I have no idea how this brow pen got such poor reviews because I LOVE IT. I have SPARCE brows. And when I say sparce, I mean practically non existent! They are naturally platinum blonde and literally 3 hairs above each eye. So brow products for me are a MUST to look normal every day. But I struggle big tone with colors and undertones. Most gels, pomades, and powders just look yo artificial and harsh on me. And pencils take forever. But this 3-prong applicator took my 20min brow routine (yes, seriously 20min) to literally 5min!
I purchased the 2nd lightest shade soft brown color because my hair right now is a cool toned ash blonde. The color matches wonderfully and the undertone is also very cool toned which I struggle to find. It lasts ALL DAY as long as you don't sweat all crazy at the gym. It survives normal water like a rain storm but I think the skin oils from a gym workout are what makes it come off. It's super easy for the perfect natural fluffy brow and the price is unreal. It does not cause that weird green tint that other products like the Maybelline pen cause. NEVER STOP MAKING THIS!!
I am occasionally using essence cosmetic products and despite of their basic quality and short lasting I did not suspect that this eyebrow pen will be a whole new (negative) experience. I bought a medium brown eyebrow pen. A few mins after the application it already started to look very artificial (like a tattoo or sth). I decided to go out anyway only to find out - after getting too many suspicious stares from strangers - that my eyebrows are in fact green. Well, at least they matched my backpack. I hope the green color will wash off. Highly NOT recommended and this is the last time I bought sth from essence.

I liked this product because of how inexpensive it is. You get nice lines without inconsistencies and can build for more pigment in the areas you desire (tips of brow, space above brow bone). Although I do not find it to be precise enough to create thin strokes at the front of my brow. I find that it doesn't smudge throughout the day, but it would come off with water I'm sure. I placed it on the back of my hand and rinsed with water to test this.
For the price, it's worth a try!
Nice for minimalist/natural makeup or a small fix for your routine.

I have very sparse browse from cancer treatment and have tried many brown products from high end to drugstore. This was easy to use and gave me full looking brows.

Looks great at first.... then it turns green.

The initial eye I started with was great but as I was doing the second eye the color wasn't as pigmented.

Okay so first of all it's not a bad product but!!!! the colors are very weird so i do my eyebrows with pomade and then if i see any weird patches i'll use this pen even if i have no visible patches i'll still use it just once on my eyebrows, and then i go to apply a clear gel so this is when i first noticed that the color was not only visible (the strokes) but pink/purple ish! i thought maybe the wand of the gel had gotten into some of eyeshadow i had done a pink eyeshadow look some time this week so i was like dam but today it happened again! i used a whole different gel so that's when i was like oh u can the strokes and they are pink/purple

Do NOT waste your money. Yes, the prongs/applicator is good, and I liked it for those first few strokes, but this was dry by the second use. Also, the color is very odd. I bought two shades, blonde and light brown, and while they swatched fine on my hand, they seemed to reflect a sort of blue/purple/green. Very weird.

I've tried many eyebrow pens. I was looking for one that the tip didn't get misshapen and stayed sharp. The maybelline pen frays and bends. The L'Oréal is like a sharpie. The essence stays in shape and sharp. I like to use a micro brow pencil first then use the essence pen to make the final sharp touches like on the outline of my brow. It does not nor has ever turned green. It doesn't draw well on bare skin, but rather well where there is hair.

I read bad reviews of turning your eyebrows green and I personally never had this happen. I used the dark brown and it really enhanced my eyebrows!

I am in love with this eyebrow pen. The pen is soft, the formula glides on easily and looks very natural.

I love it and people are saying it sucks and it turned their brows green. NO IT DOES NOT. This is super helpful to get the natural brow look without stamping them on . I will definitely buy again

Tested on my arm when I got it. Everything was fine. Wore it today for the first time and low and behold - it had turned bluish green by the end of the day.

This makes nice strokes on your hand but doesn't seem to work on your actual brows. The it turns green as it rubs off. The Milani or Urban Decay pens are way better.

Turned my eyebrows green. Was very upset with the outcome.

I'm so glad I test patched this product on my arm because when I washed it off, it left a green/blue stain of where the product was! I wanted to like this product because of the strokes it created, but even that aspect let me down because of how watery and running the pen is. It bled in all directions so you can't even see each the hair strokes. Super sad about this product :(

This is the second product of the type I have tried. I have tried the maybelline brand, and had more luck. It will give you 1-2 strokes then it's like nothing happens. I'm willing to try a more prestigious brand to see if it's worth it.

I'm always on the hunt for good eyebrow products. Love the triple point pen- very easy to fill in brows with precision. Color is a good match too. Very happy with this deal.

Things started fine with this product. Until I noticed my eyebrow shape from the pen was literally green. It's only noticeable up close but green, nonetheless

Do not get !! I was so impressed when I first applied it to my brows , then a few hours later I looked in the mirror and seen that my brows were green! Like when fake jewelry turns your skin green, this will turn your brows green

So I have been wanting to try a product like this and I have got to say that I am very disappointed. At first I was excited about the product. I swatched it on my hand and the strokes showed up faint but showed up! I have tried this product a few times before decluttering it and I feel the same way about it every time. It does not show up on my brows. I have tried light strokes and putting a bit more pressure down to hopefully get it to show up but when I do that it just sort of smears around and ends up making my eyebrows look so messy. It does not work as intended so I am just throwing it away. Don't waste your money no matter how cheap it is.
