OK, seriously, ditch ABH right now. I use brow wiz to line and the perfect brown pencil to fill (as recommended but sometimes I'd just go with the pencil but it depends on how defined I liked them) but this takes the place of BOTH. it applies so nicely and the point is perfect for lining and filling. My eyebrows are so light and sparse but I get full thick brows with this product just like I did with the ABH products but at a fraction of the pricr. This is my new favorite eye brow product!
The product itself is okay, I honestly feel there is too much of an orangey hue for my particular blonde, but it's alright. My issue is that I purchased this, went home to find that the liner half did not twist up. I went back the same day to exchange but they were stocked out by then. Was advised to try another location. Ok, no big deal, I had errands close to another Ulta on the other side of town so I stop in to that location to check and this item isn't stocked at all from what I can tell. Again, no biggie, I'm a buyer I know that each locations stock selections vary. A week later or so, I go to the original Ulta to just return and find it stocked. Woo hoo, I exchange finally but then have to pay 2 dollars because the item was on sale when I bought it which I felt was unnecessary since I'd tried to resolve the issue right away. Then on the way home, I notice that the blonde is realllllly dark, check and find that although the outside packaging says blonde, the color inside is dark brown. Wasn't visible at time of purchse. What the heck Maybelline/ Ulta? Not worth the headache!!!

I've tried several other brow products, but keep coming back to this. It'd be nice if the point was a little finer, but the color and ease of application make this a big win. I really only need to line the base of my brows and can use the powder for the rest. I've used the soft brown when I'm bayalage and the medium brown when I'm not. Both are nice, neutral options.

I love the simplicity. Pencil on one side, fill on the other. Easy to use and the color matches well with my blonde eyebrows. Down side, the pencil doesn't last very long. I keep buying it tho, because there isn't anything else that works better for me.

been using this for about 2 years now and they work great, I have trichotillomania and pull me eyebrows out and so have to do a full fill and this holds all day and stays put in water unless there's chlorine then it kinda comes off, but with that being said it looks really good and doesn't look cakey

I really like this! I was looking for a powder, i like the coverage and application. I was wanting the Estee Lauder one, but I love this one so much more! Plus the price point is on point lol

The brow powder made filling in easy, fast, and even.

So far this product is working for me. I have very thin eyebrows and have been struggling to find the right product that blends in together to make my eyebrows look natural and so far so good.

Love this product. I have very thin eyebrows and this product makes them look much fuller without looking artificial. Easy to use. I like that the powder fills in so I don't have to be so precise with the pencil.

I have used this product for quite sometime. Tried the gel brow filler hoping for a "one step" solution but didn't compare.

I bought this product several days ago and I've used it twice so far and the powder side has stopped filling in my brows. It's not as pigmented as it was when I applied it for the first time. I've trued everything to get more powder out and nothing has worked. Super disappointed considering how many positive reviews there are for this product. I'll be returning this item.

I love the idea of a pencil and powder duo. However when I tried this pencil (a few months after I bought it on sale) I had trouble getting it to work. The pencil part would jump out like a jack in the box every time I tried to use it. The sponge tip on the flip side of the pencil worked great for a while, but then the powder seemed to be running thin.

I bought this and the Browfood Aquabrow which is the same concept. This seemed to have a little better staying power as far as not fading or disappearing as your skin's oils work on it throughout the day. That being said-you do need to set this with a face powder unless you've got a mattifying primer under it (would still reccomend if you're an oily lady like me) and you're good. Decent color selection too.

I have very blonde hair and most pencils are too dark or a weird reddish tint. This has been the only one I have bought that works with my colour.

Does the job without looking unnatural

I love this eyebrow pencil. I haven't used the powder side. I fill in my brows with the pencil side and set it with the Covergirl easy breezy brow clear gel. It goes on very smoothly.

I really like this product, draw the shape with the crayon tip , and then fill and smooth it out with the blender/powder tip.

I used to use the ABH Brow Wiz for the longest but looked for a drugstore dupe when that got waaaayyy too expensive for me. I found this beauty & have been using it ever since! I do my eyebrows nearly every day, and in comparison to the Brow Wiz, I have found that this pencil lasts longer & stays on longer throughout the day. Granted, it is a pencil product, so it's not going to be smudge-proof, but I have definitely found it to stay on longer than the Brow Wiz. I have found that the best way for me to keep on the tails of my eyebrows (the part that comes off the easiest), I layer a pomade (also Maybelline) on top of the ends & it stays through even workouts!
If you're looking for a good drugstore eyebrow pencil that won't break the bank, this is your gal!!

This brow pencil does it all! I have naturally thick and filled in brows, and this helps to just fill in sparse areas. I love this brow pencil!

With thinning and over plucked brows, this is great to fill and and blur/blend with the powder end. Been using this for several years now. Good color choices.

I'm writing another review bc since I bought the last pencils most of them have broken on the pencil end. Since I've been using then for so long I'm positive that the formula has changed. Every time I use these they break, I'm using them the same way just like I've done my make & especially my eyebrows for years. I recently put in an order for several different eyebrow pencils, I also ordered a maybelline pencil w/o the powder end. I need something thats going to work & I don't want to worry if I get up, do my normal daily routine & have another pencil break in the middle of doing my makeup. It's so frustrating bc this worked for yrs & when they change the formula it's not the same & super frustrating. I'm glad I ordered so many last time bc I now have 4 pencils that are broken & can only use the powder end.
I left a comment back in Dec/2018. I've been using this pencil a long time, my daughter uses this pencil & my grand daughter uses the auburn which Ulta doesn't have ( most stores carry the auburn color). My hair is reddish blonde, I use the blonde color, I have loved having great looking brows because of this pencil. My brows are very light & thinning which this pencil is great for both. I can make my brows match my hair & go light or darker for evening however, it seems as though the formula has changed on the powder end, tge pencil end seems to still be the same. I bought 5 of the "blonde" pencils & one "light blonde." The light blonde has no color, not on my eyebrows or the side of my hand, ir maybe it's just defective. I still use this pencil but it doesn't go on near as smoothly as it used to & it seems that I almost have to swirl & dig for the color which I never had to do before. I will continue to use this until I find something better or until I get a good one (maybe I just got a bad pencil)? When I buy these I usually get several & more if they're on sale because one broke on the pencil end & went down the drain so I never want to be out. I can only hope that I got a defective pencil. I'm placing another order as I only have one left. If I find that the next few pencils don't wirk very well I may rhink about looking for a new brand & we all know how hard that can be, buy different ones. give them away or give them to my grandaughters for dress up. I used to think this was the best pencil ever, and it was! New formula? A bad batch? A bad pencil from a good batch? If you are any shade of blonde, DO NOT get the LIGHT BLONDE, the blonde will go very light to a very dark brown, they do layer nicely. And, by the way, I hate this rating system because you can't see where you've left off or what you've written.
