would look beautiful at first but then would break apart when I would apply setting spray. You could see the powder with little white specks and see it broken apart in patches on my face. I experimented trying it dusted on lightly and with baking under my eyes and jawline, I tired multiple different brands of setting sprays as well. I tried it with a few different foundations under. No matter which combination i used it was the same thing, as soon as I used setting spray you could see patches of powder all over my face. Even with paying attention to how I blend. It was sad because I really loved the packaging and wanted to like this product. It was also shocking because I couldn't find any other reviews reporting this issue but when I returned it at ulta, the cashier told me a lot of people report the same problem. I ended up exchanging it for the too faced powder and am so much happier with that powder. No issues at all.

I use the Cassava to set my cheeks and nose area as those are my problem areas for redness. I LOVE it! No regrets on this purchase at all.
Didn't Perform Well For Me
Rye from Washington, DC
I bought this product to bake with and sadly it was a NO for me. It didn't set my makeup well and looked bad after a few hours. I tried using this off and on for a month but it's not for me.
Perfect Translucent Powder
CKS from Alabama
Its so hard to find a good translucent setting powder these days. This one is perfect! Its comes in cute packaging and I like the bakery theme. Long wearing powder that keeps makeup in place and doesn't add unnecessary color (if you don't want it).
my favorite powder for years
ally from tampa
this is the absolute best translucent setting powder you will ever find. i've used it for years and it SETS but blurs my skin perfectly. i live in florida btw so this has been tested in all the humidity lol it's great, you need it
Blends out terribly
SRJ from Florida
I was looking for a backup for my Laura Mercier powder so I tried this. I clearly got the wrong color but besides that it blended out terribly. It literally looked like I smeared coal dust on my face. Absolutely awful product.

I was blown away by this. Other setting powders I've used have so much kickback im usually coughing. I love the packaging when you can control how much you want to use. Flawless application over foundation. Smooth.
Great all over powder

I set it on after primer and it does not crease. It feels skin like.
Fine and smoothing powder
Naturalmakeuplover from Burtonsville, MD
I love this powder. This is the first time I got it to try it out and it's amazing! My face is dry but it does get oily on my T zone and this powder keeps my face matte for 12hrs (that's the longest time I've had it on). You should get it, it blurs everything.

This is a great product. I'm sure there's a dupe out there somewhere but I've tried multiple and all have failed. So might as well spend the extra money and use it without any issues.

No need to find another!
Do not buy

This gave me angry acne! I haven't been allergic to a product in so long but my skin did NOT like the ingredients in this at all. After checking the ingredients i realized the main ingredient is talc! Should've checked before buying. My face is blistering. It's so so bad :(

I was excited to try this powder, and it is truly worth the hype. It is so smoothing and oil controlling without looking dry or cakey. I also love how the packaging comes with a stopper. A little powder goes a long way so it will last a while too. I highly highly recommend this powder!
Lilly Ann from Lafayette, Louisiana
I work in prestige cosmetics and this is the best setting powder that I've used. It gives a nice, matte and natural finish. This is great for oily skin. i bought this in chestnut and it really gives a nice tone without the orange or red look. This is a must buy!
Makeup Game Changer!
Komuroa from Atlanta, Georgia
I use this powder in the shade rice to set my undereye concealer and to bake my face, let me just tell you how much this has FOREVER changed my makeup game! I always struggled with finding the perfect baking powder that wouldn't settle in my creases, wasn't too heavy, didn't cause flashback, and didn't make my skin have a negative reaction. This powder keeps me set all day!! This is my new holy grail and I would highly recommend it to anyone who feels like they haven't found their perfect powder!
Go To Powder!

I wanna say this is a HG item for me. I gravitate towards this powder very often. Already on my 3rd repurchase. Feels very lightweight and smooth on my skin. It offers a velvety like texture and keeps my makeup set all day long. I'm usually doing 10 hour shifts plus school at the moment, so I would say this powder does it's job well.
Trish from SoFlo
At first I did not love this powder, but after continued use I really love it. It's also a cleaner option to other comparable powders on the market. I apply with a damp beauty blender, dab the excess powder on the back of my hand, and apply to my under eyes for a brightening effect. I would definitely repurchase.
Don't love it
Rebeca from Kearny NJ
I tried using this so many different ways... brush it on lightly, pack it on then brush it off, use a damp blender to apply and any way i put it on it always comes out so patchy, i don't know how to explain in but it makes my undereyes look cracked and dry... i really really wanted to love this but i would pass

One of my new all time faves. Sets beautifully, and not drying.
Will buy again

For the summer, I've been applying Cle de Peau 50 SPF - let that sink in + then dust on this Flour - seems to work pretty well. I'm in air conditioning all day, so i haven't seen any oil break throughs.
I bought two and I just opens the first one! 😃

I use this product when setting my face. Especially under eye setting !
Mandie from Denver, CO
With the extra time at home, I decided to use cosDNA (a makeup database) to check the "grades" on all my makeup products in terms of containing ingredients harmful to skin. Not only did this powder get graded as a 9 out of possible 10 rating for containing acne-causing ingredients (with 1 meaning lowest acne risk), I researched further and saw that Talc (the first ingredient listed in this powder) is under scrutiny for causing cancer. I'm honestly kind of surprised that Ulta would even sell a product with known carcinogens in their ingredients. Throwing it away immediately and will look more closely at what I'm purchasing in the future.
The best setting powder!
Jordan from Texas
I am so glad I finally tried this loose powder! It is soft, and light weight! It doesn't have a scent and does wonders for under eye creasing! It is my favorite powder to bake with but doesn't get cakey! I pack it on under my eye to prevent eyeshadow fall out and when I sweep it away it reveals a smooth and flawless finish. Will definitely y purchase again!
love this powder
sofia from philadelphia, pa
i love this powder! for the longest time i used the maybelline fit me loose powder, but i wanted to try something new. i had heard really good things about this one so i decided to give it a try. i'm so glad i did! its a fine powder and sets my concealer really nicely without being too thick, chunky or cakey. it has a velvety finish that leaves my skin looking nice and smooth, even on days when my skin isn't doing great. the only thing is, if you are a more oily skin type it might not be powerful enough for you or you might have to use more; i have pretty dry skin but after a day at work (as a server) i am definitely looking pretty oily. not a big deal though if you don't mind doing touch ups throughout the day. overall, i would definitely recommend this product, i can't imagine doing my makeup without it now!
StacyGoLightly9891 from Crown Heights
I'm a new fan of this one. I work 10 hour shifts in a state penitentiary, it's hot and this held up as well as my Fenty, if not better. I'm an oil slick and I was still in place at 5.
Powder was too "thin" for my super oily face
Alex from Chicago
I have fine lines under my eyes and I rely on translucent powder to set my under eye concealer to avoid any of the concealer setting into my fine lines. I saw the reviews on this product and decided to try it out.
Unfortunately, even with the powder, my makeup still creased within an hour and my concealer faded a little bit as well. I have super oily combo skin and I applied it to my t-zone to help my makeup last. Within an hour, my face became super oily as if I never applied any powder. I think this didn't work out on me because of how thin the powder is. Laura Mercier's powder is "thicker" and I think that is what I need to keep my makeup in place.
